This is a delightful, fun story with real life characters..Fun, humorous, romantic it's all there in a fast paced story. I couldn't put it down.

This delightful enemies-to-lovers romance follows the best friend’s brother, Dr. Caleb D’Angelo, and his sister’s best friend, Dr. Samantha Bashar. Despite working as residents at the same hospital, they have an antagonistic relationship. However, when Sam shares unflattering and incorrect gossip about Caleb, it reaches his ex-girlfriend, Lilly.
Caleb and Sam attend a mutual friend’s wedding, where Caleb hopes to reconnect with Lilly. Feeling remorseful for potentially ruining Caleb’s chances with his ex, Sam tries to overcome their negative feelings and help him reconnect with Lilly. As they spend more time together, they begin to realize that they might not be as bitter as they thought.
This heartwarming romance features likable characters and a captivating plot. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

5 stars!! I loved this small town slow burn romance. This one has the perfect mix of enemies to lovers, angst and realism all in one. I’ve always loved Miranda’s books- the characters are genuine and you love them from the start. I would say this is my favorite book by far from Miranda! Fantastic job!

Caleb and Samantha are opposites that struggle to work together and sometimes it just isn't possible. They are both in the bridal party at their friend's wedding so they will have to pretend. Caleb and Samantha aren't that good at covering their true feelings since their friends and family can see the truth. I enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance and all of the very interesting characters.

Thank you NetGalley and Miranda Liasson for this sweet ARC for my honest review. And honestly I loved it Miranda Liasson. It is the sweetest story that took me away to another place. I absolutely love Sam and Caleb!! These characters go from enemies to lovers!! I kept rooting for them! This is my favorite kind of story. After all, ALL you need is love!!❤️. This story is so heartwarming in which you see that you can find love when you least expect it I highly suggest you add this book to your list to read. You will absolutely love it.

Caleb and Samantha are total opposites and are constantly clashing with each other. Their lives are totally entwined with each other - they work together, are neighbors, going to attend the same wedding and he is her best-friends brother.
Caleb wants to get back together with Lilly, his first love and since Sam is in a way responsible for Lilly’s opinion of Caleb, she has decided to help him win her.
Once they agree to get along and spend time together, Caleb starts doubting if it’s Lilly he really wants.
Take me to the wedding is a very well written, friends to lovers read. It was a fun read between two people who never thought they would fall for each other, but were powerless. I loved how supportive Caleb is and slowly chips away at Sam’s walls.
I loved the banter between Sam and Caleb, it had me smiling constantly. I look forward to reading more I. The series.

Sam and Caleb are coworkers, neighbors, and get on each other’s nerves to no end. It doesn’t help that Caleb is also the older brother of Sam’s best friend. They’re both supposed to be in an upcoming wedding party and have vowed to try to get along. Also in the wedding party is Caleb’s former love, Lilly, whom he would like to rekindle a relationship with. But an incident at work leads to the spread of a tidbit of gossip, which leads Lilly to give Caleb the cold shoulder, and Caleb is not happy. Because of her part in the incident, Sam vows to help him get Lilly back whether he wants her help or not. The more time Caleb spends with Lilly, the more he sees her in a different light, and he's not sure it’s a positive one. Yet the more he sees of Sam has him having a change of heart about his feelings for her. Sam is also noticing Caleb in a different way. Could there be something sparking between them other than their former antagonism toward each other?
A heartwarming story!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Dr Samantha Bashar and Dr Caleb D'Angelo are sworn enemies., she has ruined his relationship and feels bad and tries to help repair it. as they are thrown together, they realize maybe they are not enemies after all.

3.5 stars from me!
This was such a cute and easy read. I felt the connection between the main characters, and I appreciate how the story portrays imperfect people navigating real challenges. I loved that there was conflict with resolution, showing how obstacles can be overcome.
My only complaint (which might be because I read an ARC) was the presence of some spelling and grammatical errors, along with a few inconsistencies - like Caleb wearing a grey tux in one scene and a navy blue one the next. Hopefully, these will be corrected before the official release!
Overall, it’s a well-written love story that I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for something sweet and light.

Dr. Samantha Bashar and Dr.Caleb D’Angelo had met early on, one New Year’s Eve. It didn’t turn out well. Now they are working together but they don’t get along. It’s like they can’t stand each other. Sam struggles with letting people get close to her. She has a lot on her plate. She is taking care of her sister and paying for her sister’s college education since their grandmother passed away. Sam is just barely hanging on. She’s fierce and independent. Caleb is a great pediatric surgeon. They are both almost finished with their internship. Now they are both serving in a wedding for one of their friends. Sam is also his sister’s best friend. They will try to get along at least for the weekend. They will be traveling together since her car is in the shop. They live in the same apartment complex. Makes sense. Caleb is struggling to get back with his first love, Lilly. Sam offers to help him since she gossiped about him and ruined his chance with Lilly. She will make sure he has a chance to be with the love of his life. As they spend time together, they see each other differently. Maybe they don’t hate each other. Could it be sexual tension? Sam realizes he’s kind, caring, funny. How could she have been so wrong? Caleb sees her in a different light also. He can see how beautiful, cautious, loving, kind and funny she is. Does he really want to be with Lilly? Can Sam and Caleb become friends? Will their chemistry get in his way? These characters are wonderful. They both deserve true love. Sometimes you want something because you thinks it’s what you really want but that can cloud your judgement. Is this what Caleb wants? Maybe Caleb just needs to let the past go to move forward to his future. Sam and Caleb need to trust their feelings, and their heart. Can they? I was rooting for them. Worth the read. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily

Another excellent story from Miranda Liasson. I have enjoyed all of her books and this one has quickly become a favorite. It has the perfect blend of friendship, family, heartwarming moments and humor. When reading a story that can make you emotional or smile, I know that it excellent writing.

Dr. Samantha Bashar has a rocky work relationship with Dr. Caleb D’Angelo. When he has her taken off a case, she says it's personal. Caleb is her BFF's brother, and she needs to get along with him due to a wedding coming up that they are both a part of. They rent an apartment in the same house he's just across the hall. Samantha didn't have a great upbring and is try to parent her nineteen-year-old sister thru college. Her car is broken down and she needs to ride with Caleb to the weekend events for the bridal party. Caleb was in love years ago and still carry's a torch for the one that got away. So, the one that got away is also part of the bridal party and Samantha is going to help him get the girl only it's not going well.
Wonderful story of finally seeing what is in front of you.

oh swoon. i loved this book. and i swoon not only for the two of them but also for their wider circle. the friendships and love in this book are totally enviable. they just have it, that community surrounding them be it family or friends (the family you chose)
and then we have these two. knock their heads together main characters. who i equally loved. even when they were being silly idiots. and when they bickered it still wasnt hateful.
i loved how this book showed what we least expect could be right in front of us and exactly what we need. and often the things we are afraid of is at that moment in time just fear itself. because if you allow yourself to see the good its a scary and vulnerable place to be. so why not jsut bicker and think the other person is doing us wrong right? but then what happens when you have to spend more time with them. and you start to really see and really feel things. well then you let love in. and you love back. and go for it.
i loved our two main characters. and yes they didnt always behave impeccably. but in a way that made their growth and relationship better. because sometimes we make mistakes. sometimes bigger than others and harder to forget. but when someone helps you forgive yourself and forgives you then it makes such bonds and it shows you exactly who they and you are. love is tricky until its not. and even then it can feel tricky. but you know when any good outweighs any bad that youve hit the nail. be it family or friends love is love and literally beats it all.
and that is exactly how this book made me feel. all mushy and then contemplative and smushy. yuck,ha!

Enemies to lovers? Yes
Best friend’s brother? Also, yes.
Take Me To The Wedding was such a cute, lighthearted romance. The characters were likable and fun to get to know. This book contained some of my favorite romance tropes so I had to give it a perfect score. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it. I highly recommend it
I received an ARC from NetGalley. Opinions are my own.

I like this book! I am such a fan of Grey's Anatomy and this book reminded me of some of the plots and characters of Grey's. The fact that everyone knows everyone, everyone is related, and everyone is together brought the book a lot of the Grey's energy we love.
I love Sam and Caleb and their banters all throughout the book. I also love their journey to falling in love. I also love the tight friendship that they have with their friends in Oak Bluff. But, I must admit that I need some back stories for some of the characters (which I believed was mentioned and set in the 1st Oak Bluff book). I got curious and would want to read that as well (also the next one about Ani).
This is a sweet and easy-read rom-com which will make you swoon especially if you like small towns, doctors, cute animaks, and weddings.

a charming, feel-good romance full of heart, humor, and second chances. Miranda Liasson delivers lovable characters, witty banter, and all the small-town charm readers crave. It’s the perfect cozy escape for anyone who believes in love, family, and happily ever afters.

Hugs, kisses, touches, all the magic of love are the things that draw two people together. True love is happening. The friends that have joined together to celebrate Ani and Tyler’s wedding in Milwaukee were invited to share different festivities for the duo. Caleb D’Angelo and Samantha Bashar are physicians working in Milaukee’s Children’s Hospital in the large Wisconsin facility. He is the good looking, single pediatric orthopedic resident and she is the anesthesiologist who assists many during surgery.
Take Me to the Wedding will be published on May 09, 2025 by Hawthorne House Press. I was able to read Liasson’s latest novel via NetGalley. Her invitation to me was a delight. It is the second of The Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff series. Samantha didn’t think she was ready for finding that kind of love. Her job was her number one priority. Upon graduating she hoped to secure a spot in pediatrics anesthesiology. Many of her friends had coupled up and were prepping for their futures. Sam had her own life to secure as well as getting her sister started down the medical path. Caleb is a talented bone doc and loves working with children. His plan is to head back to his home to take a spot in Oak Bluff. He would be around his family and the practice that he was familiar with.
Take Me to the Wedding was a pleasant, entertaining story that shows readers how dedicated the staff of children’s hospitals are. Her delightful stories are always heartwarming. Be certain to select this novel!

The main characters, Samantha Bashar, a pediatric anesthesiologist and Caleb D’Angelo, a pediatric orthopedist, both work in the same hospital and live across the hall from each other. Plus, Samantha (Sam) is also the best friend of Caleb’s sister. Talk about intertwined in each other’s lives! There is only one problem, they don’t like each other. In fact they do not get along at all. A fun book that goes from enemies to ‘just friends’ to lovers. I received this delightful arc from Netgalley, the author and Hawthorn House Books. I enjoyed this fast, entertaining read and this review is my personal opinion.

What a fantastic book!
Caleb and Samantha are colleagues, he is an orthopedic surgeon and she is an anesthesiologist. They constantly get on each other’s nerves. After one particularly rough confrontation, Sam regrettably shared gossip about Caleb. Caleb has been trying to reconnect with Lilly, whom he loved in college and early med school. He thinks she is his one true love. But when Caleb and Sam head to the country for a weekend with others in a wedding party, things turn heated between them. Since Lilly is also in the wedding party, Sam tries to help Caleb reconnect with her. She feels bad about the gossip she shared that somehow got back to Lilly. But does Caleb need or want her help? And what about these sparks that are flying between the two of them?
Extraordinary story that is beautifully written. Loved it!
Thank you to Hawthorne House Books, for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

We are back with another touching story about a group of young doctors who are starting to discover a future outside their professions.
Samantha/Sam Bashar is a pediatric anesthesiologist whose childhood was not the best until she and her much younger sister were taken by their grandmother, a matchmaker.
Sam doesn’t really believe in love and is very competitive . She’s determined to take care of her sister and stay her course.
Meanwhile, Caleb D’Angelo, almost finished with his pediatric orthopedic internship, comes from a boisterous Oak Bluff family who is loud and full of love .
At first they seem as compatible as water and oil but when they are forced into proximity during a drive to a friend’s wedding, each discovers that what seems to be true is not. Especially when Sam apologizes for a rumor that started by her about Caleb and has agreed to help him reconnect with his old love.
As they get to know each other, feelings develop. But can they trust these feelings? Can Caleb show Sam that love is possible even for her?
The plot was engaging and the characters perfect in their imperfections. A reminder that sometimes the “exterior” of ourselves that we show to the world , is really covering our true feelings and fears.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Hawthorne House. the opinions expressed are solely my own.
