Angels protect us, Loved Ones comfort us, and Guides show us the way. The Guide(s) book is just that: a guide to getting to know and harnessing the power of your spirit guides. Using the extended analogy of a road trip, Bernstein organizes her book as a lighthearted journey detailing how to meet your guides, how to hear them, how to work with them. Through chapters titled, “Construction,” “Backseat Driving,””Road rage,” “Take the Wheel,” she shares her own struggles and lessons throughout her own journeys. Candid and unvarnished, her voice is like listening to a friend who’s been there, giving us the inside scoop with the understanding that we are all different and will find our own ways, too.
This guide is for everyone. From readers who want to heal from trauma to those seeking greater clarity of their purpose, the chapters are well-written and profoundly helpful no matter where one is on their journey. I found myself having sudden realizations that required me to reread certain sentences to let them sink in, reflect, journal, and reread again.
Bernstein includes exercises for each section to help us integrate the learning and apply it experientially.
One will not read The Guide(s) Book and be the same person afterward. Start the journey and experience for yourself.
