SAD NUGGIE IS BACK AGAIN!
Whether this is your first dunk into Sad Nuggies' life, or you've tried many of the saucy flavors Sad Nuggie has to offer. You will likely find a ton of enjoyment in this book.
There were different points that had me in tears, some from laughter and other s from just hitting a little to close to home.

Thank you to NetGalley, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Anastasia Sevastyanova, and Sad Nuggie for the digital arc in exchange for an honest review!
Sad Nuggie is me and I am Sad Nuggie.
To start off, I really liked the concept of this book and how cute the art style was. As someone who does have anxiety, life can be hard. It can be challenging. It can even, yeah, be a little sad too. I thought the art style in this book was a very approachable way to approach the hardships we all have in life. I also think it's a great way to show that even if you do have anxiety, even if everything seems to suck, you can do it!
It made me happy to see Sad Nuggie finding the good in things, even when the situation seemed bad. I also liked the inclusion of therapy, it goes to show the importance and value of getting help.
I really did enjoy this book and I'd read it again if I was ever feeling anxious.

it was such a cute and heartwarming read, as someone who struggles with daily life, it was great to see the humour in it and to realise you're not alone, 100% would recommend

a quick a fun read! nuggie is a very relatable character LOL and i had a lot of fun seeing his adventures

So cute and very relatable. Love that the main character is a nugget which makes it so entertaining. Read it in one sitting and I definitely recommend to read it.

This is an adorable, yet real story about an anxious and introverted chicken nugget. It is geared towards adults. It shows him going through daily struggles of being an introvert and shows his growth. Many scenarios I can relate to as I have the same personality and struggles. The comics have heart and are funny and cute too. Thank you Netgalley for the free book. This was also reviewed on Fable app.

A very lovely book. The book consists of 6 chapters divided by different situations. We see Sad Nuggie trying to adapt a new city and a new circle. I quite enjoyed the therapist panels at the end of the chapters. The book is quite easy to read and I have finished it at one sitting. As someone with depression, I could relate to Sad Nuggie in some panels. The book is not really funny but more so relatable.
My only complaint would be that I feel like some small stories that continued few pages were a bit long. I feel like it could be more enjoyable.
Thanks to Netgalley, Andrews McMeel Publishing and Sad Nuggie (Anastasia Sevastyanova) for a copy of this book.

this was a just fine little comic collection. I was hoping for something a bit more, or funnier somehow, unsure of what was missing but it is probably more of a me problem than a content problem!

good quality drawing, a good book
I liked the dialogues, the way the scenes happen and the characters

*Sad Nuggie* is just trying his best, and we love him for it. This comic is an adorable and relatable portrayal of life with depression, including the little nugget going to therapy and learning from it. The art style is simple, but adorable. It is incredible how much emotion we can see in a blob's eyes.
As someone who absolutely loves concert, the panels of Nuggie enjoying one spoke to my very soul. Same as when he rewrote an email to be more professional. Nuggie gets me.
As such a relatable cutie, I find myself wishing Nuggie had more time to develop and explore the different scenarios, but, as it stands, it is a perfect coffee table book or gift.
Thank you to NetGalley, Sad Nuggie, and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the advanced copy. This review is left voluntarily and honestly.

Sad Nuggie – Life Is Sweet and Sour is a cute collection of comic strips featuring a little nugget going through everyday struggles. The illustrations are lovely and the format is light and easy to read. Personally, it didn’t fully work for me as a book — it felt more like something I’d enjoy casually on social media than in a compiled volume.
That said, it’s perfect for light moments or fans of daily comic panels.

I really enjoyed this book. It is really sweet to see sad nuggie in all of life’s (sometimes challenging) situations. It was surprisingly also really relatable at times as sad nuggie struggles with anxiety and I could see myself in him.
Overall I can really recommend this quick, sweet book!!

Was a cute book about Nuggie's life. I had a good time reading it. I would recommend and read again.

Sad nuggie is a cute tale about a chicken nugget whose life experiences frequently go wrong. I loved how the graphic novel featured nuggie conquering moving to a new city, attending support groups, going to work, exploring the city, and attending therapy. I found his story to be extremely relatable. I don't mind that most of his experiences were "negative". It was encouraging to see a book talk about how imperfect life can be. Sometimes positive books are not always helpful when someone is going through it.
I still cannot believe that nuggie ate chicken nuggets! I think that was the only thing that shocked me and I can imagine other young adults will get a kick out of it. If you are not already familiar with the Canadian brand Sad Nuggie, you should definitely check them out. They sell adorable chicken nugget themed plushies.
Thank you NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for the eARC.

Absolutely adorable! I'm not sure the intended audience but it works for me! Sad Nuggie is illustrated for maximum cuteness and divided into several fun meme-like vignettes.
Follow Nuggie as he moves to a new town, which is easily idenifiable as Toronto, Ontario. He struggles with relaxing vs adulting, eating healthy, managing funds, finding friends and even dating.
I love the Canadiana and how relatable Nuggie is. It was fun seeing Nuggie experience familiar places and visit popular tourist attractions, even having a stand off with a Canadian "cobra chicken" Goose. My own question is why oh why, if setting this book in Canada is neighbour spelled the American way, without a "u"?
I'm definitely going to check out his Instagram page for daily chuckles.

This was a very quick and easy read. The writing style and the artwork are fun. I personally think the focus was a lot more on the "sour" side of life, a lot of things went wrong for Nuggie and even the "sweet" things went wrong sometimes.

This was a relatable graphic novel, it was a quick read and was easy to read which is helpful when you just want to dive into something light. It is. Sad and anxious nuggie is very relatable and it's also humourous too which you often need in the times of sadness and anxiety. I loved the illustrations too, I just think there could have been more.

Sad Nuggie’s “Life is Sweet and Sour” had some very cute and relatable moments in the plot. Definitely couldn’t help smiling and recognizing myself in some moments. Kind of wish it was longer for more relatable moments. It would have been nice to see more therapy moments too. Overall, very happy to have read this graphic novel.

This book had me smiling and saying "hey that's so relatable" throughout the entire book. I love the character sad nuggie and seeing him try to uplift himself felt so relatable to working on my own mental health struggles. The art is 100% so adorable and unique to the artist, and I honestly can't wait for more books. Everyone read this!
