This is a book based on webcomics of the same name. It’s more of a linear story than a collection of comics. The story itself is relatable but pretty simple. I expected a bit more from it, so for that reason I didn’t love this, but it was a quick read and the style is very cute.

I love Sad Nuggie! Very relatable comics and themes with an adorable, cute art style made this impossible not to enjoy.

Who knew a chunk of breaded chicken could be so relatable. Wonderfully illustrated and very cute, perhaps not fully my sense of humour but enjoyable nonetheless.

This book is soo cute and so very relatable. I enjoyed reading this and I think this is a book that everyone will enjoy whether they are a reader or not.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for the digital ARC. I absolutely loved this. A collection of strips about sad nuggie’s day to day life. The good, the bad, the happy, the sad, and all relatable one way or another. A fun read that I’ll be picking up again.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a pretty cute slice of life book. A lot of it is relatable. I haven't been a follower before reading this book so I wasn't sure what to expect. The illustrations were simple but well done.

Sad Nuggie is kind of the epitome of Millennial humour, but Toronto being the setting was really cute. The Canada Goose was a fun (and relatable) joke. The puns were all right. This was pretty good as far as slice-of-life comics like this go.

🇬🇧 Thank you Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for this book. Publication date in august 2025.
It was such a cute and relatable read. The way I never thought that I'll identify that much to a nugget. Accross a few series of comics panels, we follow Nuggie throught fear of a new environement, and joy of little things. This read was so simple and so deep at the same time. Throught a few pages, I felt move and deeply seen. The art is pretty, round and colorful, which make the whole book look like a cozy blanket.

(First time writing that. Little bit exciting)
This is an unbelievably adorable comic about an anxious and stressed out Sad Nuggie whose incredibly relatable day-to-day life is a minor catastrophe, but he keeps on keeping on.
I genuinely loved this and haven't made so many ridiculous and embarrassing noises while reading something since Korgi and was stopping to show my partner every other page.
It's simple, smart, cute, and incredibly relatable.
Frankly, I adored every morsel of it, aside from the Sad Nuggie™ brand bio at the end, which just had a little more corporate content® vibe than I got from the comic in general, but that's me and capitalism ruins everything at least a little bit, I guess.
Otherwise, an absolute delight!

This is a very simple, almost picture-book-style story, and I gave it 4 stars because I liked it. I am a simple girl. If it makes me smile and gives me a little joy, that is enough for me.
The story is sweet, cute, and funny. It is light and easy to read, but that does not mean it lacks meaning. If you take a moment to read between the lines, you will find little fragments of reality and moments that feel deeply relatable. It is the kind of book that makes you go “awww” one moment and then feel a little tug at your heart the next.
Do not worry, sad nugget. You have my heart 💛

this adorable and funny comic collection follows nuggie, a little chicken nugget navigating anxiety and everyday struggles. from moving to a new city to dating, career stress and going to therapy, nuggie’s journey is really relatable and heartwarming. the illustrations are so cute and this is a perfect short read for anyone dealing with anxiety or loneliness - it's comforting and it will definitely make you smile!

Is this a children's book?? because it had me crying and smiling at how cute and cuddly it was. How seen I felt reading this little friend's life, how I thought about every action in my life and how equal it is to this little friend's life. Without a doubt this is the book I needed to read right now when I am going through a difficult time. The illustrations were beautiful, the sequences, the colors, without a doubt a beautiful book.

This was a remarkably relatable read, resonating with the struggles and emotions many of us face. The book's tone, while undeniably bleak, managed to provide a sense of comfort. However, I would hesitate to recommend this book to those who suffer from depression and anxiety, as it could potentially be discouraging for them. It's essential to consider the potential impact on these readers. Overall, I liked the drawing and found it enjoyable to a certain extent.

I absolutely adore Sad Nuggie's social media, so I was so excited to see this book. In honesty it fell flat for me. There were a few cute relatable things, but otherwise it was kind of blah. There just neede to be more too it. If it was gonna be a little "gift shop" type book that was like $10 tops, fine, but for a $19 book it needs more comics with actually mini stories/purposes.

Illustrations were cute, but there wasn’t much for a story. I probably would've enjoyed it more if there was more of a storyline, instead of just following Nuggie everywhere.

Some days you need a plate of nuggies and some days you are a sad nuggie.
A cutesy quick read.
Review copy provided by the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Sad Nuggie is the most relatable little cartoon. The page where Sad Nuggie goes to therapy and has to talk about childhood... oof. That is way too real.
I love Nuggie's affirmations to get you through the work week. "I'm not just a snack, I'm a whole meal deal of awesomeness." I want to print this page out!
And fewer things are more relatable than: "The weekend has two days. One to stress about the previous week. One to stress about the next week. And both to stress about only having two days to relax."
This would be a perfect book to give to a friend - even a work friend - or to someone just going to college. I love nuggie!

I've seen Sad Nuggie around. I think my favorite videos are the ones where a person is selecting a Nuggie plush to fulfill an order. I picked this book up because I wanted to see what was up with Sad Nuggie.
I thought this comic was cute and relatable. I can see the appeal of this as a coffee table book. However, I think the main audience for this book is for established fans. As a newcomer, I was not enchanted by these vignettes, and nothing was show stopping. I'm probably in the minority though because I see many others adored this book. I'm happy for them!
Thank you so much to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC!

This is an adorable, relatable book on dealing with real life anxiety inducing scenarios. Nuggie faces moving to a new city, finding a career, dating, the stress of weekends and not having enough time. Nuggie visits their therapist and shows effort to trying the suggestions (even if it seems to backfire). Love the illustration and uee of varied panels
