This was a fun read. If you’re looking for an audiobook that will keep you entertained, laughing out loud and sympathizing with mama bear this is for you. The book is a satire of elite private school in California , and what some mothers are willing to do, in order to keep their status. The characters are intentionally extremely annoying and obnoxious, so don’t get offended by their actions and thoughts.

Moms Like Us is a biting, darkly funny mystery about a glamping trip gone wrong and the lengths mothers will go to to get their best for their children.

I love a juicy story of rich mothers behaving badly. This was a quick, hilarious story of pretty unlikeable women that you can’t help but be entertained by. Helen Laser is excellent.

Ok I really wanted to like this one but it was just meh. I did finish it because the author had me dying to know how these chaotic women’s lives ended !

Overall, the characters kind of meshed together and there was cheating which I didn’t see mentioned or I overlooked it, so that was tough for me.

I did find some parts humorous but others , wildly odd. The bear scene at the end. Dear lawd. πŸ˜‚

I absolutely LOVED the narrator in this story, she’s mainly why I chose the book. She was enjoyable and did bring the characters to life!

I have so many mixed feelings about this book. It was relatable and funny as Moms and as women. But so much infidelity! In general I'm just not a fan of cheating but it was all over in this novel. So with that I'm on the fence.

The perfect blend of Class mom author Laurie Gelman and Big little lies author Liane Moriarty that has an LA mom fighting to support her neurodivergent children and secure her place in the PTA hiearchy. This was funny and relatable and great on audio. Definitely recommended! Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital and audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
