This is the 3rd book in the My Vampires series and i have loved every moment of it! Road Trip With a Vampire was just as good as the 1st and 2nd. I loved the chemistry between Zelda and Peter! This was such a cute and cozy read! I loved that Zelda was a witch which kind of shifted from how the other two books were and I loved that!

Roadtrip with a Vampire is hands down my favorite of Jenna Levine’s books Zelda and Peter completely stole my heart. Grumpy witch + hot amnesiac vampire + chaotic road trip = paranormal perfection. I laughed, I swooned, I need more immediately. 🧛♂️🖤✨ #bookrecs #bookreview #bookrecommendations #bookworm #bookstagrammer

A super cute and funny road trip romance with just the right mix of sweet and spicy. The premise? A vampire who’s lost all his memories crosses paths with a witch running a yoga studio… and naturally, a chaotic, magical road trip ensues.
This one is packed with some of my favourite tropes (grumpy x sunshine, forced proximity, only one bed) and it pulls them off in such a fun, satisfying way. Zelda was hilarious and so refreshingly real, and Peter was incredibly charming in his own gruff way. Watching their relationship grow over the course of their journey was genuinely heartwarming.
I’m a big mood/seasonal reader, and this book feels like the perfect blend of summer-meets-fall energy. And the timing is perfect too, since it comes out this September!
Also… can we talk about that cover? I’m obsessed.
Thank you to NetGalley, Berkley Publishing Group, and Jenna Levine for the opportunity to read this book and provide my honest review!

Holyyyy I love this series!!! It's so entertaining, laugh out loud funny, vampires, witches, oh my.
Instantly need more!

Road Trip with a Vampire is the final stop in Jenna Levine’s paranormal romance series, and what a cozy, slightly chaotic road it’s been. This time, the spotlight falls on Zelda—a centuries-old witch who has officially retired from the magical grind—and Peter, a vampire with no memory but a knack for accidentally wandering into the lives of witches at inconvenient hours. What begins as a late-night disturbance quickly becomes a magical, cross-country quest to recover Peter’s past and Zelda’s sense of self.
Zelda was such a refreshing lead. She’s powerful, capable, and deeply tired—not just of magic, but of everything it cost her. There’s something inherently compelling about characters who have been through too much to be easily impressed, and watching her slowly begin to trust again, to hope again, was deeply rewarding. Peter, on the other hand, brings a softer, more vulnerable energy to the book. He may be undead, but his confusion, humor, and slow unraveling of identity make him feel more alive than most.
Where previous books leaned into snark and playful banter, this one simmers with quieter moments—glances, long drives, shared silences, and the slow build of intimacy between two people (well, technically not people) who’ve both lived far too long without connection. The alternating points of view added richness to their dynamic, especially as Peter began to piece together who he used to be—and who he might want to become now.
Fans of the series will also enjoy the return of familiar faces like Reggie and Frederick. There’s something comforting about revisiting past characters and seeing where they’ve landed. The switch from human/vampire to witch/vampire brought a new energy to this final book and kept the world feeling fresh.
Admittedly, this installment is a bit more introspective than the previous two. There’s less laugh-out-loud vampiric absurdity and more emotional growth, but it works. The shift in tone fits the journey these characters are on—and if you’ve been waiting for a witch/vampire pairing, this one delivers.
For readers who like:
-Witch/vampire dynamics
-Magical road trips
-Paranormal romance
Final Verdict
Jenna Levine wraps up her series with warmth, a little sadness, and a lot of heart. Road Trip with a Vampire isn’t just a romance—it’s a story about reclaiming magic, memory, and meaning after you’ve lost your way. It’s a satisfying, emotional send-off to a world I’ll miss dearly.

Road Trip with a Vampire by Jenna Levine is a charming slow burn romance that makes delightful use of the road trip trope. The story creates forced proximity between Zelda and Peter, giving them plenty of time to connect, spar, and slowly unravel Peter's mysterious past. Their banter is witty, their chemistry strong, and the journey to uncover Peter’s memory serves as a tender vehicle for emotional bonding. It’s light, engaging, and left me smiling.
Thank you NetGalley and Berkely Publishing for the advanced reader copy. This is my honest review.

This book pulled me in right from the start. A witch in hiding, trying to live an ordinary life, suddenly meets a mysterious vampire with brown eyes? I was completely on board.
I didn’t read the first book in this series, but at no point did I feel lost or unsure of what was going on. The story flowed smoothly, and the pacing made it easy to stay engaged. The writing was cleverly crafted, with just the right balance of sharp dialogue, character insight, and humor. It felt effortless to read while still delivering depth and momentum.
One of my favorite parts was unraveling the mystery of Peter’s identity alongside Zelda. There was something incredibly satisfying about watching the pieces slowly come together. The way the author revealed details kept me invested, and it felt like Zelda and the reader were truly uncovering his past at the same pace. Even though I saw the climax coming before it hit, it still managed to hold my attention and deliver a satisfying payoff.
Peter and Zelda’s chemistry was undeniable from the very beginning. Every time they interacted, I couldn’t help but feel a bit giddy. Their banter added a spark that made their connection feel real, and their differences only made the dynamic more interesting. When they finally came back together, it didn’t feel forced or too neat. The reconciliation was handled with care, giving space for growth and genuine resolution, which made the ending feel all the more earned.
I do just need to add in a small note that I absolutely loved the effect Diet Coke had on Peter. It was a little extra detail that felt so fun!
Overall, this book delivered exactly what I was hoping for: a blend of romance, tension, and a little bit of magic, all told through writing that felt both polished and engaging. It struck a great balance between plot and character, and left me with that full, satisfied feeling I always chase when picking up a romancd book. I’ll definitely be recommending it to anyone who loves supernatural stories with heart, heat, and just the right amount of mystery!
Thanks so much to Berkley Publishing and the author for the eARC through NetGalley. All opinions are my own!

i just couldn’t get connected to these characters, and unfortunately the romance felt very awkward and forced. very 0-100 in my opinion, idk… i just couldn’t get very interested in this one. fun concept, but just wasn’t for me :/

Witches, fangs, and feelings—Levine’s supernatural rom-com hits the gas in all the right ways.
Road Trip with a Vampire is a quirky, heart-filled adventure full of slow-burn chemistry, laugh-out-loud moments, and emotional surprises. When reformed bad witch Zelda reluctantly agrees to help a devastatingly handsome vampire with amnesia, what starts as a mystery-filled mission quickly turns into a swoony, one-bed, forced-proximity romance with real emotional depth.
Levine balances humor and heart beautifully, delivering magical mayhem, found family vibes, and a hero you can’t help but root for. A perfect blend of cozy chaos and romantic tension—this is supernatural rom-com done right.
Thank you SO much to Berkley and Jenna Levine for the eARC!

3.5 stars (rounded up)
A cute read, more on the lighthearted side, also it’s got spice but it’s not spice spice, it’s fluffy spice if that makes sense.
A vampire with amnesia and a witch with secrets. Obviously, go on a road trip. During said road trip you get slow burn and tension out the wazooooo! The plot gets a tiny bit lost during the read but it’s still a decent read. I enjoyed it.
Thank you NetGalley and Berkley for the eARC. Review links to come closer to publication date.

I really enjoy reading this series- it's a fun, cozy, and funny romance. For this one I liked that our main character Zelda was a witch, so she knew the aspects of the vampire world and magic system. I loved the road trip aspect of this story and the mystery of Peter's memories and what happened to him. The close proximity of the road trip also really helped show the chemistry between the two!
One thing I really didn't like was the amount of pop culture references- I found it a bit excessive
Overall it was a cute, fun, and bingeable read :)

I’ve been hooked on this series from the beginning, and each book has become my favorite. But OMG y’all, I think this one is the best.
We first “met” Zelda back in My Vampire Roommate Plus-One and I couldn’t wait to learn more about her! Don’t worry, she’s the coolest freaking witch ever and I love her SO MUCH.
“𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬, 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮.”
Grizelda the Terrible or Zelda to her friends, is a centuries old witch with a wild past. A past she’s currently trying to make amends for. Enter Peter (my newest book boyfriend 😏) a tall, dark and handsome man with amnesia. He wakes remembering only his name, with a strong desire to visit California…and a thirst for human blood. Sent Zelda’s way by their mutual friend (Reggie!!!) Peter hopes she’ll be the one to help him get his memories back. Together, they set off on a roadtrip to retrace his last steps…and they find a lot more than they bargained for!
A dash of Practical Magic, a pinch of While You Were Sleeping and a sprinkle of your favorite vampire movie. This book is fun as hell and sooo sexy!!! Jenna, you’ve done it again (also please don’t block me after all the messages I sent you. I’m just a little obsessed with this book and I love you! 😭😂).
Oh friends, I cannot wait for you to read this masterpiece! It’s out September 23rd and you need to preorder itttt. You’ll thank me later 😘
Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I love y’all!

A fun addition to the series. A unique cute plot and I wish we’d gotten to know Zelda more in the previous books. It was a little slow in the middle which is the reason for three not four stars but overall very fun and I enjoyed the ending. Sad to conclude this trilogy. .

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for giving me this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
This is the last book in the "My Vampires" series by Jenna Levine and I'm soooo sad this series has come to an end.
I enjoyed all the characters, the banter, the slow burn, and there were many moments I laughed out loud.
I truly had such a good time reading this book.
The cameos from the other characters from book 1 and book 2 were great.
Overall I think Jenna did a great job at wrapping this series up and I look forward to reading what Jenna writes next!

The cover is so cute it really had me fooled. I made it 30% then skimmed for another 10% because it was so slow
And nothing of interest was happening. I felt zero chemistry between Zelda and Peter. It just wasn’t for me. I gave it 2 Stars instead of 1 because the little excerpts at the top of the chapters were somewhat interesting. I had high hopes for this one, but it fell flat.

Oh my goodness. My heart is broken that this is the final book in the series, but it certainly went out with a bang. Zelda and Peter have such a tender love- I love that they were both on a journey of finding themselves again. In the midst of the tenderness were some of the most “laugh out loud” funny scenes I’ve ever read.
I loved the cameos and callbacks to the previous books, it was so nice to see Reggie and Amelia & Fredrick and Cassie. I’m so obsessed with this series

3.75 stars. I really enjoyed the first book of this series, and then thought book 2 was a bit of a let down but this one brought the energy right back! This was really entertaining and a quick read and I loved the mystery elements of how these two characters came together. My main gripe with it is that there is a large plot point/conflict that it builds up to until about 75% through the book and it is not resolved by the end! The epilogue hit and I was like wait a minute we never wrapped that up... and I figured maybe there would be a fourth book to address it but the authors note says the series is now complete. that is upsetting to me as I'm confused how that was just not fully flushed out but at least there was a happy ending for our characters. All in all, I enjoyed these goofy vampire books and had a good time you just can't take them too seriously.
Thank you to NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Jenna Levine has done it again! All of her vampire romances are so cute and so fun! This one had me cackling out loud at the library! I was going to read this in the fall, but I could not wait. This is another five star in the series! These characters have my whole heart

Silly! But, I did find the modern references a bit annoying (seriously, how many times do we need to be told they're listening to Chappel Roan?!) Other than that though, I really enjoyed the shenanigans Zelda and Peter got into on their road trip. I just wish i cared a bit more about it all, especially after loving books 1 and 2.

There's just something about Jenna Levine and this series that I absolutely LOVE! We've seen glimpses of Zelda in previous books, but I was excited when I realized this one was all about her! Peter is all tall, dark, and brooding (partially due to the amnesia lol), but their chemistry worked so well. I'm so sad this is the last in the series!
