This book was totally unexpected and explosive, but you'll need to read it to find out why! I was glued to my kindle all evening until l finished it and devoured it in one sitting! I never expected the ending at all totally shocked me!

This is the first book I've read from this author and now I'm a firm fan! It was hard to pick who I liked as a character but at the start of the book I liked Lexi.

Even if it has been proven that you are completely innocent, it can still be difficult to shake off this feeling. So, what do you do? To prevent anything else dramatic from happening, you may become overprotective toward certain people while pushing away others who are dealing with just as much grief as you are.

The result: One person may turn against you because they feel suffocated, jeopardizing your good relationship, while another may distance themselves even further. In the end, what remains?

This is an incredibly captivating book. It is filled with suspense, unexpected twists, and deep emotions. I figured out a few things on my own, which I always enjoy, but I was even more thrilled by the surprises I didn’t see coming.

I am also a big fan of stories told from multiple perspectives. The transformation Ava undergoes is beautiful to witness, and I found Emily to be a complex and interesting character. The daughters of both women also grow throughout the story.

The writing style is incredibly smooth, with a great rhythm throughout the book.
