Sloan has loved weddings ever since she was a little girl. She kept that love through adulthood and landed a job writing for a bridal magazine. Unfortunately, she was left at the altar and now struggles to trust any man.

Wilder meet Sloan at a friend‘s wedding that she’s covering and she has no idea who he is - the boss’s son and rugby star/playboy!

He falls for her and spends his time trying to convince her to give him a chance. He no longer wants the life of a playboy and is doing his best to show her that she can trust him.

Overall it was a cute read.

If you like romance novels with a slow burn, witty banter, and a rom-com/enemies-to-lovers trope, then I would definitely recommend Jilted. Personally, I wasn't super invested in the story because, while I love a good rom-com, I struggle to enjoy the enemies-to-lovers trope. I am primarily an audiobook reader and didn't care much for the male narrator - it felt forced and a bit cheesy. Still, the story is well written and the witty banter was entertaining. This is definitely a good book for the right romance reader!

Sloane, a writer for Bride Magazine, meets Wilder, a once famous rugby player, turned entrepreneur playboy, at a wedding she is covering. Turns out he is a groomsman in the wedding, and did I mention her bosses son?

With Sloane becoming a last minute bridesmaid to bridezilla, her path to happily ever after takes a turn she never expected.

Jilted was such a lovely read. One that pulled at the heartstrings and I couldn’t put down.

This was such a fun slow-burn romance. Sloane has been obsessed with weddings since she was just a young girl, but after her fiancé left her at the altar, she's been avoiding men. Unfortunately, she works at a bridal magazine and has to be around weddings all the time. It's at one of those wedding, when she finds herself filling in as a last minute bridesmaid, and then making out with an incredibly handsome groomsman, Wilder. Too add to the chaos, Sloane soon finds out that Wilder is the magazine owners son, and she'll be seeing him at multiple weddings over the next year.

This book was addictive and so easy to read, mostly because I was totally invested in Sloane and Wilder. I loved their chemistry so much. They had fantastic banter and were just so good together. I also really enjoyed Sloane's close-knit family and the heartwarming family moments that occurred throughout the book. I'm not a big fan of the accidental pregnancy trope, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of this one at all.

I paired the book with the audio which was a really fun reading experience. The narrators, Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt were fantastic and really brought Sloane and Wilder and their emotions throughout the story to life.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt and I really enjoyed it. Sloane is works for Bride magazine covering weddings for the feature. She meets Wilder when one the bridesmaids for a wedding she’s covering has a family emergency and the pushy bridezilla basically forces her to stand in. Wilder a former Rugby star and playboy takes one look at her and falls hard. I enjoyed the progression of their relationship. Don’t get me wrong you know they will end up together but Sloane definitely makes him work for it.

I actually loved the chronic medical condition representation in this book. Sloanes dad has Parkinson’s, Sloane is diabetic, and Wilder former rugby coach has dementia. All of these conditions were portrayed in such a respectful and well written way. Being on an insulin pump myself I could relate to Sloanes struggle.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy but this is my preference is that then narrators voiced all the characters in their POVs chapters. I’ve gotten used to other audiobooks with dual narrators where the female narrator voices all the female characters and the male does the same and it just feels more real to me. This is a minor personal preference and didn’t change how I feel about the story at all.

I listened to the audio version of this book narrated by Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt. You can't go wrong with a book narrated by either of them, and the narration bumped it up to 4 stars from the 3.5 stars I would have given the e-book.

This is an insta-love trope. I really have a hard time buying into that. Wilder was supposed to be such a womanizer and then just upon one interaction with Sloan he was ready to not be with anyone else until she was ready to be with him--and she did not like him at all at first (except for his eyes). They keep getting thrown together because Sloan is writing an article about a slew of weddings occurring close together for a bunch of friends.

The wedding shenanigans were great, the banter was wonderful and the narration was exceptional!

Thank you netgalley for the ALC of Jilted. Vi Keeland is one of my favourite authors and I always love her books. This one had a trope I like but some of you won't like. But I loved their relationship.
Both people have a past they are trying not to let leak into their current relationship with each other. Of course it got in the way on both ends and did make the third act a little bit dicey. But all in all a cute story.

Jilted by Vi Keeland is a fun and flirty romance. Sloane works at a wedding magazine was left at the altar. Wilder is a charismatic and intriguing man Sloane meets at a chaotic wedding. Together they have witty banter. An emotional story of overcoming heartbreak, taking chances on love, and the complexities of family dynamics.

The audiobook is dual narration of Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow. Arndt and Snow bring Sloane and Wilder to life by capturing the characters' personalities with the flirty and fiery dialogue.

This story was such a fun surprise. Jilted follows Sloane, a wedding-obsessed writer who’s had her heart stomped on in the worst way—left at the altar. Understandably, she’s sworn off dating and is just trying to get through her assignments without getting too caught up in the fairy tale fluff. But then along comes Wilder, a ridiculously charming groomsman she meets while covering a wedding. Sparks fly, complications ensue.

The setup is rom-com gold: she ends up standing in as a bridesmaid, gets roped into a dance with Wilder, and—cue the tension—runs into him again and again at other weddings. Their connection is instant but builds in a slow, delicious way. There’s banter, there’s heat, and there’s a lot of emotional unpacking as they figure out if they’re just a fling or something real.

What really worked for me was how natural their chemistry felt. The dialogue is sharp and playful, but there’s also this underlying vulnerability that gives it weight. Sloane’s trying to protect herself, and Wilder’s not just another charming guy—he’s got layers.

Also, shoutout to the audiobook narrators—they nailed it. Their voices matched the characters so well and made the story feel even more immersive.

If you’re into slow-burn romances with heart, humor, and all the romantic feels, this one’s definitely worth a listen.

Jilted! What a cute book! I liked so much about this one! First off, the female narrator, Andi Arndt. She is definitely one of my favorite narrators, and she does not disappoint. Secondly, a man pursuing a career woman and feeding her cupcakes?! Yes, please.

After being abandoned on her wedding day, Sloane is over weddings. Done. Finished. Completely over them. Except she works at Bride magazine. She cannot escape weddings!

While on the job with Bridezilla, Sloane meets a hottie, wilder. His eyes are gorgeous, but can be just shut up?! ;) Sloane cannot stand this cocky man, but after being fed a cupcake, butterflies might be blooming in her belly.

Super cute book. Not a huge fan of the male narrator’s voice. Could it be more corny?! Like he is trying to sound like a suave, hot man, but it definitely does not. I found it less annoying later in the book,

But overall very cute. ****oh 🌶️ alert 🚨 **** some of that business is a bit toooooo much for this old lady.

Anything with Andi Arndt gets an extra star because she is my favorite narrator.

This is typical Vi Keeland so if you enjoy her, you will enjoy this entry of hers!

This slow burn romance read was a great read. I have been a fan of Ms Keeland's for a long time and I enjoyed this book just like I have enjoyed her others.

In this standalone read, Sloane is a bridal magazine reporter that was left at the alter by her ex. She has dreams of her wedding from an early age but has put those dreams on hold for now. She goes to report on a wedding only to be drawn into the wedding party where she gets paired up with Wilder. In what started as one article quickly turned into more as over 6 months a group of college friends will all be getting married and Wilder is in all of the weddings.

Wilder, former professional rugby player and businessman is not looking for anything more than one night until he meets Sloane. She is a woman that he can't get out of his head and he started to pursue. He also thinks that she could be the woman that will change him as the pair begins to spend more time together.

Both characters are damaged by their past - Sloane with the ex that left her on her wedding day and Wilder by and ex that tried to scam him. Both have had to deal with the death of loved ones that they were close to and both have strong bonds to their remaining family. Their story is a slow burn with a lot of build up. The banter between the characters was enjoyable from the start and their chemistry was off the charts from their first interaction. Their story moved along well and had me hooked to see if this pair would get their HEA.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read that I would recommend to others.

I read this book because it is billed as an enemies-to-lovers wedding-themed romance, which sounded like fun. I was ready for some spice given Vi Keeland is the author, plus Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow always are great narrators. I was lucky to receive an ARC from NetGalley for review. This book has some silly far-fetched character encounters and plot twists, but I was game for a ride featuring bridezillas and a hint of forced proximity/brief mistaken identity. Unfortunately, I didn’t care much about the storyline though the two mains did have decent chemistry. I’m not 100% sure why retired rugby champ and the boss’s son Wilder decided to give up his playboy ways practically at the mere sight of Sloane (read: insta-love). This book took a nose-dive when two(!) accidental pregnancies cropped up in the past/present storylines, which seemed to cheapen any payout or happy ending. Keeland comes through with some raunchy open-door steam which will work for some but didn’t add much for me.

This book was a 3.5 for me. It’s a classic steamy romance. It was dual narration, which I always like. The style was very Max Monroe and early Christina Lauren. Three chili peppers. The book itself included insta-love and accidental pregnancy trope, which I don’t normally gravitate to. It was a fun, easy read.

I received this advanced audiobook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. One of the reasons that I wanted to listen to this book was because of the male and female narrators. I have listened to many books with them as the narrators and really enjoy their voices. They do a great job differentiating between characters. I especially enjoy the male narrator’s deep, growly tenor. The dual POV is a style that I really enjoy and it keeps me on the edge of my seat. In an audiobook it means I don’t know who will be narrating the next chapter which causes me to want to keep listening to see what is happening in the other POV.
This story was such a great listen. Wilder was such a wonderful MMC. He was so earnest and willing to do the work to grow. Sloane was a great match for him. They had fun banter and challenged each other. They are so easy to root for. I always enjoy when friendship and trust are built before the couple gets together. This was a great slow burn with tons of underlying tension.

I didn’t really read the plot summary on this one, so I went in blind to listen to the audiobook and I enjoyed it. I had read a thriller by this author, and now this steamy romance! The narrators were excellent at giving a good representation of both main characters, and the story was cute (but not too cute or sweet!) and had some unexpected moments to hold my interest.

The spice was a little unexpected as it came kind of late but welcomed and fit in with the storyline. Overall I really enjoyed the book, the characters, and the plot, and will recommend it to my friends that enjoy spicy romance!

Sloan was in love and being as she write for a magazine for brides. She doesnt love to do it anymore and she has to write for a wedding and she not into it. Now she is assign to be a bridemaid and her walk to aisle is a flirt Wilder hayes. The author give a glimpse into Wilder backstory even though Its Sloan story heartbreak and how close off she is about love and Wilder showing her what real love is and having patience and understanding.
