Double Cross by Stephanie Harte was another excellent book from start to finish. Every book i have read by
Stephanie has been a 5 star read and this one was no different! A superb read. Double Cross is the 3rd book in the Kennedy Twins series, and I have been hooked from the very 1st book within this series. However, this series just gets better with each book.

I highly recommend this series. . . .great holiday binge!

Big thank you to NetGalley and boldwood books for my ARC.

Book Blog Tour - Yaaaay!! It’s my turn for the book blog tour for Stephanie Harte. This is the 3rd book in the Kennedy Twins series. I’m going to hold my hands up and say, this was my favourite one in the series!! Also it was good to find out, why her relationship with her twin and parents are so strained and have been for years. This book proves, that all books do not have to have a happy ending, for them to be brilliant! Berniece is definitely my favourite character- I just lover her. The high boots, tight clothes, high up long ponytail swishing and of course her red Jag!!
Thanks so much to @rachelsrandomresources , @netgalley, @stephanieharteauthor @theboldbookclub #followback #stephanieharte #kennedy #twins #boldwoodbooks

Well this series definitely gets better with each book. Daisy and Lily are caught in their Dad’s problems after a gangster kills him for not paying his debts and then passes them on to the twins. The twins have never really got on well since they were young and their Dad always favoured Lily. Until now Daisy never knew why but she’s shocked when she finds out the answer. Follow the fast paced ups and downs of the girls life in this series.

Twins Daisy and Lily Kennedy are back. When Daisy risked all to save Lily from the gangland kidnappers she thought they would be closer together, but Lily blames her for the whole thing.
When Daisy is then kidnapped herself and forced into prostitution to pay off her father’s debts she knows Lily will save her or will she?
Brilliantly written with some surprising twists and turns.

Another good read from the author in the gangland thriller genre. Family loyalty and sibling rivalry between the twins Lily and Daisy, leads to another exciting, gritty and fast paced story which I am sure fans of the genre will really enjoy. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

I love gangland crime, even though I generally don't like gory scenes in films at all — but in books, I can handle them much better. Usually, these types of stories focus on one or more families, and we’re treated to all kinds of ruthless actions by these people. In this series, we actually see things from the other side. I feel like there’s more focus here on the victims who have to deal with all sorts of shady characters. It’s not so much about families this time, but more about individual gangsters and their entourages.

It’s fun to view everything from the other side for once and to see that ‘ordinary’ people can also hold their own, even if they lower themselves to the level of the criminals and are equally merciless in their pursuit of revenge.

Twins are generally very close. I don’t know what happened in the previous book, but now the sisters are completely at odds with each other. There’s little to no sign of love or a bond between them.

The author has a super smooth writing style, and I had no problem vividly imagining everything that happened. What I also found special — and something I haven’t come across in other gangland books — was the large dose of humor that was woven into the story. A big smile often appeared on my face.

On the other hand, my heart broke multiple times over the unfair way Daisy was treated and betrayed and abandoned by her family. Luckily, she had a few people who supported her through thick and thin.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book in all its aspects. I thought it was well worth a solid 4.5 stars.

Thank you.

This latest instalment of the gangland thriller focusing on the Kennedy twins, Daisy and Lily, is absolutely brilliant! After Daisy rescues Lily from a ruthless gang she is hopeful that it will go some way to healing their fragile relationship. However Lily sees things very differently and sides with their mother who has always favoured Lily. When the unthinkable happens and Daisy is then kidnapped she can only hope that blood is thicker than water and Lily will do all she can to rescue her. With a storyline with plenty of twists and turns weaved through it this kept me totally hooked. Gripping, gritty and with some really interesting characters this is gangland writing at its best. I highly recommend reading this! Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

Another fantastic addition to twins Lily and Daisys story when they lose their dad after he was viciously attacked, by Warren to whom he owed alot of money, that debt passes to Daisy &Lily. When Daisy meets up witb her moms longest childhood friend Colleen, she is told some shocking truths. What??
Mckenzie has been tortured but managed to escape but he isn't doing g so well . When Warren bundles Daisy into his range rover, he informs her of what her life will be like going forward. Daisy is defiant... . But will Warren break her spirit,? Or will Bernice and Mckenzie come to the rescue? This was brilliant....... I do hope there are more books to come in this series?? It's gritty. .highly recommend

Thank you to Net Galley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book and found it easy to follow despite it being in a series. I haven't read any of the other books in the series so I may have to go back and read the rest to gain the context I don't have. The book delivers as promised in the blurb. I liked the way the story was structured with a different perspective in each chapter. This made it a lot easier to follow as I find it very jarring when perspectives change within the same chapter without warning. The plot is intense from the beginning and sets up a good pace for the rest of the book. I couldn't put it down as I had to know what was going to happen. The prose is strong and I highlighted a number of extracts within the chapters. My only issue with this book is the character voice fails to be distinct for each character as the chapters go from one to the other. Everyone seems to sound similar and I found myself needing to flip back to the chapter header so I could remember who I was reading. There is also a lot of repetition and since it's part of series I feel like I have missed a lot of the vital context, particularly with the references to the kidnapping. Despite this it's still a good story that I would recommend to fans of Heather Burnside and Kimberly Chambers.

Daisy and Lily are the Kennedy twins and the feud between the sisters should have been settled when Daisy rescued Lily from a gangster. When tragedy strikes Daisy is betrayed by Lily and there is no coming back. The plot has violence and action that kept me enthralled. So much that I read the entire book in a day. The characters develop well and in this book I became a major fan of Daisy and I started to despise Lily. As truths are revealed alliances change making me anticipate a new book in the future. It's gripping gangland is well played.

Another great read in this series. I would recommend that this is not read as a stand alone book as it has far too much history to just pick up. The series itself is fantastic with plenty of nasty characters and wrongdoings!

Loyalty means everything.
Book three Daisy and Lily the Kennedy Twins are back.
Sibling rivalry has never been deadlier.
Loving this gangland thriller series, this is the best so far.
So fast pace as the twins are faced with a notorious gang.
Can Daisy and Lily mend their relationship, blood is thicker than water even if your family double cross you.
What a book what a story.
Loved it

The feud between Daisy and Lily should have been settled but when Daisy makes a decision to protect Lily it goes all wrong and the wedge between them is greater than ever and when Daisy needs her most Lily makes a choice that there will be no coming back from.
I'm totally hooked on this series, and this 3rd book is just as gritty, violent, and exciting as the first 2.
Great from start till finish with good dynamics and well developed characters made this a one day read for me that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Stephanie Harte is a brilliant writer of gangland crime thrillers and gets better with each book.
Thanks to Netgalley and Boldwood Books for the Arc.
