Healthy eating is always a goal for me, and I appreciated the variety of recipes in this cookbook. I'm in a bit of a cooking rut right now, especially for dinnertime with members of my family going in all directions. We do have a goal to eat at the dinner table together at least a few times a week, and I'm excited to try out the recipes I think my family will enjoy. Sections are divided into categories of Breakfast, Soups, Salads, Snacks, Pasta, Poultry, Beef, Pork, Seafood, Meatless, and Desserts. Several recipes are additionally labeled as Gluten-Free, and each recipe has a sidebar of basic nutrition measurements of Calories, Carbs, Sugars, Fat, Fiber, and Protein. I also liked the add-on options, shopping, prep, and cooking tips, serving suggestions, alternatives, and rollover ingredients identified which varied with each recipe. There are at least three recipes from each section that I will be making for my family or myself, and I know there are more to try if I'm feeling adventurous or creative ;)

I don’t know about you, but I think that the picture on the front of this book is beautiful! I love Our Best Bites, I get tons of recipes from there and I’ve been part of their Fit Club they’ve done this year. I’ve lost over 12 pounds in the last 12 weeks. I was so excited to get my hands on this book, I love it! I love that every recipe has a picture and they are all beautiful. I love that every recipe has the nutrition information right there, it’s so convenient. I have made tons of recipes out of this book, and I have enjoyed them all, and the best part is that our kids have enjoyed them too! There is a recipe in here for breakfast pizzas that you make on an English muffin, I made them one time and our kids have asked to have them again several times. I also made the pizza that’s on the front cover, it doesn’t have any meat in it, it’s all veggies on the top, and my husband didn’t even notice.
I love that this book teaches you to use ingredients that are just a little bit different from what you may be used to using to get delicious food that isn’t going to have tons of calories and fat, and will be healthier for you and your family.
