I saw Mary Higgins Clark and didn't pay attention to the description of this book, so I was surprised to find a collection of short stories set all around the island of Manhattan!! The authors are all members of the Mystery Writers of America and they all know how to tell a story - in just a few words and/or pages!!

If you are looking for a quick read, or something to "clear your palate" after a particularly heavy read, this has got you covered. I was familiar with most of the authors and enjoyed all the stories.

A great set of stories set in one of the world's most iconic cities. While the stories are good and stand well on their own, one can't help but be a little disappointed if one was expecting something from the Queen of Suspense herself!
