This book was so much fun! It has intrigue, betrayal, love, found family, fae, vampires, and witches. Really anything you could want in a book. We follow along as Cate, Lach and the family try to protect Lach from the wild hunt and untangle the mystery surrounding Cate. I was sucked in from the beginning.

First I wanted to thank Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for allowing me a chance to read the eARC of Fallen Court. It didn’t disappoint. The story started off a little rough for me because it’s been a hot minute since I read book one but I quickly started remembering what happened (and they gave small snippets of the past).
Lach and Cate are cute. She is good for him. He did tick me off a bit during it at times because he felt he had to be a tough leader (like he was in the first book) but his heart for her was amazing. He truly respects her choice and waits for her consent. Made my cold heart melt every time he waited for her to say yes.
That cliffhanger though….ugh why do I do this to myself. Now I have another book I have to wait for.

Cate Holloway thought entering the dark world of the fae and surrendering her heart to the shadow prince, Lachlan Gage, was life-altering but she has no idea that fate has so much more in store. 4 🌟s
A realm where beauty is a weapon, desire is a trap, and mortals who stray too far don’t return.
Filthy Rich Fae, Fallen Court picks up right where book one leaves off. Cate and Lach must continue to navigate the intricate machinations of the fae courts and fight for their relationship- against both outside forces and their own inherent complexities. They discover new allies, stronger enemies, different magics, ruinous secrets, and epic betrayals around every turn.
I really enjoyed the character growth and the additions to the overall plot in Fallen Court. We learn a lot more about several characters and how the magical landscape is changing. If you enjoyed the first book, this one tops it in a lot of ways. I can’t wait to see what is coming next for this series!

Favorite Quotes & Lines:
“You’re the only thing that chases the darkness away,” he whispered hoarsely, raw emotion coloring his confession. “You are the light in my world.”
“So if you let me die in her place, it will have been worth it to save her, to have one last moment, one more breath, to hear one more beat of my heart knowing that I called her mine.”
Many thanks to NetGalley, Geneva Lee, and Entangled: Amara for the opportunity to read this in advance. All opinions are my own.

Love this book! I read this as part of a read-a-long with Entangled, I’ve been giving daily feedback. I couldn’t put this down. I love the gangster take on the Fae/Vampire/Witches world. I love Care’s strength and intelligence. I love how Lach comes to believe he’s been missing out on the true point of living: family and chosen family. I loved the twists at the end. I knew the initial explanation of the murders was too easy. Can’t wait for the next one! This was a great installment.

I have been longing for book 2 since I started my filthy rich obsession and it was AMAZINGGGG. Lachlan and Cates relationship feels so real, Queen Geneva Lee has captured those raw relationship emotions so well and I just love how feisty Cate is. I'm going to try and keep this as spoiler free as possible but let's just say Lachlan may have been right about Cate. Something happens towards the end which I was so not wanting to happen but as the book progresses it became more and more apparent that Lachlan and Cate were going to be betrayed and I so didn't want it to be who it was but E I really enjoyed how the story evolved and the new characters we got introduced to who added some more humour and intrigue...now I shall be crying in a corner waiting for news of book 3. A solid 4 star read, loved it!!!!
Thank you so much to Entangled Publishing for sending me the ARC for this wonderful book
