Such a nice little devotional - the author did a great job at conveying the love and peace God has to offer. It was easy to do a daily devotional from this book. The illustrations are eye catching and entertaining. Thank you Netgalley, Donna K. Maltese and Barbour Books and Publishing for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This devotional helped me connect each morning with God. A great way to start the day. I felt grateful and more at peace when I started with a devotional. The devotional wasn’t long but it was just enough!

These devotional are bite sized and short, so they're perfect for when you don't want a longer devotional.
The writing is beautiful and it's full of helpful quotes, but I personally struggled to connect with the devotionals.
I felt some of the verses and stories are taken out of context for a certain point to be made which bothered me. One of the early scriptures for example, using 2 Chroncicles 20 to make the point that "the way to remove mountains is the way of Praise." feels very reductionist. Although choosing to praise God in every circumstance is right, there are some mountains that might not be moved until we see Jesus face to face.

All in all, some people might really connect with the short devotionals that focus on your walk with the Lord. Unfortunately this wasn't for me.

This book of devotions and prayers helped so much! I am quite an anxious person and I loved having something to come back to bring me back to Gods presence and out of my worries!

Devotionals to see us through days of stress, anxiety and turbulence. Although the texts tend to be repetitive after a while, the desired tenderness and quietness come through the pages. My only 'serious' qualm is the translation of the Old and New Testament extracts. It would have been better for the editor to use the King James Edition because certain parts 'sound' extremely odd and modernised.

Many thanks to Barbour Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoy reading a daily devotional like this one to ground myself in scripture and God’s presence. These devotional entries were short and impactful, perfect for daily reading. Life can be busy and distracting, but it was nice to be encouraged to return to the peace we receive from God.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.
