I was looking forward to this one because I loved Chris Whipple's book The Gatekeepers, which I found to be very well researched and presented. This book was a disappointment. It did not really have any new insights, just a rehashing of prior reporting and it also included alot of quoted passages from other works. The narrator was also not particularly engaging. Among the recent spate of books about the last election, there are other better options.

Uncharted examines the 2024 presidential election - what caused Biden to drop out of the race, what worked (and didn’t) for both Trump and Harris, and the infighting and strategic moves in each campaign. The behind the scenes tactics by both campaigns will keep the listener entertained the entire time. My only criticism would be - ditch all the information about the 2016 and 2020 campaigns. What readers really want to hear is what caused Biden to drop out of the race, who was behind it, and who knew what and when did they know it.

Uncharted is a juicy, well researched expose on the 2024 election. I absolutely loved it and will be recommending it!
