Useful and informative guide to assist in making healthier decisions.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

One of the first books I’ve read partially written by AI. Whilst the author was honest that he used AI, I feel that out of respect to other authors who do/have done all of their own work, in these cases that the author should disclose the percentage of the book that was written in AI in the spirit of total transparency.
Seemed to repeat itself a lot in regards to using ChatGPT and AI especially. Whilst these can be useful tools, for sure, I think an overuse of anything, including these, can be unhealthy. And it felt at times like an unhealthy amount of use of them was being encouraged.
I did like that he included that BMI isn’t always accurate as it can’t distinguish muscle mass from fat, and suggested better alternatives. For instance, my personal trainer weighs (from what she shared recently on social media) approx 156 lbs, which for her height would put her in the “overweight” class. However, if you see her in person, you can easily notice she’s healthily muscular and there isn’t an ounce (from outward appearances at least) of unhealthy fat on her body.
Also the recommended amounts of fibre etc didn’t seem to include pregnant/breastfeeding women and adjusting their intake for those lifestyle changes.
Otherwise it was detailed and did offer great instructions to be your healthiest and best self.
Thank you so much NetGalley for the free ARC.

Thank you NetGalley for this arc!!
This was a very insightful book, packed full of information and knowledge.

Thanks to NetGalley for offering me the opportunity to review this book as an electronic ARC.
This book has solid advice (lift weights, do cardio, eat real food, get sleep, don't smoke), but the execution left me underwhelmed. The title is overly long, and I was immediately put off by the branding of everything as “Holmanfit” and the jabs at “Big Pharma.” Yes, our health systems and food industries are flawed, but reducing complex issues to villains and slogans isn’t helpful (and I say this as someone who just read David Kessler’s far more nuanced "Diet, Drugs, and Dopamine").
I came in expecting practical, hands-on guidance about integrating AI into fitness and health planning. Instead, it felt more like a surface-level encyclopedia, heavy on stats and familiar critiques of modern lifestyles. The AI portion is there, but mostly in the form of vague prompts for using tools like ChatGPT. There’s no mention of AI limitations or hallucinations, which is a big oversight for a book with “AI” in the title. Plus, there are frameworks such as "Tree of Thoughts" that can greatly benefit someone writing prompts, and there is no mention of them in this book.
That said, this book might be a helpful starting point for beginners who are curious about using generative AI in their health journey. It reinforces sensible habits (eat real food, move daily, hydrate, rest), just don’t expect deep science or cutting-edge AI insights.
It’s available on Kindle Unlimited if you're a KU member.
