I really enjoyed this great book by Robert J. Morgan which offers an in-depth look at Zachariah and Elizabeth, a couple whose story I’ve previously only casually read over without much further thought. From their short story, Morgan derives twenty four God inspired lessons to help readers understand they have not been forgotten and the many ways He works in and through them.

Robert J. Morgan is one of my favorite non-fiction Christian authors of today. I always love the way he skillfully interweaves scripture, stories, and personal insights to help readers further understand the topic and this book is no exception. At the end of the book is an Appendix containing a sermon by the great Charles Haddon Spurgeon to further enhance the reader’s understanding. I highly recommend this insightful book to anyone seeking hope and encouragement and desiring to grow in their Christian walk.

Timely book for us all. Recommended highly. This isn't one you will race thru.
Thanks to author, publisher and Netgalley for the chance to read this book. While I got the book for free it had no bearing on the rating I gave it.

“Just like Zechariah and Elizabeth, you were born at the right time and you are living at the right speed. It’s not too late to become what God intends for you. You’re alive in this crucial moment just before the Lord appears again.”

This was a fantastic read!!! The way I could FEEL the Holy Spirit while reading each page of this book was so comforting and inspiring. If you’re in a rut, and feel like you missed your calling or even if you need something to refresh you and remind you what the REAL purpose of life is- READ. THIS. BOOK. I love how the questions at the end of each chapter challenges you, and makes you think about how involved the Lord is into our every day lives.

I love how it goes into detail and informs us that every single thing that happens in our lives is for preparation of what God has called us to do.

“Your past doesn’t define you,but it does develop you- when entrusted to Christ”

I had a 37 week stillbirth in 2019, and I felt so lost, forgotten, and hopeless. I was so devastated. Upon reading this book, I learned that the author lost his wife the same year I lost my daughter- the way he handled his grief with so much strength, grace and faith is admirable. I wish I had that. The author is truly inspirational. It is so healing and motivational, so much encouragement is poured from the heart of the author.

I have over 70 highlights in this book, and I am not a highlight happy reader. There’s SO much to take away from this book that you will want to read it over and over again just so absorb all the knowledge and information given.

I love this book. It is one of my top Christian books and I will recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I have also left a review on my Good Reads account!! Such a fantastic read, thank you so much Robert for sharing this with the world!
