I am a big fan of Debbie Macomber's books. I have been reading them for years. This one was somewhat disappointing. This is one of her older books, and I have to say her more current books are much better. While I wanted to like the two main characters, it was a struggle. The dialog was pretty bad in parts, and there was a lot of verbal abuse and more sex than I was expecting in a Debbie Macomber book. If you like the later books like Blossom Street and Cedar Cove, this is probably not the book for you. |

I have read many Debbie Macomber books and I just didn’t get this novel. The plot and writing read more like someone who just cranked something out on her dining room table. I could barely finish it, because I didn’t care for the characters and their actions were cliched and predictable. |

Another wonderful Debbie Macomber story. She always puts just enough suspense in the story to keep you going, a bit of wonder but somehow the ending always turns out right. Another hit for Debbie. |
