I listened to this audiobook over the past few days, and it really got me thinking about a few things. The author shares her story in a very direct way, almost as if you're having an intimate conversation. The tone is calm but honest, and you can tell there's a lot of lived experience behind every word.
What struck me most was the way she talks about acceptance and identity, without any drama or pretence. There were moments when it felt like she was voicing thoughts that had already been inside me for a while — just never quite put into words like that.
It’s not one of those books full of formulas for happiness or neatly packaged life lessons. It’s more of a raw sharing, which is exactly what makes it moving. It might not be for everyone, but if you’re at a point where you’re trying to understand yourself better or make peace with certain parts of your story, it’s definitely worth a listen.
