Thank you to netGalley, Boldwood Books & author Phoebe MacLeod for this eARC
Love, Accidentally is not the typical romance yet I still very much enjoyed it.
I really liked that the book spent some time on Tillys work-life as that is am very big part for us nurses, since it has a lot of influence over our personal/dating lives.
I liked Tilly as a main character and enjoyed the quirky side characters.
I love that it didn’t fall into the cliche will they won’t they workplace romance and enjoyed my time reading this.
A solid, cute, quick read.

Love, Accidentally immediately drew me in as I thought of Grey’s Anatomy turned rom-com. I love a good workplace romance, especially one filled with scrubs and banter, and a prescription of romance. Enter Tilly and Dr. Luke, Dr Luke sets the whole ER ‘s hearts racing across the hospital. Their chemistry between them is heartfelt! Could Dr. Luke be Tilly’s McDreamy?
This is a delightfully a sweet and charming romantic comedy with a grumpy/sunshine trope. It's an easy read with laugh out loud moments. It’s a cute rom-com that gives you a new perspective on how important friendship of all types are important to have in your life. All of the characters are messy, complex and at totally relatable. Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy.

This was definitely one of those sweet romantic comedy books that doesn’t solely focus on romance. I’ll be honest I did find the beginning a bit slow however things soon got interesting after a few chapters. I felt the author gave quite a realistic view of an a+e nurse’s life through her main character. It was an enjoyable read with some great side characters as well. This book had me laughing, concerned with some of the hospital scenes and angry with a certain few characters. Overall I give this book 3.5 out of 5 stars.

3.75 🌟
I actually really enjoyed this book.
The good:
⭐️ The representation of grief, and how that can affect someone, along with how they process it.
⭐️ Crappy relationship representation. We have all been in a deceitful or mentally abusive relationship at one time or another. If you haven’t, consider yourself lucky. I really enjoyed how Phoebe naturally represented trying to start a new relationship when both parties have had something traumatic happened to them and their most recent relationships. It just felt authentic and something that is easy to identify with.
⭐️ The journey with Will and Tilly from first meeting to the epilogue was really endearing for me, it felt very natural and realistic. It was a slow burn for a good reason, so if that’s your thing, this might be for you. Also, Sarah and Mike or so much fun to get to know, as was crazy Lena, and also her sister and brother-in-law and the devil himself Isaac. It was really cute, I wasn’t expecting till I get so much but I did.
💫 Representation of the struggles with Dyslexia and it can affect someone’s life.
The not so good:
🖤 I had a really hard time with how Luke’s mother brought about. Tilly, confronting him about the messed up that he took. That whole thing seemed a little out of the ordinary for me, it felt a little reaching. This may be something that is typical, but it didn’t read that way to me. I can see how somebody could get really triggered by that or really dislike that line of the plot.
🖤 I did find that the beginning was a little bit of a slough but it really picked up for me when the first plot twist came out. I couldn’t stop reading after that.
All at all, check your trigger warnings, and make sure that this book is for you. I had the incredible opportunity to read the E-ARC of this, so thank you for the opportunity.

I just loved this book! I loved the story and I loved that everything worked out for Tilly as it should have. I loved all the characters in this book especially Tilly’s sister and mother they just don’t have any back doors and they talk about it all even if it embarrasses Tilly. This was an amazing book about family and friendship that are always there for you, with a good ending of how you never know how life will work out for you.
I would highly recommend reading this book if you love a heartwarming read.
I would like to thank Boldwood Books and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book early.

Love, Accidentally by Phoebe MacLeod

As an accident and emergency room nurse, there’s not much that can catch Tilly off guard (not even those kinds of accidents). But when her bachelor flatmate gets a girlfriend and her sister announces she wants another baby, Tilly is surprised to find herself questioning her happily single existence.
Thankfully, the arrival of a new face on the ward offers a welcome distraction. With his lustrous hair, and charming personality, Dr Luke sets hearts racing all across the hospital. But as Tilly and Luke get to know each other better, she starts to wonder if he’s really her McDreamy after all...
Is Tilly being blinded by her determination to find someone? And while she’s looking in Luke's direction, will Tilly miss what’s right in front of her?
My Opinion
Phoebe MacLeod has written a great novel, by the end of the first chapter I knew that I was going to enjoy this book. A fun, interesting read with some great characters. I read this book in a few sittings but it was difficult to put down.
Rating 4/5

Tilly is a senior nurse in an Accident and Emergency department, feeling low she starts a relationship with a new doctor.
I enjoyed the A&E scenes with the mixture of serious cases and silly accidents - I understand that this was a mixture of personal experience and others who work in the area. The first relationship with Dr Luke had me (virtually) shouting at Tilly to watch out, I did enjoy more where she went from there, as a man reading stories set around women I like to relate to the male characters, which sometimes makes me feel very uncomfortable with how they behave. Whether I would call this a romcom is questionable, although there are laugh out loud moments, however there are also some sadder ones and characters struggling with issues, but I find this is often the case. Labels aside this was a book that I did enjoy, keeping my fingers crossed for Tilly all the way through.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

If there is one type of romance I will read no matter what, it is going to be a workplace romance. I will say I really enjoyed the first half of the book in getting to learn about the hospital setting and I do feel like there was a lot of chemistry and romance between Tilly and Luke. I will say the romance sort of lost of the appeal to me throughout the book. It seemed like the characters "fell" for each other really quickly and then that quickly fell off. I did enjoy getting to see the dynamics that occurred between the emergency workers as I always wanted to be a nurse growing up so I really enjoy reading a romance in a hospital setting. I will say that was the best part of the book. Unfortunately, at the end the romance was not believable and I dont know if I think the characters would last forever. I do really like this authors writing, and will continue to look forward to new releases they continue to put out.

Phoebe MacLeod is the author of the book Love, Accidentally. It was a quick read with some bumps in it. I found it a little hard to connect with the characters as I was reading.
I found my mind trying to put it on the same level as Greys Anatomy with it centering on doctors and nurses falling for each other.
I made myself finish the book to see if I could connect the characters with what and why things happened like they did.
Thank you Netgalley, Phoebe MacLeod and Boldwood Books for the copy of Love, Accidentally. This is my personal review.

3 stars!
This was a fun and quick read!
Will definitely be reading more from this author
The NHS aspect and support of this book was my favourite. I love a book based around medicine
Thank you NetGalley for providing this Arc!!

Many thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood for providing me an e-arc in change for a honest review.
Another fab book from Phoebe MacLeod!
I enjoyed this story, this follows Tilly an A&E nurse and her journey to finding love.
The first half of the story follows her relationship with a fellow doctor, I honestly thought that is how the story would end, however after a little twist she ended up with Will, I enjoyed how their relationship slowly developed, nice easy romance read

This book was confusing to me. At one point I had to back out of the book on my kindle to make sure I was still reading the same book, not two separate books that each had a character named Tilly.
I really WANTED to love this one, the premise sounded very intriguing to me, but the book was disjointed and made it hard to follow.

Tilly is an A & E nurse and not much can catch her off guard. So when her flatmate gets a girlfriend and her sister wants another baby, Tiilly questions her single life. Until Dr Luke arrives on her shift but is he all what he seems?
From the first chapter I was laughing so much. Whilst it had a few funny moments there were some serious moments. One scene in particular which put Tilly in an embarrassing situation and I really felt for her. Whilst this was not a complete rom-com but focusing on friendships but also 9n real life situations.

This book could have been 2 separate full books. It was basically 2 different stories, the first half was sort of mysterious insta love and the second half was more of a golden retriever insta love story.
Luke and his family are the absolute worst. This book was redeemed by Will and his father. I wish I couldve read a whole book about Tilly and Will.
Thank you to NetGalley, Phoebe MacLoud and Boldwood books for this ARC!

I will struggle with my review for this one. I enjoyed it but it was almost like 2 halves of a split personality. A bit disjointed. The start of the book had me in stitches being that I am a nurse and it ran true 😂
But the disconnect happens when one relationship ends and another begins. It just feels like a different story and the closure between one wasn't satisfying enough to truly appreciate the second.
This book is closed door with no descriptive scenes, all happen off the page. There is a fair bit of bad language throughout.
I wouldn't read it again but will tell the girls I work with, because the start of the book they will love.

I don’t even know what I was reading 50% in. I had to stop, and think, “I am reading this right?? Is this happening and are these characters justifying this man’s behavior like that?” lol I know I was not the only one. Then after that I couldn’t get into their relationship, Tilly was someone I wanted to really like and Luke???? That’s another story, I loved Tilly’s friends and also her sister, she was soooo funny, and she is a no nonsense woman, I wish Tilly was like that… I love this author though, but this book was not for me.
Thank you Netgalley and the Publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

It is a much slower pace book despite being a short one. Unfortunately it didn’t grab my attention as much as I have hoped and I‘ve been not that enthralled by the narrative. Though I feel it will be perfect for fans of medical romcoms, it’s just not my jam it turns out.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
Tilly is a nurse working in A&E, and everyday she handles so many different situations.
Then, the person she shares a flat with has a new girlfriend and her sister informs her she’d like another baby. Tilly begins to think of being on your own is still a good thing.
A new doctor, Dr Luke, joins the departmen and Tilly likes him, but is he the right person she should be with or is Tilly quick to find a boyfriend?
I liked the characters, some more than others. The story had some funny moments.
I recommend this book.

I really wanted to like this book. It just ended up feeling really disjointed to me with the two different love interests throughout, I also felt like it was a bit of a drag to get through the whole thing.

Tilly is an A and E nurse, who has seen it all. So nothing really surprises her anymore, but when her sister talks about having a second baby and her bachelor roommate is suddenly in a serious relationship, she realises she needs to think about what she wants.
Enter Dr Luke, a handsome, charming new doctor at work, who seems perfect on the outside, but things soon don’t seem to add up. But will Tilly pay attention to all the red flags?
Love, Accidentally I found is almost split into two parts, which at times did make it feel a little disjointed. I did enjoy the idea of the book and there were some great chapters. Ultimately I feel as if this one tried a little too hard to be a romance when it could have been made more reflective. Although still good book, it probably won’t be one I will reread in a hurry.
Thank you Netgalley, Phoebe MacLeod and Boldwood Books for this advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.
