Dragon Fires Everywhere by Hazel Beck completely pulled me into its world. The story is thrilling and full of action, with dragons and magic that feel both epic and vividly real. I loved how the characters are brave yet flawed, making their journey exciting and relatable. It’s the kind of book I couldn’t put down and kept thinking about long after the last page.

A solid end to the series! I enjoyed the research aspect of this book a lot. I'm not super sold on Georgie and Azeael's whole fated thing, but it was pulled off fairly well. The climax felt slightly abrupt, but all the loose threads did get resolved. Can't complain and it certainly won't stop me from recommending the series as a whole.

This was quick and fun, a very easy read.

This feels like a cozy cross between When the Moon Hatched or Dragonfall and Practical Magic.

When I started reading this, I did not realize that it was the fourth in a series, but I really didn't feel lost at all. I caught up quickly and everything I needed to know was presented to me.

This is a very cozy dragon shifter romance (that also includes some witchy magic) and is set in a cozy little small town that feels reminiscent of Practical Magic or the Gilmore Girls.

I did find certain elements of this book to feel a bit flat, specifically the plot. I just wanted a little more oomph from that. I wanted some higher stakes and more action. Overall, I felt like the characters were well done, I just didn't love them. But that is totally a personal preference.

And this is a VERY appropriate time of year to read this book (very autumnal).

Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review! My Goodreads review is up and my TikTok (Zoe_Lipman) review will be up at the end of the month with my monthly reading wrap-up.

This book was so much fun to read with an epic conclusion perfect for fall. It’s action packed with lots of great emotion and conflict. Not only is this book well written but the plot is weaved together tightly and perfectly for a phenomenal story!
Georgie comes home to find her boyfriend in a compromising position and finds herself feeling like the odd woman out without a mate. She goes home to an open kids book that she lent to her friend Emerson who is having a baby. The fun begins here! The dragon shifter that’s freed is a complicated soul that she just might be liking a little too much. It’s a tangled web of lies and strength to hold onto their coven and finally beat the Joy wood once and for all. What an amazing series! I highly recommend! I received this book from Harlequin Trade Publishing and Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I was so excited to receive an advanced copy of the newest Witchlore novel! I absolutely adore the magical town of St. Cyprian and the Riverwood coven, and I loved getting the chance to see Georgie really come into her own within the group and to meet her dragon, Pete.. I mean Azrael. 🤣 The addition of the fabulae in this one really added to the magic and I loved it so much. Sad to see this series end but looking forward to what's next from Hazel Beck!

It took me a long time to sit down and write my review for this book because in doing so it felt like closing a chapter on characters who have become my friends over the last few years. This series was one that thrust me back into the wonderful world of reading and I am forever grateful for Hazel Beck for their creation of this immersive world.
Dragon Fires Everywhere is a fitting end to the Riverwood Coven and much like our esteemed historian Georgie the book was more than meets the eye. This book is a love story, not just about romantic love but also love between friends and about loving yourself too. Georgie embodies what it means to refuse to accept less than you deserve from friends, family, partners and society as a whole. She subverts expectations and proves everyone that she is a valuable member of the Riverwood Coven that is integral to their success and ascension. I am so glad she finally found romance that she deserves and someone who will treat her right, but even more glad that’s not the only thing that she draws her self worth from. The conclusion puts it best, “we’re all worthy of fairy-tale endings, happily ever afters… and it’s up to you to pick up your sword and fight for your own heart.”
I would happily read this book (and the entire series) over again and again because of how delightful this world and these characters are. I have recommended this series to several friends and colleagues as one of my favorite stories and I will continue to do so in the future.
Thank you to Hazel Beck for creating this world and the opportunity to review this ARC! Thank you to the team at Harlequin Trade Publishing / Graydon House for the ability to read and review this ARC!

I was given Dragon Fires Everywhere by Hazel Beck in exchange for my honest review from the publisher and NetGalley.

First off, I love this series! And this is an excellent addition to Witchlore series.

This is Georgie's story as the she navigates life as a historian with the Riverwood Coven. Georgie comes into her own in this book as she meets a dragon shifter who changes her views on fairytale endings.

A fun, adventure filled read that is great to add to your reading list for autumn.

What an incredibly wonderful conclusion to Hazel Beck's Witchlore series--I couldn't have asked for a better, more addictive read. Having written that, I must encourage anyone reading this review to start this exceptionally well-written and brilliantly conceived series from the beginning, because the relationships between members of the Riverwood coven won't make much sense to you if you start reading it at the end of this series, nor will their dislike and fear of the members of the Joywood coven make much sense to you either.

The central character in this novel is Georgina Pendell, the Historian of the Riverwood coven, who's never really felt as if she truly fit in or belonged with either her mother, a rather harsh, demanding and judgmental woman, or even her closest friends, the Wilde sisters, witches all, even including her best friend. She always expected to marry Sage, until she finds him cheating with someone else's wife, just after she's returned from a lengthy world search to find 8 magical keys, essential for the Riverwood coven's upcoming ascension over the Joywood coven, who've been the ruling coven for so long no one even knows when they ascended.

Georgie is shocked but not really hurt by Sage's affair, which ends their relationship, and she ends up back at Wilde house, wondering what to do with the rest of her life. The Wilde sisters have all been paired off with their men in the 3 previous novels--another reason to start at the beginning

Georgie has always been a dreamer and a lover of fairytales, and has often found herself in the Wilde house, talking to the dragon newel post at the bottom of the stairs. After dumping Sage, she heads back to Wilde House and finds her favorite fairytale sitting at the bottom of those stairs. It often magically appears and magically changes too, and she starts to read it aloud--imagine her surprise when that newel post she's been talking to for years suddenly morphs into an actual, huge, fire-breathing dragon, a creature long thought by witches to have either never really existed or else been long extinct. His name is Azrael and he's been cursed and trapped inside that newel post for over a century, and he can morph into human form at will, and that's just for starters. To tell you more would totally spoil this novel for you, but I will tell you that there are so many more twists and turns to come, so many white magical and black magical moments to come, that this novel will have you reading long into the night. It's truly a gem, as is the entire series.

While I usually don't read fantasy or fantasy romance novels, this series had me hooked from the very start. It's beautifully written and so well imagined that with each and every novel, I've felt as if should I somehow find myself in the magical town of St. Cyprian, the center of the witching world, I'd have no trouble navigating it's streets, visiting it's many shops, or bumping into one or more of Ms. Beck's wonderfully described characters. There's isn't a thing about this novel and this entire series that I didn't absolutely love, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this novel, which will be released on September 23, 2025. The opinions stated are my own.

This entire series has been a delight, and I'm so glad that every book in the series has managed to maintain the charm. Georgie's story was the perfect conclusion to the group's saga, and possibly the most magical of the four.

As someone who’s followed the Witchlore series from the start, Dragon Fires Everywhere is a fiery, satisfying payoff. Georgie’s arc—finally stepping into her power as Historian—feels earned, and her chemistry with Azrael, the dragon shifter she accidentally unleashes, is pure slow-burn magic. Hazel Beck continues to deliver on the series’ signature blend of witchy worldbuilding, found family, and emotional depth, while raising the stakes with ancient secrets and Joywood’s lingering threat. This installment leans harder into fantasy romance, and it works. The series sticks the landing.

This is my first book by this author, way out of order, but I still really enjoyed it! I don't know how much of a difference it would have made for me to read the other 3 books first but I feel like I still was able to catch the idea of everything well. I will definitely be going back and reading them all!

This is the perfect cozy, witchy read for fall. It also is filled with a good amount of drama to keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat wondering what is coming next. Georgie was so strong and it was fun to watch her find herself throughout this story. She sticks to what she believes and wants to be able to save her town from the dark magic that is threatening them all. I was never bored throughout this whole story which is always a joy. The closeness of this coven and the family they have created was so heartwarming. This one is definitely a must read for those who like fantasy, witches, and mythical creatures.

Thank you so much Netgalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the advanced copy of this book!

"When a witch plays with fire, she might just ignite a love that can't be extinguished...

Newly-minted Historian of the soon-to-be-ascended Riverwood Coven Georgie Pendell has always played her part - so why does she feel like an outsider in her own life? Duped and dumped by her boyfriend, Georgie finds herself dismissing love as a fairytale. But when the words she reads aloud from an enchanted storybook free a dragon shifter, everything changes.

Georgie finds herself drawn to the dragon in ways she didn't think were even possible for her, and her dragon, with his fiery golden gaze, all but claims Georgie as his own. But beneath his scorching intensity lies a secret, one that stretches back into the ancient past.

With the Joywood Coven still finding ways to upend the new order of the witching world, Georgie and her coven will need to prove themselves up to the task of being in charge, and right the wrongs their predecessors committed - if they can uncover the truth. Because something is missing. Something that will stop the Joywood once and for all. Something that only a Historian and an ancient dragon can find."

All the best men, er, dragon shifters, comes from books right?

This is the fourth book in this series, and once again, the narrator has changed. We now follow along as Georgie, the historian of the friend group, returns home early to find that her boyfriend has been unfaithful. While sitting in Wilde house next to the dragon statue on the stairs, she reads from her childhood fairytale book with distain for Sage, and the unthinkable happens! The once statue transforms into an actual dragon right before her eyes then takes human form. I do not wish to reveal too much about this amazing story, but I will say I believe this is the best book so far in this incredibly magic and heartfelt series! I absolutely love Georgie's character and the love story that unfolds. I am not one who enjoys dragon shifters, but this book definitely changed that. Throughout not only is there a romance for the ages but the Riverwood find out that the Joywood have alot to do with why no one is aware throughout witch society that magical creatures exist such as dragons and so much more. I highly recommend this read! It is definitely a fairytale that one can lose themselves in and wish one could join this amazing community. I was able to listen to the audiobook as well, and as for the narrator, it was perfect! I loved how the voices were exactly what I would have imagined for the characters!

I started reading this book without realizing that it was the fourth and final book in a series. While I'm happy to report that it can be read as a standalone with little to no confusion because the authors quickly recap major events that have happened previously in such a way that nothing in book 4 was confusing for me. I will say that I'm sure I missed little details that would have been woven in from previous books in the series, so now I plan to go read books 1-3 and then come back to enjoy Dragon Fires Everywhere a second time.

This book was super enjoyable to me. It's fantasy/romantasy but it's also got a wholesome vibe that was so fun. The book had high stakes moments in it, but it just felt so cozy and easy to read that I didn't want to put it down. The banter between the characters was a lot of fun to read. Georgie was a character that easy to relate to. Azrael the dragon had one of the best written 'dragon voices' I've ever read, and I'm not sure how to describe what I mean by that. His dialog was EXACTLY what I would expect if a nearly unkillable creature that had lived for thousands of years had to deal with mortal young adults. It was just perfect. The romantic tension between these two was on point, and the scenes between the two of them were my favorite parts of the book.

This series is perfect for readers looking for a romantasy novel that is not too heavy or high tension. The cast of characters in this book is one that I would happily keep reading stories about over and over again.

Thank you to NetGalley, Harlequin Trade Publishing/Graydon House, and Hazel Beck for providing me with an eARC of this novel for review.

Dragon Fires Everywhere is a delightful fantasy romance from Hazel Beck.

Full disclosure: I did not know that this was the fourth book in Beck’s Witchlore series. I thought her books were more of an interconnected series of standalones, but actually this is the thrilling conclusion to the challenges she’s built for her characters across the series.

I do think the book does a great job of explaining what came before, but I’m sure there are nuances that I missed not having read the previous books!

I would definitely recommend this series if you love a fantasy romance that comes with cozy vibes and swoony romance while still delivering the high stakes of an epic urban fantasy.

Dragon Fires Everywhere focuses on the Riverwood Coven’s Historian, someone who’s trying to settle for a normal life even when her heart yearns for something more. Well, spoiler alert, the something more might just have to do with a handsome dragon shifter and their deep connection of epic proportions.

I loved the romance up until a certain point, and then something changed that made me not really enjoy it – although what happened is a pretty common trope, it just isn’t for me. But right around then the actual fantasy plot really picked up and so I kept enjoying the book regardless.

I don’t want to give spoilers, but I think if you’ve been following the series that this will be a really satisfying conclusion. Beck wraps up lots of different storylines and character arcs. There’s tension and action and high stakes, and everything play out in an exciting and satisfying way.

Dragon Fires Everywhere publishes September 23, so there’s plenty of time for you to catch up on the whole series and then snag this book on publication.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for this ARC! This is the 4th book of Hazel Beck's Witchlore series. After previously reading and enjoying book 3, I was glad to find I enjoyed this one just as much! This was a 3.5 rating for me that I'll round up to 4/5. The book was a light and easy read with intrigue and adventure to keep it interesting. Book 4 follows Georgie Pendell, the historian of the Riverwood Coven. She was an interesting main character, and I really enjoyed watching her grow into who she truly was, rather than what everyone told her she should be. Their struggles against the Joywood Coven continue, making it harder for the Riverwood to truly take charge, especially as they discover all the secrets hidden from them by their predecessors, trying to keep them from being successful. They battle against dark magic with help from some surprising allies. There is love, adventure, and fun sprinkled in this final book, and I think it was a lovely end to the series.

This is the conclusion (book 4) that surrounds a magical town and the Riverwood coven. This must be read as a series but it is an amazing series. Each book focuses on a different female in the coven as she finds her place and helps fight the evil ruling coven. I think this might have been my favourite book in the series cause I really loved them all. I loved Azrael and his unapologetic understanding and how he is frustrating yet usually always right. Georgina has always felt the effect of her mother’s emotional abuse and has to overcome that inner voice that tells her she doesn’t belong. This is a story of healing and adventure and found family. If the cover doesn’t give it away there are Dragons! I was also lucky enough to receive the audio so I did a tandem read. Natalie Duke did an amazing job being this story to life and I loved her British accent. She has great pace and kept me interested in the story. I had goose bumps several times just from the emotion in her voice.

My favorite Quote is
“Love is not about outcomes. It is not a weapon or armor. Love is the answer”

Add this series to your TBR as someone who loves Witchy reads one is an amazing series.

Hazel has done it again! This might be my favorite book out of all four books! Georgie’s story is exciting, magical, powerful and heartwarming! I would recommend the entire series and especially this fourth installment. It’s the perfect, cozy magical read of Gilmore girls meets charmed and I know you will adore it as much as I do.

A beautiful end to the series. This last book in the Witchlore series was everything I needed it to be. I mean… dragons. What more is there to say. Just kidding, but seriously bringing mythical creatures into the story was so awesome. I don’t want to spoil anything, but dragons aren’t the only creature to enter the picture. I love that we get to know Georgie in a whole new way. She’s a complex character & there’s so much you don’t know about her unless she wants you to. The book starts at Thanksgiving & ends around New Year. It’s crazy to think that the whole series takes place over the span of roughly 1 year. All our favorite characters are still there and unfortunately so are the Joywood. I hate Carol so much, but what is going on with the Joywood in the book is honestly nuts. You just have to read it. I’ll miss this series, but at least I can binge them all now. 💜

Thank you to NetGalley & Harlequin for the advance copy.
