I loved this book so much! Both main characters are very relatable. I also loved the way their story evolved; both of them had wonderful character development and growth. The storyline was fun, sexy and an all around good time. This was my first book written by Vi Keeland and it definitely won’t be my last. 💖 I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a fantastic job. I could listen to Aiden Snow read the ingredients on a cereal box and be totally enthralled. 😂
I would like to thank Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for giving me an ARC (which did not sway my opinions or review).

I really enjoyed this book. This is a fun slow burn romance that takes place over several weddings. Our heroine Sloane is doing a feature for a Bridal magazine, on a group of college friends that are all getting married over the course of the summer. Sloane used to love her job, but it has soured when she was left at the alter of her own wedding. During the first wedding of the series, Sloane has sparks with one of the grooms-men Wilder. Now they will be seeing each other at many weddings over the summer.
This was a fun, breezy story. I loved seeing the different weddings. I loved the slow burn of it all. Wilder had to really woo Sloane over the course of the book, it was fun to watch.
Thank you to NetGalley and MacMillan Audio for the advanced listener copy. The Jilted audiobook has two of the best narrators in the biz, Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow. It was a great listening experience.
I highly recommend this book, for fun, and flirty vibes this wedding season.

I read this book early first and just finished listening to it as well. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow really brought Sloane and Wilder to life! It made the story even more enjoyable than just reading. They are amazing!!
4.5 stars! I really loved the storyline and Sloane and Wilder are just adorable together. He is persistent to say the least. I am glad he doesn’t give up because they have chemistry for days and are the perfect complement to the other. Both have baggage that threatens their ability to have a relationship, but being up front about what they want and honesty and trust goes a long way. The other characters like Sloane’s dad and brother, Wilder’s biz partner Andrew, and Sloane’s work partner Elijah are all great characters as well. This book is steamy, sexy, flirty, funny, and emotional. Totally worth your time! I loved it!
ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

i tired so hard to listen to this but just couldn't push myself to suffer through this.
thankful i got the audio arc

YESSSS!! Vi Keeland really knows what the people wants! this was such a pretty story, and I love when it all comes full circle.
For me, it was the twilight reference, how he falls first (CHEF'S KISS!!!), his acts of service and his level of attention to detail? ughhh from remembering her favorite food to noticing her insulin pump!! I am so happy for this HEA
Now, for the audiobook part, I really think they are a good match to the characters and so engaging!! His voice was just perfect for Wilder!!
Special thanks to Netgalley, Macmillan Audio and Vi Keekand!

Let’s start with the narration: I’m in the minority here, but I just can’t with Aiden Snow. He sounds like he’s trying to sound sexy, which is ewwwww. Andi Arndt, on the other hand did a great job as Sloane—natural, engaging, and easy to listen to.
As for the story…, this one wasn’t really my jam. The “billionaire falls in love with an average girl” trope doesn’t do much for me, and neither does insta-love. Wilder’s got big “I get what I want” energy, and not in a good way—more in a pushy bordering on red-flag kind of way. He steamrolls over boundaries, and if you think too hard about how that might play out long-term, it’s a little ick.
That said—if you suspend disbelief, squint past the questionable behavior, and focus on the pacing and banter, it’s kind of a fun ride. I especially liked Wilder’s little brother Lucas, who stole every scene he was in.

Sloane has loved weddings since she was young, and her career is not focused on them. Despite having her heart broken at the altar, she still spends her days surrounded by brides of all styles and personalities as she documents their special days for a bridal magazine. After a Bridezilla wedding where Sloane finds herself roped into joining the wedding party, she lets loose for a night with the handsome groomsman she was paired with, figuring she’ll never see him again. As luck would have it though, that groomsman was her boss’s son and she is assigned 11 more weddings that he will also be attending.
Wilder is a playboy, always up for a little fun, but finds himself drawn to Sloane. He is used to a life of privilege, though he fits in with Sloane’s “normal” life pretty easily as their friendship builds. For being described by his friends as a playboy, though, he falls for Sloane hard and fast.
Because they live in different cities and Sloane has sworn off men for the time being, they strike up a friendship. But 11 weddings is a lot of time together and Sloane starts to wonder if she hasn’t unknowingly let Wilder in, instead of keeping him at arm's length.
I listened to the audio, and enjoyed Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt’s interpretations of the characters. These two are strong narrators and the way they brought Wilder and Sloane to life was perfect.
This was a fun, witty story full of emotional growth and development and so many lighthearted moments. It held the perfect amount of humor to keep things from being heavy. I loved the side characters, and the closeness of Sloane to her family. It did feel like there were a lot of tropes flying around for a bit, but in the end it all worked. I enjoyed the banter and the rom-com bits throughout. This was another fun, relatively quick standalone from Vi Keeland!

This precious book absolutely jumped up and made my day. I listened to almost the entire book yesterday while I was doing all the "house stuff" (laundry, meal prep, planting flowers, unloading the dishwasher... iykyk), and it kept me chuckling and smiling all day.
Sloane and Wilder are enemies to lovers, but they're not enemies for long. He falls first, and it's just as cute as his nickname for her (it's Cupcake).
They both have past issues to overcome and there are lots of weddings to attend before they can try to take on a life together, but it's a fun ride and made me want to get dressed up and go to a wedding.
There is one spicy scene that the book honestly didn't even need in my opinion, but, overall, I couldn't help but love it.
It's sweet and sassy and full of banter, and the audio has a great dual narration that really brings the story to life.

First of all, love anything Vi Keeland writes. It's easy, good pacing, and the couples are not 2 dimensional. They're sassy, spicy, and have lots of fun. This is about Sloane, who has her perfect wedding in mind since 7 was left at the alter, and changed her perspective on love and men. Then you have Wilder who's a playboy to the core, literally run into the love of his life. Both knew it's not 'normal' for them to feel this way, but they do. They deny themselves, fool themselves, kid themselves, but the chemistry is palpable. I love those two so much.
I love that Sloane has a strong family as her support. Wilder's dad is not as much as an asshole as we all thought. But good news is that they know it's love in there. Their hearts knows it sooner than their heads, so there's alot of catching up and it's fun to watch/read.
My biggest complaint, the 3rd act, how they come back together: Sloane did not put up much of a fight. She should after the way he acted, and the resolution came too fast and too quick. I could've enjoyed Sloane making Wilder work for the forgiveness in couple more chapters.
Thanks to NetGalley & Macmillan Audio for the ARC. I love Andi Arndt & Aiden Snow.... man, Aiden make the spicy scenes spicier, that's for sure.

Thank you to Netgalley, Macmillian Audio, and Vi Keeland for the ALC.
Sloane is a journalist for a bride magazine, and she loves her job until it becomes a painful, daily reminder of being left at the altar. But covering weddings has some benefits, like meeting a former pro rugby groomsman named Wilder Hayes. Wilder falls instantly for Sloane, but Sloane needs someone who will be gentle with her still healing, broken heart.
This is my first Vi Keeland novel, and I will be back for more. I enjoyed the story. However, the character development of Wilder Hayes could have used a little work. At times I felt like he was being modeled after Christian Grey – ridiculously wealthy, use to getting what he wants, and a times a little possessive of his love. I think Hayes could have stood on his own two feet without paying homage to Mr. Grey.

3.75 out of 5 stars
Thank you to @macmillan.audio #MacAudio2025 and @netgalley for a copy of this ALC.
I thought this book was really fun! I enjoyed Wilder and the banter that he and Sloane had throughout the book. This was a bit of an insta love book but I had a good time with it. I thought the dual POV made it even more interesting to get both perspectives.
🎧: I thought both narrators did an excellent job. The female narrator did a great job of giving the MMC a slight british accent and that was a nice touch.
Closed Door Modifications: 21, 22, 30

I absolutely loved Jilted. This is hands down one of my favorite books that I’ve listened to this year. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow did a phenomenal job bringing this book to life. Aiden’s voice turned me into a puddle of mush. His voice is deep and hot. He is the perfect Wilder. These two knocked it out of the park.
The writing was top notch. The character growth was fantastic. So much great conflict in this story from start to finish. The emotion hit me in all the feels! I finished this audiobook in a day. I did not want to stop listening. The tension between Sloan and Wilder was sizzling hot. I loved what a goner he was for Sloan. I loved that the weddings tied them together. This is just a fun summer romance!
I received this audiobook from Macmillan Audio and Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I may be wayyyy behind on this but I didn't know Keeland wrote romance. I thought this was okay. It kept me entertaining but it was not memorable. I don't really get the instalove on his part but happy for them.

I am a fan of Vi Keeland so I was excited when NetGalley approved me for the ALC of Jilted. Right off the bat, this book is narrated by the amazing combo team of Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt and they brought these characters to life. This opens with Sloane. She works part time at her dad’s bar and is a writer for Bridal magazine. She is on her way to a wedding she is not looking forward to attending. Here job has been made more difficult since she was left at the alter by her fiancé who wanted to give his ex another shot. When she arrives and the bride is the ultimate bridezilla. When she is coerced into covering for a bridesmaid she is paired with the Azure eyed hottie, Wilder. They have an attraction and an instant dislike that ends in a make-out session in the coat closet. When he is suddenly revealed to be her bosses son, things get interesting.
Vi Writes with so much emotion and heart and this book is no exception. I loved Sloane and Wilder as they try to navigate what “could be” between them. Wilder is a committed bachelor and hasn’t been in a relationship longer than a few months since college. Coupled with Sloane’s obvious pain at being left at the alter 6 months ago, this road to a relationship is bumpy. What I loved about them both is that they tried, even when it was hard, and even when it seemed impossible. They both had some huge emotional baggage. I loved so much about this book and the side characters are just a great as the main one. Great Listen with a great story. Definitely worth adding to your TBR.

I loved this cute romance. The characters were easy to read, likeable, and cute together. I really enjoyed him falling for her first because it's ALWAYS the other way around. I loved the dynamic these two had together and that everything was easy for them in an obtainable way, not something that could quite literally never happen. The writing was well done and I believe that this book is going to be a top selling romance book of the summer for sure.

Thank you @macmillanaudio and @vikeeland for the alc of this book from @netgalley
My first Vi Keeland—and it definitely won’t be my last! I took a chance on this ALC, and I’m so glad I did. I absolutely adored this slow-burn romance between Sloane and Wilder.
After being left at the altar, Sloane has sworn off men. Unfortunately, she’s also a writer and podcaster for Bride magazine, so weddings are very much her life. What starts as a simple assignment to cover a wedding quickly spirals into her being strong-armed into wearing a terrible bridesmaid dress and standing in as a last-minute bridesmaid. She’s paired with the oh-so-handsome Wilder Hayes, and their bickering banter carries them all the way to a coat closet rendezvous.
What was supposed to be a one-time assignment turns into a series of wedding events, and Sloane finds herself spending more and more time with Wilder. I loved these two together—Wilder definitely falls first, and he’s all in when it comes to winning Sloane over. The burn is slow, but it’s so worth it.
I also really enjoyed the family dynamic between Sloane, her dad, and her brother—and how quickly Wilder wins her dad over! This book was a total win, and I highly recommend picking it up.
🎤Andi and Aiden did an amazing job with this dual narration. Aiden’s deep voice with a bit of a British accent was perfect for Wilder and his charm. I could listen to Andi read a phone book, she brought Sloane’s wit and charm to life.

This book was not for me.. The insta-lust plot line made the love story seem shallow. The language of this book was vulgar. I was expecting a sweet romcom and this was definitely not that. I also did not enjoy the male narrator’s voice. Thanks to netgalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This swoony romance begs the question - can the jilted bride and the man who is afraid of love find a way to heal each other? In true Vi Keeland fashion, this book is such a fun & flirty read! There’s so much to love about this dual POV rom-com. From the get-go, it was clear that Sloan and Wilder had chemistry bursting off the pages. In addition to the witty banter and slow burn romance, this book also has an emotional component and tells the story of a woman learning to trust and love again after unimaginable heartbreak. Wilder is one of the sweetest MMC’s, and I was completely smitten for him! I also really enjoyed how both characters connected over being a caretaker/influential adult figure in their younger sibling’s lives. These two teens added an additional layer of depth to the story, even as secondary characters.

Aiden Snow is one of my favorite male narrators, so it’s no surprise he knocked it out of the park with his performance of Wilder. This man emanates big D energy with his deep, commanding voice. I could listen to him read a phone book and still swoon. And Andi Arndt… is there a character she can’t embody?! Together, this powerful duo made me fall in love with Sloan and Wilder, allowing a seamless transition from audio to book and back for a complete reading experience.
Thank you to Macmillan Audio for an ALC and to Bramble Romance for my #gifted copy of Jilted. All opinions expressed are my own.

This was my first Vi Keeland book and it won't be my last! It was full of spice, wit and drama. I liked the FMC and MMC grew on me.
The dual narration was perfect and let the listener know which character's perspective was being shared. The MMC voice was exactly what I would have thought he would sound like so that added to my enjoyment of the story.
Thank you Net Galley, Vi Keeland and MacMillian Audio for the opportunity to preview this book. The opinions shared are my own.
Jilted is expected to be released on May 6, 2025 just in time for your summer TBR!

Sloane writes for a bridal magazine and fills in as a bridesmaid at one of the weddings she’s covering. She meets one of the handsome groomsmen, who also happens to be a rich, former rugby player who lives a playboy lifestyle. They have a steamy makeout sesh in a closet and expect never to see each other again…until he walks into her office.
Sloane and Wilder have chemistry that’s off the charts. They have fantastic banter and it kept me engaged to the story. Also, this was narrated by Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow, so it’s hard to F a book up listening to those two.
I really enjoyed this one. It was fun. Not overly complicated. Good backstory for each character. If you need an easy (and steamy) summer read, this is the one for you!
