Narwhal and Jelly books are beloved in our home - my children love to read and also listen to the audiobooks and will laugh out loud as they go. This book was no different. We read it quickly and again and again.

A Waffle Lot of Love! (A Narwhal and Jelly Book #10) is as intense as it is lovable. The strong use of colour and different font size to show inflection made this a wonderful book to enjoy with my five year old.
She enjoyed all the puns and bye byes, and also would say "WHAT" when Narwhal would leave *again* but she really liked it, and I could see it being a fun book to enjoy over and over.
My eight year old also enjoyed reading it himself, and would often laugh out loud while showing his sister the part. All around a good book for families that need some silly time.

Narwhal and Jelly are the best of friends, and despite their differences, they care deeply about one another. Palentine’s Day has finally arrived, and Narwhal wants to make the day extra special for Jelly. From kind words to lavish expressions of affection, Narwhal creates ever more detailed gifts to show Jelly how much they care. But as the day wears on and the two companions spend very little time together, Jelly decides that a shift in perspective will make it the best Palentine’s Day ever. This tenth in the Narwhal and Jelly series mirrors the design and delivery of the companion stories. Designed as a graphic novel, the plot unfolds primarily through word bubbles and imagery in thoughtfully crafted scenes. The illustrations alternate between the recognizable imagery from the series and hand-drawn creations by both Narwhal and Jelly, giving the book a dynamic and engaging visual quality. Though Narwhal and Jelly are the primary protagonists of the narrative, several familiar faces from previous installments appear within the book, as well. Brief lines of dialogue form the bulk of the story, making this graphic novel well suited to young children who are becoming increasingly independent readers. Additionally, an aside featuring factual information about real life symbiotic relationships is included, reinforcing the truth behind this fictional tale. Entertaining and accessible, this reflection of friendship is a positive addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series and to library collections for young elementary school-aged readers, as well.

We love Narwhal and Jelly at my house and this book is just as great. My daughter loved reading it with me and keeps talking and making jokes about it. If you have a child who loves these books I highly recommend you buy this and read it.

Narwhal and Jelly have a great adventure filled with Valentines and waffles. Silly with fun, colorful illustrations this is a book that kids will love.

Another cute installment in the Narwhal and Jelly series. Very sweet, humorous and fun with valuable lessons on friendship for young readers. I would buy this for my school library and my own children without reservation. Ben Clanton has written another gem for kids! Love it.

This was not my favorite book in the Narwhal and Jelly series, but it is a good portrayal of how we all have different ways of showing love and friendship and in wanting to receive it. Narwhal was a little crazy and all over the place in this, but he learned that Jelly needs TIME with him, not a bunch of fluff and paraphernalia. A reminder that all of us need, actually!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Five Stars from a parent & five stars from a 3rd grader!
Narwhal and Jelly is an easy to follow graphic novel series. My kids & I start reading these together from the time they start reading. We were VERY excited to get this ARC! (Like my son CHEERED when I told him) Thank you NetGalley, Tundra Books, and Ben Clanton for this Advanced Copy.
Both my son and I read this book and we loved continuing the adventure of Narwhal and Jelly! The puns, the rhymes, and the fun adventures are always my favorite about these books. A fin-tastic read!!

This book is so fun and sweet! Great for young readers who love graphic style novels but also great for the younger early readers too. Super exciting, silly and cute illustrations and full of puns that my family personally loves. Super cute!

Another solid entry in the Narwhal and Jelly series. Jelly wants to hang out with Narwhal, but Narwhal is so excited to tell Jelly all the reasons that he loves him (and their friendship) that he's not being present for it. I think there's a lesson in there for all of us.

I won't waffle about it; this graphic novel is great! This Narwhal and Jelly story is all kinds of silly with just a little science thrown in two. Older readers will love all the oceanic puns but even preschoolers can appreciate the story. When the two unlikely friends celebrate "Palentine's" Day, Narwhal overwhelms his friend with a variety of gifts to show how much he appreciates his best friend. But Jelly just wants to go on an adventure with his best buddy. I loved how this story emphasizes that time spent together is more important than material goods. This graphic novel is aimed at six to nine year old kids, but I shared it with a three year old who loved it!

My kiddos love the A Narwhal and Jelly books! They could read them on repeat everyday if I let them. I had my grade 4s take a look at this newest book and see if they thought it would be a good pick for our K/1 buddy class. Overwhelmingly they adored it. They especially enjoy reading it with a partner so they can pick rolls and read with fun voices. This series is wonderful for any kiddo who is just getting reading, especially if they have a grownup to sit and read with!

Narwhal and Jelly deliver again! Love this cute little book about love. I enjoy that, on top of the fun stories, Ben Clanton also includes interesting facts about sea life. A Waffle Lot of Love is a cute, entertaining read for you and your little one.

Happy 10th Narwhal and Jelly book! Book 10 didn't disappoint as usual and boosted my mood greatly as I was reading. The story was as pleasant of a read as it was a visual treat. I really enjoy Clanton's art style. Narwhal and Jelly are friendship goals. 100% fact. I liked how through this dynamic, iconic duo Clanton depicted the true meaning of friendship and how to be a friend in such fun, loving, carefree, and appreciative ways. Great story!
Thanks again Tundra Books and NetGalley for the e-ARC to read in exchange for an honest review!

Another super cute Narwhal and Jelly adventure! My daughter and I love these books and this was another fun one to read together. This was a cute one about friendship and as always, Narwhal gets into silly antics. Can't wait to add it to our collection!

Narwhal is very frenetic in this book, but I am glad he has Jelly to be the calming presence and remind him of what is important. This was a great story about friendship and I even learned about some symbiotic relationships that I didn't know existed.
Looking forward to reading more of Narwhal and Jelly's adventures in the future.

My 7-year-old daughter and I absolutely loved A Waffle Lot of Love! Narwhal had us both giggling nonstop with his silly sayings—he’s definitely my daughter’s favorite, and this book just added to the fun. Another amazing addition to the Narwhal and Jelly series that’s full of heart, humor, and waffles! 🧇💛

I read this with my daughter and we both loved it. Narwhal and Jelly are as always funny and cute. This is a wonderful addition to the series. I love the concept of Narwhal and Jelly celebrating their friendship. Getting to know different sea creatures with the fun facts is always a great addition.
