I am absolutely loving this series. The way book 1 ended had me unwell and I couldn’t wait to jump into book 2 as soon as I got my greedy little hands on it. Holden is just the ultimate book bf. Every single thing he does is for Rowan and his love for her literally jumps off the page, he is so enamored by her and His jealousy in this book is 👌🏼 Rowan is a bad ass FMC. I’ve really enjoyed watching her grow throughout these 2 books and really come into her own and I know she will continue to do so as the series goes one. Her and Holden together are absolute 🔥🔥🔥 and this book made me feel the feelings. I wish I could read the next book STAT.

this series is so fun and i devour every word greedily!!!

tensions are high in book 2 — holden & rowan refuse to let each other in all the way, each determined to have the upper hand. i feel for both of them; they both deserve to have their end goals met but it seems impossible right now.

i love how rowan takes absolutely no shit from anyone. i don’t agree with her decision at the end of book 1, but i love that she’s doing it for HER. and more importantly, i love how jealous holden gets over it in this book 🙂‍↕️

This second book in the series just shredded my heart into tiny pieces. You want to smack Holden and hug Rowan. I am enjoying the character growth and watching Rowan come into her own and hope to continue to see even more in the next.
For now, I’m going to have to flounder around to find something to read while I want for book 3!!
