It's a DNF for me. I really tried; I struggled(!) through 227 of 256 pages (88%) and just didn't care enough to finish. I don't really know how my students would feel about it, but for me, it was too derivative, and I didn't care about the characters. I felt relived when I deleted the book from my device, so it couldn't keep taunting me.
