It’s officially the best season- a nice long walk in the sun with a banging audiobook! Especially an audiobook where there is, in fact, some banging. I had a lot of fun listening to this book. The narrators did such a fantastic job of bringing Sloane and Wilder to life. I thought the concept was interesting and I love a book where the man falls first. The characters were all well developed and I really enjoyed their chemistry. It was good to get some representation of people with diabetes as well, without being hit over the head with it over and over. The steamy scenes were certainly fun too. Wilder was charming and I love when a man woos a woman. I also thought it was interesting how the author created his back story by doing some of his chapters in the past. It kept the book interesting and created the appropriate amount of tension in the future. Overall, I thought this was such a fun listen and I had a great time!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for an advanced listening copy of this book. All opinions within this review are my own.

Jilted by Vi Keeland is a fun, sweet, sexy romcom. Told in dual POV, this story follows two characters who learn and grow exponentially as individuals, together.
The female MC is a writer for Bride Magazine who is struggling to find joy in her job after being left at the alter. The male MC is going through life as a player, too afraid to get attached to anyone. Until the two meet at a wedding where she’s working and he’s a groomsman. The two main characters have so much chemistry from the start, which leaps off the page and will keep you reading to find out how and when they will finally get together.
I listened to the audiobook version of this story, which was well done by two narrators. I listened at 1.5x speed (my normal audiobook listening speed is 1.75x). The male narrator read a little faster, which required me to slow down my listening speed a bit.
Thank you NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for this advanced listening copy.

What’s worse than being left at the altar? Having to write about other people’s perfect weddings for Bride Magazine while you piece your own life back together. That’s exactly where we meet Sloane in Jilted. As if her job wasn’t enough emotional whiplash, she finds herself roped into a bridesmaid emergency, and face-to-face with the undeniably charming and swoon worthy Wilder Hayes.
From their very first encounter, the banter and chemistry sizzled. Wilder falls first, hard, and it doesn’t take long for Sloane to realize she might just want to take the leap again too.
This story is a heartwarming, slow-burn romance with just the right dose of emotional healing and sexy tension. I loved watching Sloane and Wilder navigate their connection with vulnerability and humor, and their banter had me hooked. You’ll root for them the whole way.
🍸 Margarita pairing? Absolutely. Sloane herself is a tequila girl, so it only felt right to sip something strong and citrusy while reading this one

I listened to the audiobook version of this cute romantic comedy, and the narration was smooth and easy to follow - perfect for a vacay listen. The story follows a heartbroken wedding writer still reeling from being left at the altar, who suddenly finds herself stuck working alongside a frustratingly attractive groomsman... who just so happens to be the boss’s son.
There’s plenty of banter, sweet and spicy moments, and slow-burn tension to keep things interesting. It’s a fun ride with just the right mix of humor and heart. If you’re looking for a light, feel-good story to enjoy by the beach, this one’s a great pick!
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4.5/5) ... A delightful beach read with great narration and sweet romance.

Jilted by Vi Keeland
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️¼ (4.25/5)
Vi Keeland delivers another captivating romance in Jilted, combining the charm of the "He Falls First" trope with plenty of witty banter and heartfelt moments. From the moment Sloane and Wilder met at his friend's wedding—where Sloane was covering the event for Brides magazine—the chemistry between them was undeniable.
Despite recently being left at the altar and vowing to steer clear of men, Sloane couldn’t completely resist Wilder's relentless charm. Wilder, on the other hand, was completely smitten from the start and set out to win her over, giving readers a slow-burn romance that was both playful and passionate. The way he courted Sloane had me smiling and fully invested right until the end.
While the progression of their relationship was enjoyable, filled with laugh-out-loud moments and sizzling chemistry, I did feel that the chase dragged on a bit too long. Sloane’s hesitance, given her past experiences, made sense, but I wished she had addressed her feelings a bit sooner before fully committing. Despite this, the story remained engaging, and I would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this delightful book.

Thanks to @macmillan.audio for the #gifted copy of this book.
Summary: Sloan, a jilted bride at the altar, loved her job until she didn't. She works for Bride magazine writing up about the weddings she attends. Her latest job has her meeting Wilder leading to a year of weddings that she was not planning on, nor wanting to attend. But as they draw closer together from their months at weddings, they start to feel a draw to one another. Will they let their hearts be led to one another, even if it's scary?
My Thoughts: Ohhh goodness I just loved this book!! It was a slooooow burn but it was for all the right reasons, and so I was applauding their tension. Sloan and Wilder's banter drew me in from their very first meeting and it only got better. Despite their one-night stand upon meeting, I love that they decided to pursue a friendship, especially since that's all their hearts could initially handle. It was fun watching them grow closer to love, and even though Wilder fell first, he was so patient in building a beautiful story with Sloan. I loved that we got to peek into Wilder's devastating past and truly understand why his heart is so closed off to the idea of love upon first meeting Sloan. Though there's an instant attraction, it takes a long and wild journey for them to find their happily ever after.
🎧 I love both Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt so I was excited to see they were narrating this book. They have a great flow and make me feel like I'm in the middle of the story. I would highly suggest listening to this one!

Jilted is a charming swoony tale I absolutely loved. The He Falls First tropes is a favorite of mine, and this novel had me smiling and fully invested until the end.
The story follows Sloane and Wilder who met at at his friend's wedding which she was a covering for a Brides magazine.
The attraction was ever present from the moment they met, but after being left at the alter recently, she has sworn off men. However he was smittened and began courting her.
Theirs was a slow burn romance, and I enjoyed the progression of their relationship which gave us witty banter, laugh out loud moments and sizzling chemistry. This was a fantastic read and I would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.

The audiobook was narrated by Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow. They did a marvelous job with these characters bringing out their personality and showing their vulnerabilities. Their voices were clear and understandable and they made it an absolute pleasure to listen to this audiobook.

This book was a delightful read, filled with witty banter that kept me engaged throughout. I particularly enjoyed the way Wilder courted Sloan. Their chemistry was off the charts. However, I felt that the chase dragged on a bit too long. While I understand Sloan’s reluctance due to her past experiences, I believe she could have addressed her feelings more proactively before entering a new relationship. Overall, I found their story overall quite enjoyable, and I would recommend this book.

Jilted by Vi Keeland was had its moments, but honestly? It was kinda mid for me. Like, don’t get me wrong—the setup was cute and the tension was there, but it felt like Sloane and Wilder went from zero to soulmates way too fast.
They meet in a coat closet at a wedding and the chemistry is instant, but it just felt a little rushed. Like, we get it, they’re both hot and have that snarky banter thing going on, but I needed a bit more depth before they started acting like they’d die for each other. The whole “I barely know you but I’m already obsessed” vibe just didn’t hit for me.
Plus, the whole long-distance thing felt a little forced. Like, Wilder’s an ex-rugby star, Sloane’s a wedding journalist, and suddenly they’re all in for this cross-continental romance after a handful of intense-but-kinda-surface-level conversations? I don’t know, it just didn’t feel earned. Like, a few more real conversations and less “we’re perfect for each other” after one steamy make-out session.
So yeah, Jilted wasn’t bad, but it didn’t give me the “omg they’re meant to be” feels I was hoping for. Audiobook was on point tho, I love both POVs and both narrators were great!
Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and author for providing me this audiobook in exchange for an honest review!

This book is so good.
Sloane had a terrible experience with her ex fiancé.
Wilder had what would have been his world ripped from him.
Together they are perfection. They were slow burn in the best way. It took time, which was so necessary and real, for them to get where they needed to be.
The side characters are so good in this one!!
Don’t skip this one!!
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for a chance to read and review this story.

Thank you to Netgalley and Macmillan audio for the ALC.
I thought both narrators did a great job - both Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow are favorites of mine.
I can't however, stand accidental pregnancy. It completely ruined the book for me and it was done for a dumb reason. So what would have been a solid cute 3 star book with a little too much "whatever" whenever there was a conflict is now a solid 2.

I adored this book. It’s a classic Vi Keeland book and that’s just what I love about them!
I adored Sloane and Wilder, together they had all the chemistry, swoon, and banter.
🎧Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow slayed this duet narration and because of that I gobbled this book up and left no crumbs!

Sloane has always loved weddings, so much so that she chose a career working for Brides magazine. Her own fiance leaving her at the altar has put her off weddings though, which is inconvenient considering she gets recruited to be in the bridal party of the wedding she is covering when we first meet her. She also gets paired with the most maddening, sexy, and charming groomsman she has ever met, Wilder Hayes, the son of the owner of Brides magazine. Sparks fly, and bickering before and during the wedding soon leads to making out in a coat closet, which becomes even more awkward when her boss points out that nearly the entire bridal party is getting married this season and how fun would it be to turn this into a series and have Sloane cover all the weddings, which means she and Wilder will be seeing a lot of each other.
This was such a fun romcom! It’s definitely a slow burn as both Sloane and, as we learn, Wilder, have both been burned by love and have to take that healing journey before they’re ready for a second chance at love. I do love a good “he falls first” story though and it’s obvious Wilder falls hard for Sloane and that as afraid as he is, he keeps putting himself out there, first as a friend, then as more when they’re both ready.
I really enjoyed these characters. At first Wilder comes across as arrogant, but we soon see he’s really a sweet guy who loves to take care of those he loves. Sloane is also easy to root for. She’s smart, funny, and she deserves so much better than what her loser fiance did to her, and Wilder is just perfect for her, which makes that slow burn so worth the wait.
I enjoyed Vi Keeland’s writing, character development, and the way this story unfolded, & found it easy to follow on audiobook. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow were fantastic as Sloane & Wilder, perfectly capturing their chemistry and making Keeland’s banter just sparkle.

Jilted is a funny, cute, sweet & spicy romance that had me absolutely enthralled. As soon as I started this one I knew I was in for a little treat. It was so much fun all the way through even with some more serious topics at hand. Everything just blended beautifully and had the right balance. It is definitely a slow burn for the romance but I was here for it. Following their relationship and how it grew was a real joy.
Wilder & Sloane are just so damn cute together. Wilder is so persistent and he knew he wanted her from the beginning and he never gave up chasing after her. When she finally allows herself to open up to him and him to her fully it's such a magical and beautiful love story. The family aspect in this book was so good, they were all so close and it warmed my heart. There is a 3rd act conflict but it was resolved fairly quickly and maturely.
Overall, this was a great romcom that I had such a blast reading. It was so much fun and also a beautiful romance story. Very enjoyable !
🎧 The narration by Andi Arndt & Aiden Snow was fantastic. I love them both and they played their roles to perfection. Aiden brought the American/British accent to life perfectly and it flows flawlessly. The emotions and feelings portrayed were done perfectly. It was an easy listen!

✨ ALC Review ✨
What a cute, bantery romcom! This was my first Vi Keeland novel *and* my first time listening to Aiden Snow in a dual narration. I’ve only heard him once before as part of a multicast. I wasn’t sold on him right away, but about a quarter of the way through, I got it.
Sloane is a wedding reporter for Bride magazine who was jilted at the altar a few months ago. Yikes! But she still loves weddings and everything that goes with them. Wilder Hayes is a groomsman at one of the weddings she’s writing about. They end up partnered for wedding. Yes, there’s a story for that. It’s cute and they’re adorable. He calls her “cupcake.” She can’t get over his gorgeous eyes and a searing kiss they shared.
Cut to Monday: He’s her boss’s son and he’s convinced his dad that the magazine (Sloane specifically) should do a feature on all the weddings of his fraternity brothers throughout the year. Fun since he’ll be a groomsman in all of them.
Ahhhh!!! So much fun. If you’re looking for a delightfully sweet and low stakes romcom, this is a book for you.
Recommended for lovers of weddings, rugby players (those thighs!), and close families!

The book was okay. One thing that would have liked from the audiobook was maybe something like “then” or a date because there were parts that I was confused. I have two other books from this author that I’m looking forward to.

Jilted follows the story of Sloane and Wilder, two characters who carry significant baggage from odious past relationships. Sloane was left at the altar on her wedding day and Wilder swore off relationships after his last two serious relationships ended horribly. Ever the play-boy, Wilder isn't someone Sloane is confident she can trust but he is determined to win her over. Their love is a slow-burn that delivers witty banter, heated love scenes and tender, heartwarming moments. I appreciated the character growth from both Sloane and Wilder as well as their communication skills and Wilder's respect for Sloane's wish to take things slow. I also really enjoyed the side characters in this story and how they helped us to understand the Sloane and Wilder on a deeper level. And I actually enjoyed Wilder's flashback chapters; I felt like they delivered extra layers to Wilder's characters beyond the player we know him as. I loved this book and I'd definitely pick it up again.
I listened to the audiobook and I need to give credit where credit is due: they were fantastic. I can't imagine a better voice for Wilder than Aiden Snow. I felt like his voice not only matched the ex-rugby, sultry playboy so well, but delivered his tender moments and emotions so well. And Andi Arndt has delivered once again with a passionate narration that easily helped the listener really feel all of Sloane's emotions.

This is a meet cute romance trope which is pretty spicy (3/5 spicy peppers). I enjoyed the lovable characters and the plot of the story.

I really enjoyed this book. Romance isn't always my go to but if it's a romcom, I'll usually give it a go and this did not disappoint. I think, personally, I would've chosen to read this via ebook or physical. I liked the female narrator but the male's voice was too low for me and I was uncomfortable with how long her drew out the work "fxck". I understand the meaning behind why it was drawn out but it made me cringe a bit to be honest. In regards to the book content, I think it was fun, the open-door romance aspect was just enough to still fit into the romcom aesthetic without going too far into erotica. I think this was great. 3.5 round up to 4 stars from me.

Dual narration performed by Andi Arndt & Aiden Snow
• He Falls First • Slow Burn • Boss’s Son • Forced Proximity •
She’s a wedding blogger who gets pulled to stand-in for a missing bridesmaid and he’s the groomsman she gets paired with. He’s also her boss’s son!
They both have complicated pasts that would absolutely leave them jaded about love, but when it’s the right person, none of that matters. And that’s absolutely the case with Sloane and Wilder!
This one was such a feel-good story! Their first interaction is laced with amazing banter but the sexual tension is off the charts! And when she ends up getting assigned to cover more of his friends’ weddings, it feels serendipitous.
And let’s talk about the narration! Andi carried the majority of the story, with most of it being in the FMC’s POV and she did amazing! She really brought Sloane’s personality to light! And Aiden . . . I could listen to him all day. He was perfect for Wilder!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for the ALC!
