Adorable book, with a great graphics, that managed to have my daughter use her screen time to re-read it!

This book is a fun, quick read, and it contains a sweet message that kids can actually understand. Nafu is the village protector, and in return, he gets all the food he wants. One day he goes a bit overboard. His journey is a blend of both silliness and thoughtfulness, as he, along with the villagers, learns some important lessons about giving back and not taking beyond what you need. You explore the consequences of greed, which is an important life lesson for children.
It’s great for reading together with kids!
Thanks to the publisher Lerner Publishing Group for providing me with an ARC of 'Nafu Wants Food' in accordance with NetGalley.

Bosa's approach to storytelling and illustration suggests that the book will be engaging and thoughtfully crafted. His emphasis on character development and the exploration of deeper themes through whimsical narratives indicates that Nafu Wants Food will offer both entertainment and meaningful messages for young readers.

Nafu Wants Food is a book that I requested due to looking for books for my nieces to read. I thought it would be a fun book for us to read together and it was, plus it also taught the importance of giving back to others.

Nafu Wants Food was a title that my five-year-old picked out by the cover and honestly, I am blown away by the message in it. I feel like it’s easy for kids to understand and teaches about giving back which is so important. The illustrations were really great and we loved the way the story was structured as a comic. The story is long enough to split up into a couple different sittings or for one long bedtime story. Either way your child will be entertained the entire time. This was excellent!

Nafu is the village protector, in exchange for getting all the food he can eat. Unfortunately, Nafu takes advantage of the villagers and gets too greedy, which ends up with him leaving the village looking for more food.
Nafu was pretty silly but the lessons he and the villagers ended up learning were serious. This was a fun story where the characters learn about themselves and do better.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
