I generally liked this storyline, but this was my first read by this author so I didn’t know what I was getting myself into smut wise. The amount of smut wasn’t my taste, because I feel like a lot of the storyline focused on sex scenes and how much one of the main characters wanted to have sex… but the basis of the story was good. I only wish there was more substance.

Cute and sweet. This was a delightful read with a bit of humor thrown in. I enjoy Vi Keeland's books. They are usually pretty upbeat, with good characters, moderate steam, and a HEA. I listened to the audiobook version of this one and both narrators did a great job with the book. It is told from alternating POV and my only complaint would be that I didn't feel like I got a very in-depth story, it was pretty short. However, what was included was well written and had all the necessary parts to make a good story.

Thank you to Vi Keeland, Macmillan Publishing, and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!
This was so good! Both of our MCs are so great!
Sloane is our FMC who is in her self-help era trying to open herself back up to the prospects of love after being left at the alter, who's job is to attend and document prestigious weddings for BRIDE magazine. Wilder is our MMC, a wealthy playboy with the most gorgeous eyes who is trying to figure out his priorities in life while being forced to attend all 12 of his friend's weddings. They keep
*accidentally?* running into each other and their banter is spectacular. I loved their story and the end actually had me a bit shocked. It was a great story and definitely made me tear up a few times. Once we reach the spice it's great but this was definitely a slow-to-moderate burn. Overall l'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a heartfelt romcom vibe.

I didnt even know I needed a sweet romance but this was chefs kiss. Its got the best tropes.. slow burn, opposties attact, meet cute.

I love that both characters have "baggage" and how they work through it and its just refreshing to see. I also like that this book has so much REAL trauma that so many can relate to such as diabetes, parkinsons, cheating, demention, cancer etc

This isnt a simple romance but it comes together with such adult problem solving it was nice.

For me I needed more romance between the two characters it flows into friends on accident in a lot of places so it keeps me out of the story for a bit.

I really enjoyed these characters and their story. While the tropes aren't some of my favorites (that's what I get for going in blind even though I love the author) I think anyone who does love them, will love this book. It was really cute and funny, with some emotional weight and a wonderful happily ever after.

While I started to catch on, the twist in Wilder's past surprised me. I think that was my favorite part of this one tbh. Overall I really loved them and I was happy I picked this one up.

Especially since the audio was so so good. Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow were incredible and I loved this listen.

Thank you to Macmillan Audio for this audiobook!

I really enjoyed this slow-burn, swoony romance! Sloane and Wilder had a hilarious meet cute that had them bickering one moment, and kissing passionately the next. Surprisingly, the next day, Sloane discovers that Wilder is her bosses son and she has to work with him for the rest of wedding season. Weddings have been a romantic dream for Sloane since she was a kid watching her loving parents. When she gets left at the alter, they become a nightmare, and she puts dating on hold. Wilder is intrigued by Sloane and wants to explore more with her. As they spend time together, their connection grows and their chemistry sparks hotter. But Wilder has a past that makes believing in love impossible. Can these two help each other heal and start to believe in a forever love....together? I loved the push/pull between Sloane and Wilder, along with their flirty banter, and their slow-burn fiery chemistry made me cheer hard for their HEA. The the support that Sloane had with her family and friends was so sweet and fun. I loved the way Wilder's story was told in flashback scenes helping to make this story unputdownable.
Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt did a great job bringing these characters and story to life. They are so easy to listen to as they flawlessly deliver all the fun banter, emotion, and steam. They made this romance even more captivating and delightful.

Overall, 4 stars, I LOVED the backstory of why Sloan loves weddings, it was so sweet. I really enjoyed the relationship development between Sloan and Wilder. While it started with instant attraction, the physical distance between them allowed them to develop a deeper connection beyond the initial physical attraction. It made me so happy to see Wilder turn from a rich playboy to a mushy teddy bear. This book reminded me a little bit of the Four Weddings show so it was an enjoyable audiobook. I loved seeing pieces and parts of Sloan and Wilder's parents in their personalities and their beliefs and the small pieces of parental wisdom thrown in throughout the book.

I really hope Lucas and Olivia get their own book one day (or maybe just a novella). Whether they stay friends or turn into something more, they just seemed so cute together, especially during those awkward teenage years.

After being left at the alter, wedding reporter Sloane never thought that she would find the perfect man for her would be a groomsman at a wedding she is covering.

I really loved this one! Here's what I loved:

Sloane and Wilder: These two were perfect. Literally, when they were together I was swooning! They start off more resistant, especially her, to even getting to know each other but it slowly builds into this relationship that I just loved. They had such great chemistry.

The wedding of it all: I loved having all of the weddings as the background for this story. It gave a perfect excuse for Sloane and Wilder to interact.

The narration: Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt were great in this. They both embodied the characters and really pulled me into the story!

All in all, this was a great spicy romance!

Thank you to the author and publisher for the gifted copy!

I officially love Wilder. He’s the kind of hero you can’t help but fall for—soft-hearted, kind, and deeply loyal to his friends and family. His quiet strength and unwavering support made him incredibly swoon-worthy, and his tenderness just melted me.

Sloan’s journey was equally compelling. You don’t blame her for guarding her heart—she’s been hurt, and her hesitation felt honest and real. But what I truly loved was watching her decide to start living again. Opening up to Wilder, letting herself feel again—it was powerful and moving.

The emotional growth, the chemistry, and the moments of vulnerability between them were beautifully written. And I have to mention the audiobook: the narrators did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life. Their delivery captured all the nuances—both the heartache and the hope.

This was a story about healing, second chances, and choosing love even when it’s scary. I couldn’t stop listening.

I LOVED this book from #ViKeeland and ##MacMillanAudio! A Rugger version of Roy Kent meets an updated 27 Dresses-sequence Heroine for a fun and imaginative romance. I loved Keelands style and story building so much that I found myself identifying other characters for the next stories she should tell - looking at you Will and super supportive ER Doctor! Definitely add this one to your summer must read pile!

📖 Bookish Moments:
This was such a fun romcom! Sloane and Wilder were perfect together! I loved the beginning of the book so much! And I love that she made him work for a relationship with her. And Wilder was so on board to do whatever it took to win her over! They worked well together as a couple.

Honestly, it felt way less about Sloane being jilted and more about the Wilder’s past relationships. Some of the flashbacks felt a bit redundant though.

The story was lighthearted but still touched on some deeper topics. The third-act breakup wasn’t my fave (is it ever?), but thankfully it was short and didn’t kill the momentum.

Sloane and Wilder are my favorite couple this year! I devoured this whole audiobook in a day. Aiden and Andi made this story truly come to life and deserve so much credit to how amazing this book felt. I can't imagine my own reading voice doing this justice to compete with them.

Thank you Netgalley and MacMillan audio for the free alc. My opinions are being left voluntarily. I thought this is a fresh story and unique. I loved both narrators and thought they added to the story. I loved the 27 dresses part and how they kept coming back. I'm finding it interesting as this is thr 3rd or 4th book recently that needed that year break before being with their partner botnsure why this is a current trend in book....

There is a lot of good things going for this new rom-com release that ended my romance reading drought! The main characters are mature, have career goals, and are family centered so it was neat to watch them pine for one another after a tension filled instant attraction moment (coat closet) at a wedding.

Sloane works in the bridal industry and is on a dating moratorium after being jilted at the alter several months ago. Wilder is a former pro-rugby player (and playboy who is allergic to commitment) who lives in London and is almost the guardian of his teen brother. But he is one determined man who falls hard for Sloane and uses his wit, charm, and acts of service to convince her to give him a shot.

The banter, slow-burn tension, emotional arcs (both characters with their families), and great spice made this read fly by for me! Both MCs were easy to root for, and while there is a 3rd act conflict, they handled it with maturely to work for that HEA. I had a fantastic time!

Audiobook narrators, Andi Arndt and Aiden Snow did a wonderful job with the dual narrative plotline. Wilder’s character had an American/English accent hybrid that Snow did a great job with, and they both brilliantly captured the angst and pining for these two lovebirds.

🎧 ALC REVIEW 🎧

Thank you @macmillan.audio for an early listening copy of Jilted by Vi Keeland. I received an advance listening copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. 🤍

🛑Read on with caution; review may contain spoilers🛑

Jilted is a fun opposites attract, wedding meet cute romance. It tells the story of Sloane, a writer who was recently left at the altar, and Wilder, a billionaire womanizer. Though quite different, they’re attracted to each other but as Sloane was in a dating hiatus, Wilder pursues her nonetheless and agrees to wait for her. I loved his patience despite having a reputation of not going into serious relationships, but his past made me dislike him a lot. There was a lot of emphasis and repetition of his history with several women, and I kind of dislike him as well for how much he sexualizes/objectifies Sloane’s body.

The narrators made my entire listening experience enjoyable and worthwhile though! Especially Andy Adrnt’s voice, which was calming and fit for Sloane’s character. Aiden Snow’s voice here feels a little bit too deep though, and kinda gave me icks every time he mentions something sexual. This could just be me being annoyed with the character he’s portraying though.

Thank you NetGalley, Vi Keeland and Macmillan Audio for the ALC of Jilted for my honest review.

Narrators Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt performed this audiobook in dual narration. They both did any amazing job bringing Sloane and Wilder to life. The banter between the MC was so much fun. Highly recommended you listen to this book.

Funny sexy wedding filled book with charismatic MCs, especially the hot slight british accent on Wilder. The humor got me good, the chemistry between Sloan and Wilder was off the charts. They really had fun chemistry and banter filled moments.

Was unsure of the MMC from the start. The author did start to give him some depth but it didn’t fully excuse his behavior in my opinion. Overall there was not enough plot and the ratio to explicit content wasn't fore me.

I had not read a book by this author before and may have been slightly misguided by the cover.

Thank you to netgalley and MacMillan audio for this ALC even if it did not work for me.

I needed this. Ever get into one of those ruts where everything you pick up is just OK? I was on one of those streaks, then picked this up. Streak broken!

Sloane has lost her passion for her job at Bride magazine after being left at the alter. She is also on a man moratorium. Covering yet another wedding, she is suddenly forced into being a bridesmaid for a bridezilla. And is paired with the super hot stranger Wilder.
Wilder is a playboy. His longest relationship post college is maybe a couple of weeks. Maybe. But he is instantly drawn to Sloane. Enough that he vows to wait for her man moratorium to end. And that he will not pursue anyone in the meantime. (Though he wonders if he can be celibate that long...)
Wilder works on breaking Sloane's walls down, but she is so afraid to trust again- especially someone with Wilder's reputation.

I'm always sucker for reformed players. Wilder is pretty darn perfect. I liked Sloane a lot as well. I was also appreciative of the fact that the plot wasn't one that could have been resolved in a single conversation (those drive me crazy). Their big conflict was realistic.

I read this one straight through!

Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt narrate the audiobook. Great, as always.

I received an advance audio copy in exchange for an honest review.
