Secret Refuge was a good read. The writing was very well done and even though this is the second book in the "Wings of Danger" series, I didn't feel like I needed to have read book one first.

I liked the characters and thought the mystery of trying to figure out what had happened was good…although I will say that I found the villain(s) easy to guess and wasn't <u>really</u> surprised by anything.

All in all, Secret Refuge was a nice story and one I recommend if you are in the mood for a good suspenseful read.
