I am so obsessed with dark academia and secret society thrillers, so I knew I was going to love this one. I was so obsessed with the atmosphere of this book. It was full of suspense and twists, with a shocking ending that had my jaw on the floor. I know I say this quite a lot, but YA thrillers just hit different. This one reminded me a bit of Win Lose Kill Die by Cynthia Murphy, another YA thriller I absolutely loved. This was a really solid debut, and I cannot wait to see what's in store for Rowana Miller!

I felt this book was a little predictable. I didn't connect to any characters really. Kay was alright but definitely not my favorite. I did finish the book. I did appreciate the authors time and effort. I'm also not a teen so I feel like this one was actually Targeted for more of a teen than a 19 year old and up. I think the author did a fantastic job, I myself just didn't really like it. If your a young adult looking for a good book than yes. This would be for you. However.... Be careful of the blue hand girls.

Ooh this filled the gap in my life caused by PLL and Karen McManus books! This is such a juicy and twisted thriller - all the secrets were brilliant! I loved the pacing and the characters. My cup of tea!
