First, I would like to congratulate the author on her first english translated book. It was a sweet romance, albeit an unusual one. I did enjoy the characters and the romance. Nicely done.

This was such a cute time travel romance!! i dont read time travel books very often but i really enjoyed this one! Benjamin is a 19th century duke that was brought to the 2020s where he meets out adorable FMC Isabella who is heartbroken and works as a writer that makes it her mission to help him. The chemistry throughout this book was gorgeous and i loved the choice Ben had on whether he wanted to choose love or his birthright. I will say the way Benjamin adapted very very quickly to modern times and the slang had me a bit confused and kind of pulled me out of the story. but overall it was a fun book!

Falling on a Duke by Stefany Nunes was an absolute whirlwind of passion and drama. The fiery chemistry between Benjamin, the reserved Duke thrown into the modern world, and Isabella, the guarded writer, had me hooked from the start. Their connection felt electric, with plenty of romantic tension and spicy moments that kept the heat turned all the way up. It’s a blend of time-travel intrigue, intense emotions, and swoon-worthy spice that makes for a truly captivating read. If you love romance with depth and steam, you’ll devour this one!

4 stars!

”Our love is impossible,” he tells me, ”but it’s real.”

What a lovely book! Time travel is always interesting. Writer Isabella lives in London and one day while driving a scooter she crashes with a man who is dressed in Regency clothes. Benjamin seems to believe that he is indeed from 19th century. Could that be true?

In this lovely book everything is possible, and everything falls perfectly in place. I really enjoyed this book. It made me smile! Such a sweet and spicy romance story.

This is a fun, steamy time-travel romance with history, intrigue, and a love that defies time! Benjamin, a 19th-century duke, is thrust into the 2020s, where he meets Isabella, a heartbroken writer determined to help him. Their chemistry is undeniable as they unravel the mystery of his time travel, forcing him to choose between duty and love. The twist of the MMC jumping forward in time is refreshing, though Benjamin’s quick acceptance of his situation and his somewhat modern speech make his character feel (very slightly) less authentic. The hospital’s questionable decisions also raise eyebrows, but with spice, drama, and an engaging premise, this is still an enjoyable read for time-travel romance fans!

A sweet romance with some spice to it! I loved the characters (especially Duke the Corgi!). The pacing was good, I managed to finish the book in a day. Definitely a quick and fun read, gave me Bridgerton meets Outlander vibes. I did wish that the Benjamin spoke more like he was from the 1800s, he sounded a bit too modern.

This was a pleasant enough read. I liked the premise of the MMC jumping into the future vs the FMC falling into the past, which is the more common trope.

It didn’t seem to me that Duke spoke like a man from the 1800s and he seemed to accept far too quickly that he time traveled into the 2020s. It also bothered me that the hospital let him leave under the care of the stranger who hit him with a scooter when they were under the impression that he was under a delusion of being from the past.
