A different kind of horror novel that went a bunch of directions but ultimately was a very satisfying read. Interesting take on the myth of the Fallen and how they survived thru the ages. Graphic violence and sexual situations added to the overall horror. Highly recommended.

An intense, captivating read, would definitely recommend to a friend and would read more from this author.

I enjoyed this small town horror, where you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. You know when a town has a festival celebrating black squirrels that they’re bound to be devil worshippers of some sort. Unfortunately, despite some fun scenes, this book is a bit slow and predictable at times.
