This book was SO perfect for the era I am currently in. I have been trying to facilitate calm and I found the format to be engaging and because it was written for a 90 day timeline it felt digestible.

The title says it all. This book definitely helped me realize to be in my calm era. There were so many insightful tips and mechanisms to help manage your thoughts and emotions. I learned a lot with how to direct my energy. I loved this book and highly recommend.

A very cute book with great advice! The pages are short and simple, absolutely love the colors and felt like it really helped me to understand how to relax more and manage my stress.

This is a such a nice book to flip through and remind myself to take a beat. I saved quite a few screenshots as reminders to meditate when things get hard! Thank you for the sneak peek.

I really enjoyed this journey to calm! Each day has a 1-page write-up, an affirmation, and an activity to try. Most of the activities are very short and require very little prep work, so they feel easy to achieve! Even though I read this book digitally, I could definitely see wanting a physical copy, and maybe even buying it as a gift for friends as well.

I really quite like this ebook. It has short, bite sized chapters with useful suggestions and exercises for living a more calm life. The illustrations are cute, too!

I am someone who needs something tangible in my hands to work with. Especially when blank journal writing isn’t cutting it. In my Calm Era is exactly that, when I’m working on myself and letting go, my Calm Era requires intention and boundaries. It is harder to do in ebook format and being able to print or buy the print edition would make the difference. It is a good reminder for those of us who are burnt out and need a little push or reminder without being overwhelmed by all the options out there.

This was an incredible read, and an amazing reminder that it is always possible to find calm in your life! This book is intended to be a 90-day stress reset, with a short message about managing stress, a short stress-relieving exercise, and an affirmation for every day which I loved. I admit I read this book in under 90 days, because I often wanted to do more than 1 exercise for stress-relieving per day, but I find myself wanting to go back and read it again the way it was intended. Each activity reminded me to connect in with myself, and I loved keeping track of my favorite exercises/affirmations in a journal while reading. This work is unique in that it not only taught stress management exercises such as box breathing and meditation, but it also involved teaching about the roots of stress and anxiety, highlighting its beneficial aspects and also the drawbacks of too much stress. Stress and burnout are a large part of the field of work I am in, and I will definitely read this book again and go back to my bookmarks and highlights! I would also recommend this book to my co-workers, friends, and family because of how beneficial I found the exercises and affirmations within it. I enjoy books on personal development, but I would not have chosen this book by its' cover. I'm so glad that I opened my mind to a new way of approaching self-reflection.

The format of the exercises is simple and accessible, and I quickly found myself looking forward to a different daily prompt during an unexpectedly overwhelming and frazzled summer. The affirmations did not resonate with me, but they're well-formatted and nice to flip through after long hard days or to copy into your agenda or journal.

This book supports a sweet little routine that I would consider continuing long after I've completed it.

This book contains 90 skills that do help you to incorporate calm within your life. It is a less structured approach as the strategies don’t normally meld together in a logical way, but it will give you techniques and coping skills to reduce stress. For me, it did fall a little flat because many of the skills are ones I already knew or incorporated regularly.

I think this book is best for people who haven’t attended therapy or are lacking in the coping skills needed to attend to stressful situations. I really enjoyed the daily affirmations and quick calming activities.

I do wish this book had a companion journal or included journal prompts as I think it would’ve helped elevate the book and allowed me to more specifically apply the strategies outlined.

Overall, it’s worth a read. But it’s not a blow you away and change your life self help book.

Absolutely loved the simplicity of this book! The affirmations and breakdown of each daily task was to the point and relevant. Would highly recommend this book to anyone seeking a little guided help in life wrapped up in a beautifully written book.

I really liked the layout of this book. It eas simple, to the point, and didn’t try to drag anything out with unnecessary verbiage and overwhelming layouts.

I also really enjoyed that the tips and tricks weren't repetitive and instead gave a variety of ways to help reduce anxiety and induce calmness without being too difficult.

There were quite a lot of techniques and tips that I had never heard of or seen before that I'm quite excited to try out!

I read this as a NetGalley ARC, but I will probably try and get a physical copy of the book so I can truly do the 90 days one day at a time. Looking forward to helping keep myself calmer!

In My Calm Era is a solid, helpful book with a calm and comforting tone. The prompts are simple and approachable, making it a good option for anyone dealing with anxiety or looking to create more mindful moments in their day. It doesn’t offer anything especially new if you’ve already spent time with similar wellness tools, but it’s thoughtfully put together and could be a useful resource for building small, steady habits around self-care.
