Sarah and Darah was such a fun, dramatic ride. It’s messy, it’s fierce, and it perfectly captures the high school chaos of reputation, betrayal, and revenge—with just enough heart to keep you emotionally hooked.
Darah’s return to Placeside High after years in exile was everything I wanted. The tension between her and Sarah is magnetic—like every scene between them buzzes with old wounds and unspoken grudges. The graphic novel format made the emotions hit even harder, and the artwork? Gorgeous. Pia Prado’s illustrations add such richness to every glare, every flashback, every twist.
It’s dramatic, yes. But also layered. Underneath the snark and power plays, there’s real vulnerability—about identity, sisterhood, and the cost of trying to stay on top.
If you love stories with big energy, complicated friendships, and a heroine who doesn’t play by the rules—this one’s for you. I flew through it and already want more.

Thank you to NetGalley and Mad Cave Studios for the e-arc!
Sarah and Darah is a compelling high school drama following the titular characters as they struggle to deal with unresolved business between themselves and their families. I found this title to be just alright. I liked the art style but I felt the characters were very one dimensional which made the plot feel unserious. I do think if there was better character work I would have loved this but sadly it did not work for me.

I did not enjoy this title. So many of the characters are unlikeable and the art style made everyone look like they were made of rubber. Just not for me. I don't mind drama but everyone was so mean.
