This was a cute little edition for book club, very happy with these little prompts. Happy to have these in the club and will be using them to review the books requested.

This book kit is brilliant. I actually struggled to finish the book itself, because of POV issues. But the book kit has everything I ever wanted an author or publisher to send me as a blogging book reviewer. I don’t have a book review blog right now, because mine kept getting hacked. 🙄. If someone could solve that problem for book reviewers, I, for one, would be grateful. At this time, I only have Twitter and Goodreads. In any case, this kit seems very complete for a book club and fantastic for any book blogger. The interview, the games, and the recipes were all things I would use on my blog, if I still had one. The book marks are great too, that and a free ebook giveaway would be just perfect. I could totally see us laughing and eating cheesecake over this kit.

Beautifully done! I have never seen a book club kit before and this seemed like the perfect book to start with. I would love to have friends read this book then we can have a fully immersive meeting with cheesecake and drinks! I greatly appreciate the links to non-alcoholic versions of the drinks as I have friends and family in recovery. I cannot think of anything that I would want to add to this kit, it is great!

As a longtime Golden Girls fan, I couldn’t resist diving into Murder by Cheesecake. The concept alone—Dorothy and the gang solving a murder involving cheesecake? Yes, please.

The author does a great job capturing the voice and charm of each character. Dorothy’s sarcasm, Rose’s rambling stories about St. Olaf, Blanche’s flirtiness, and Sophia’s one-liners all felt spot-on and brought a big dose of nostalgic joy. I found myself smiling more often than not, especially in the dialogue-heavy scenes.

The mystery itself was light and quirky, which fits the tone of the book, but the pacing dragged in the middle. Still, I appreciated the nods to classic mystery tropes, and the final reveal had a fun twist.

This is definitely a read for fans of the show—it plays to that audience with love and plenty of inside jokes. If you're looking for a deep mystery, this might not hit the mark. But if you're here for a cozy, clever return to Miami with our four fabulous ladies? You’ll enjoy the ride.
