I’m always so nervous for sequels, especially when I really love a book as much as I did the first one. But Geneva Lee didn’t have to worry about a sophomore slump because this book was flawless. It’s giving The Originals, and I’m here for it. Lots of touch here and die. Some very fun witchy moments. All the vampire drama. This book ate and left no crumbs. Can’t wait until the next!

LACHLAN EFFING GAGE. HOLY SMOKES.

I have been absolutely dying to get my hands on book two of FRF as soon as I finished book 1. Let’s say that Geneva Lee somehow packed even more into this book than book 1. Literally picking up where we left off with Cate and Lach, diving right back into all of the action. FRF Fallen court keeps us on the edge of our seats, with the possibility of anything happening at the drop of a dime.

Diving even further into who Lach and Cate are, we watch as they try to figure it all out. Hidden secrets, the ever present threat of death and a spell that could bring it all crashing down at any moment, and I absolutely could not put this down. I gasped, I cried, I shouted (I’m pretty sure people now that I am weird), and loved every second. The characters only got deeper, the betrayal heavier, and Lach has surpassed Julian (Filthy Rich Vampires) in so many more ways than one. The world building was so rich without taking over the story as tends to happen in book 2 of many series, and really helped the characters develop. I am so happy I got to read this, and now I am impatient patiently waiting for book 3.

Thank you Entangled for this early copy, it was greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much to Riki and everyone at Entangled/Amara for an eARC of this novel! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

3.5 stars rounded up ⭐️

First off, I’m gonna need Geneva to pay for my therapy after ANOTHER MASSIVE CLIFFHANGER. I waited a whole year just for the sequel to end like that?! I literally laid in bed after finishing the book and said “YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.” Miss Lee, be expecting a bill from my therapist.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. It did start out a bit slow and that maybe from where it had been so long since I read book one. It took me a moment to remember all of the characters and put myself back in that world. The other issue with the beginning of the book was there was a lot of characters introduced and very quickly. It was definitely hard to keep everyone straight and I had to keep referencing back to the first novel.

I also didn’t like how Lach and Cate were seemingly fighting every other chapter. There were times I had to go back and try to figure out why they were fighting this time. Cate almost assumed Lach was angry with her or trying to push her away and Lach thought the same. This installment was heavy on the miscommunication trope to some degree (sometimes they were just mad at each other to be mad it seems like). It made the book drag on a lot longer than it needed to be.

I do feel like the character development could have used a bit more detail instead of the constant bickering of Lach and Cate. For example, Channing and how he was handling being in the Gage family now after basically betraying his sister. It was mentioned several times that a conversation would need to be had between Channing and Cate but nothing ever came out of it. Another would be Shaw. I can understand why he was kept as a background character but I would have loved to see more development prior to the end of the book. I feel like it would have made what he did more profound.

Same with Ciara and Roark. It was said throughout the book that they acted like something was going on between them but never really gave examples. And then all of a sudden at the end, Lach says Roark and Ciara all but confirmed what he had long suspected. If mates are so rare, why are there two right in front of the Gage family? I would have loved to see more of Ciara and Roark’s interactions to make their possible mate hood more believable.

I did enjoy how Lee brought everything full circle with Cate’s ring and the meaning behind it. I hope we get more Willow in the next book and she gets a chance to explain why she did what she did. We know now that Cate is at least part fae but what else is she? Is she the Terra Court lost princess or is she the witch’s lost princess or something else entirely? Also the wings??? I don’t remember Lach having wings in the Otherworld. That has me questioning things!

Overall I did enjoy the book and cannot wait until the next one. While it felt like it dragged on at times and felt like the character development could have used some extra work, the book kept me engaged and wanting more. I need book three asap. I have to know what happens. There are still so many unanswered questions.

So listen... Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court fully took my heart, stomped on it, and then was like, “See you in book three, babe.” And I, for some unhinged reason, said THANK YOU?? Geneva Lee, ma’am, you are personally responsible for my blood pressure right now.
This book picked up immediately where book one ended and did not let up. I swear I was hanging on for every twist, betrayal, secret, and emotionally charged moment between Cate and Lach. The way this man loves?? Unhinged. Obsessive. Alpha. Secretive. And Cate?? She’s that girl. Loyal, powerful, mouthy—just the right amount of unhinged herself and will sacrifice it all for the ones she loves. They’re chaos and comfort all at once and I love them so bad it hurts.
Also. That ending? Geneva, be honest, do you like causing emotional damage or is it just a hobby? Because I closed the book and immediately started trying to figure out HOW I am supposed to wait for book three when you left me like that?!
The worldbuilding continues to be top-tier fantasy crack. The stakes are high, the magic is darker, the secrets are spicier. And we’re getting deeper into the courts, the Wild Hunt, and possibly some enemies-to-lovers side plot that has my antenna UP.
Basically, I have 17 theories, no patience, and a full-blown book hangover. If you’re not reading this series yet, add it to your TBR immediately. Fae, spice, betrayal, and the kind of obsessive romance that makes you question your standards? YES PLEASE.

In Filthy Rich Fae- Fallen Court, Cate is pulled even deeper into the fae world, where power games, secrets, and dangerous alliances surround her. With the curse still hanging over her and enemies closing in, she has to decide who she can trust—especially Lachlan, whose past and future could destroy everything. As the fae courts move closer to war, Cate is caught between survival, duty, and a love that may cost her everything. The story is fast-paced, emotional, and full of twists that keep you turning the pages.

The fantasy world of vampire, fae and witches intersect in book #2, Fallen Court. We are back in the New Orleans where magic has been slowing disappearing, and launch into the story after the cliffhanger in book #1.

This book follows the pursuits as Lachlan hunts for his mated, Cate, who has been stolen from him. The twists and turns are unrelenting as so much is uncovered, and yet again we have another cliffhanger.

Huge thanks to Entangled Publishing and Geneva Lee for blessing us with Filthy Rich Fae (Fallen Court #2)! I was blessed with an eARC through Entangled Insiders and tore through it

The family drama, Cate’s ring, the romance!
This isn’t your grandma’s slow-burn—it’s full-throttle, heart-racing, “I will always find my way back to you” intensity.
“Lachlan Gage was ruthless. He held New Orleans in the palm of his hands. And I had him on his knees.”

And can we talk about Willow, the sassiest witch bestie to ever drop one-liners?

The final twist? An absolute gut-punch that left my jaw on the floor. Geneva’s plotting is like a rollercoaster in pitch-black—just when you think you’re headed for one drop, she flips the whole track.

Wow! We pick up where we left off from book 1, aka when we fell for Lach, and we just don't stop. Literally, not until the last page when ahem, you'll want to keep going. Cate really impressed me, coming into her own in Lach's world. Plenty will be revealed, but more questions remain. Lach also grows quite a bit in the book, so it's nice to see old dogs learn new tricks. Not that I'm picturing him any different than his typical sleeves rolled up time for business attire. I loved getting more NOLA and more of Lach and Cate!

I am unwell, this book left me NEEDING more. It is not a want, it’s a need. This book was an absolute roller coaster from start to finish, the way it made my heart race almost sent me to the ER. It has everything you want from a fantasy romance, packed with action, mystery and magic. Once I started I could not stop or put it down, Geneva Lee must lace her stories with crack because I’m an addict. Can I have book 3 now please?

Absolutely nothing could have prepared me for this book. It had everything- a continuation of a story I already enjoyed, drama, betrayal, love, spice, fate, and an absolute heart stopper of a twist I never expected. The character building continuation of Lach, the whole Gage family, and Cate was done absolutely masterfully. I fell in love with characters who previously had been flat. I grew to despise others. The only thing this book has left me wanting: the next installment. Trust me, Geneva Lee has outdone all your expectations with Fallen Court.

THIS BOOK OMG. First off, I had to do a quick refresher on book one in order to remember where we were when this book started but oh my god did we start and end with a BANG! This book took me on so many wild turns and twists that I think I quite literally got dizzy in the best way. We get to see our MC's grow both individually and as a couple in this book and as frustrating as some parts were, it was over all glorious and was easy to keep up with despite the chaos. Let me just tell you, the things that we learn/discover/are told in this book are...ugh they're gonna make you wish that the entire series was out and that you didn't have to wait for each next book. That's all I'm saying.

This sequel wasted zero time pulling me back into the world!

Cate, a trauma nurse thrust into the fae underworld, finds herself bound to a powerful prince.

I really enjoyed watching Cate and Lachlan continue to evolve, not just as individuals but as a team. Their connection somehow got even better this time around! The chemistry between them was intense.

I actually liked this more than the first, and a big part of that was seeing Lachlan’s character grow.

If you love high stakes fae romance with tension, magic, and a swoony, brooding prince who finally starts to crack, this sequel seriously delivers.

Thank you Entangled and NetGalley for the ARC.

WOOOW! I was not ready for the twists and sinister turns but man things are getting GOOOOOD!

Cate and Lach are battling so many things and as they get closer to finding truths only more questions arise.

I love a good world of myth shrouded in darkness and Geneva has created such a magical place but one that can be deadly if you don’t watch out!!

I am needing the next book immediately and can not wait to see the rest unfold because it’s going to be agonizingly beautiful!

I can’t wait to see what fate has in store for Cate and Loch and if their bond/love can hold through anything!

An incredible rollercoaster that will guide you down one track just to send you the completely opposite direction. This fantasy world of vampire, fae, and witches transports you to New Orleans where the magic has been slowly depleting.

We pick up where book one left off, Lachlan is a powerful fae who is marked for death and is currently on the run from “The Hunt” while looking for his kidnapped girlfriend Cate who happens to be a human. Geneva’s writing style drew me in and made me feel like I was in New Orleans with all the characters.

This story had so many twists and surprises that had my jaw on the literal floor. I need book three IMMEDIATELY.

Lachlan Gage owns my heart... all over again. Geneva Lee absolutely delivers in the second installment of the Filthy Rich Fae series, and I devoured it. I joined the Read Along with Entangled Publishing, but let’s be honest—I read ahead because I couldn’t stop turning pages.

Fae, vampires, scandal, betrayal, romantic tension that practically sizzles—and a full cast of mythical chaos? Yes, please. This book is addictive in the best way.

Huge thanks to Geneva Lee and Entangled Publishing for the early access and the chance to dive back into this wild, magical world!

I did the unthinkable—I started Filthy Rich Fae: Fallen Court without reading the first book. Risky, I know. Usually, I dive into book one, get totally hooked, and then watch the second book fumble the momentum. This time, I flipped the script—and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised.

Despite missing the backstory, Fallen Court was so well written that it stood strong on its own. The plot was engaging, the characters were compelling, and I never felt truly lost. In fact, treating the first book as a prequel I’ll go back to made this reading experience even more fun.

While it might not be a book I immediately rush to reread, the writing, character development, and especially that ending—wow—definitely earned a solid 4 stars from me. If you're a fan of intense conclusions and high-stakes fae drama, this one’s worth the ride. Just know my unconventional reading order might color my experience a bit.

There was a lot going on with this one! From The Wild Hunt going after Lach, all the different groups being forced to work together, and we had a murder mystery piece thrown in as well. There were some big secrets revealed that had me shocked, but with those revelations left so many questions that I’m looking forward to getting answers. I did enjoy the overall plot of this one however It was a little slow for me in the middle but the pace picked back up again for a shocking ending that I’m still processing. I’m looking forward to the next installment of this series.

Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity to read this book.
I have to say, that this book has kept me on my toes. I’ve been waiting this book, since I finished the first one, and yet again, I can’t wait for the third one.
This book picks up right where it left off, and continues with the story, this book has a lot of answers and a whole lot of surprises!!!
I just would love to know more! Need to know more.
