I love a book that knows how to make me laugh, and this one was PERFECT! Zelda is a very powerful witch who has turned a new leaf, where she doesn't use magic. She has a yoga studio where she works and lives as "normally" as possible. One night, she meets Peter, a very attractive, very sweet, very kind, and demure vampire who has amnesia. Zelda decides to travel with him to California in order to figure out how to get his memories back. This is a super fun rom-com with lots of banter and a whole lot of chaos. I think one of the reasons why I loved this book so much was because of how chaotic it was. I have never been on an easy road trip; something always goes wrong, or something happens, and you have to figure out what to do. I loved the pacing of this book as well as the storyline. The characters had a lot of chemistry and are both very likable. Love it!
Read if you like:
=Vampire x Witch
-Slow burn
-Rom Com
-Forced Proximity
Thank you Berkeley and netgalley for the e-arc!

Thank you to Berkeley Publishing Group and NetGalley for the ARC of this book! These are my honest thoughts and opinions.
This book was so cute! I love the idea of a present day rom-com roadtrip and if one of the characters is a super hot vampire then who am I to complain? Zelda and Peter had great chemistry between them and the build-up of their relationship felt right. The author nailed the pacing of the relationship development. I was so curious about Peter's past and the author dropped enough hints along the way that I wasn't totally surprised when the big reveal came.
This was a really fun story with likable characters that I wanted to root for. It was refreshing to read about a 400yo witch with a younger (though still old in human years) male vampire.

I love when romance authors write a series of spinoffs including characters from previous books. It was so fun seeing some repeats (hello Reginald) but then diving more into stories (mainly Grizelda’s) that we only had glimpses of before. Peter was such a sweetheart and I enjoyed learning more of his backstory. This book was a fun read and perfect for a roadtrip vacation lol. The romance was on point, if a little fast paced given the short timeline.

Such a cute addition to the Vampire series! I have loved the other two vampire books by Jenna Levine and this one did not disappoint! Amnesia and a roadtrip definitely mix for a fun time with a witch involved!

I always enjoy reading Jenna Levine work. I love her theme on witch and vampire romance. It is a spooky fun ride, halloween read for me. I like it. I've read the series. I enjoy it can't wait until its published. True fun read for me.

i had no idea this was part of a series but I had no trouble picking up on the story! i’m planning to go back and read the rest of the series but I love that it could be read as a standalone

3 Stars! This is the 3rd & final book in the ‘My Vampires’ series and can be read as a standalone. I missed the first 2 books but was able to pick up with this book with no issues. The main characters are Zelda & Peter. I liked them both at first, especially Peter since he had amnesia & was a bit lost in the book. I wish I had magic powers like Zelda, that would be awesome. Their reasons for falling out was kinda lame but it made up for it in the epilogue. All in all, it was a cute book.
*I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.*

I cut my romance teeth on historicals, where amnesia is a well-known (and in my case, loved) plot device, but it's far less common in contemporary romance. When Jenna announced this third book in her vampire series was going to be not only a road trip book (forever a personal favorite) but ALSO an amnesia storyline, I was SAT.
I've done enough road trips across various parts of the US to have run into my fair share of...interesting...sights along the way. Jenna's campy humor is the perfect complement to this sort of hilarity. I had to put the book down more than once to get over my giggles before I moved on (shoutout to the animatronic chickens & especially one well-placed cushion).
Zelda, ancient in a thirty something body (the millennial experience via immortal witch, tbh) is a fun take on redemption and forgiving yourself. She has such depth to her character, at times a clueless "old person" who is simply baffled by goat yoga, but then also a terribly powerful witch. It made her chemistry with Peter, a competent vampire clueless about his past, a constant push/pull that kept me turning pages to see what these two crazy (not at all kids) would get up to next. And without giving anything away, by the time you get to the end and have a full picture of both their characters, the through-lines that they share are so artfully woven into the storytelling that even without their excellent chemistry you just need these two to end up together.
Sad as I am to see the end of this series, it's an excellent endcap (complete with fun cameos from familiar faces!) Thank you to Berkley & Jenna for the advance copy!

Received this as an ARC. I have read all of this series and for me this was the best. We finally have a reverse of the typical age gap romance. Ha! Both characters have growth, fun adventures, and laugh out loud moments.
If you’ve read the series you will not be upset with this final addition.
If you’re just hearing about the series for the first time this could work as a stand alone. There are mention of the previous characters and small interactions with them. However, other than minor spoilers of how their books turned out (come on they are romance novels you knew the spoilers already) you won’t be lost in the moments with those characters.

Jenna Levine delivers charm, bite, and banter with the precision of a seasoned spellcaster. Road Trip with a Vampire is the paranormal rom-com we didn’t know we needed—until it sunk its teeth in and refused to let go. Preorder this one for your spooky season shelf and thank me later.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Spice: 3/5 (Open door)
Tropes: Groveling, Forced proximity, One Bed (kinda), Forbidden Love vibes
A paranormal romance between a witch & a vampire? SAY LESS! Zelda is running from her past, while Peter is an amnesiac vampire that is trying to put the pieces of his past back together.
Jenna Levine knows how to write a vamp that is a cinnamon roll, so I think the team Stefan girlies would eat this up. But also ppl that are team Damon bc he’s a reformed bad boy.
I really enjoyed the dynamic of this paranormal romance. There is a mystery element that worked well with the plot!
I will say that I did find this to be a bit too long. I was hoping we would get more clues or information throughout the road trip to keep the level of intrigue up.
What I liked:
- The smut is good, not overkill or cringy
- Loved how the alt timeline was done. There are snippets of the past that are the perfect length, so they don’t make it too info dumpy!
What I didn’t like:
- The aimless parts of the road trip made the plot lag at times
- The miscommunication part of the story could have been condensed
- The ending was a bit too long & underwhelming
- There is an action scene that was cut short IMO
Thank you so much to Netgalley & to Berkley for my very first e-arc!

Why is this series coming to an end?! 😩 I’ve adored every book in this series and this one made me fall in love with another quirky vampire all over again 🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🌶️
After hearing about Grizzelda in the last two books I was glad we finally got to hear her story! These books are just so fun and will have you laughing out loud while reading.
I thought the witch x vampire element was fun and we get not only a ONE BED trope but a FUCK IT as well that had me SCREAMING.
I liked how grumpy Peter was and how he supported Zelda along the way. The tension was sooooo good and the big smut scene was 🥵🥵
I will say it did start out a bit slow and I was missing that trademark Levine fun, witty banter in the beginning but quickly made up for it once you get more into the story. I also clocked the whole mystery subplot about 10% in so the plot twist didn’t surprise me.
If you love a good rom com with funny immortal men definitely give this series a go! I’ll forever be a Reggie fan for his antics.
🖤 Big thanks to Jenna Levine, Berkley and NetGalley for an early copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions!

I was so excited to get an ARC of this book! I love Jenna Levine, and I have loved the vampire books!
This book was fun! Solving a mystery, road trip, media snippets, and of course, shenanigans!
As with the other books, I laughed. It was chaotic with humor.
Peter was adorable - he was the cutest vampire, and I loved him.
Zelda! The journal entries were a neat thing to read. She was sassy, and I loved her character.
The road trip was a perfect setting for this plot and adventure in mystery solving.
While the story is chaotic and the characters are constantly moving on the road, the plot remains well structured, and the pace was PERFECT for a road trip story.
The characters were well-developed. I was able to connect with them for the most part. I did find some areas of the book that were a bit cringe, so I wasn't able to feel engaged occasionally, but for the most part, I connected.
The slow burn between Peter and Zelda was cute.
As always, Jenna Levine makes me laugh and engage in the silliest plots and characters that I end up adoring.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity read this ARC and write a review.
I highly suggest this book for your Fall TBR!
Happy Reading!

Road Trip with a Vampire has been my introduction to Jenna Levine's work, and has absolutely convinced me to go back and buy the rest of this series. Her protagonists, for all that they aren't human at all, are so wonderfully human in their characterizations, their imperfections and different ways of existing. This book was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to backtrack and learn more about some of the friends we made along the way in this Road Trip with a Vampire!

This was really cute! And hot! I breezed through the first two books in this series without ever fully connecting with either lead, but I felt an instalove for Zelda and Peter. I was initially disappointed by the lack of Peter POV, but his third-person flashbacks quickly made up for it. The third act breakup lasted a little too long for my liking - maybe some of that time could've been spent following Peter's new life? (the epilogue came a little bit out of nowhere) - and it seemed to go a little bit against what Zelda had repeatedly assured Peter throughout the book (trying to be vague so as not to spoil!), but I still loved it.

Probably my favorite of the Vampire series! I love that we got to see a witch in these instead of just the vampires! The magic system was super fun and added and extra element of excitement!
I really liked Zelda and Peter each as characters and together as a couple and the amnesia coupled with a memory road trip was very fun plot wise!
Perfect if you want a fun paranormal romance romp!

I really love everything that Jenna Levine has written and this one was a great addition to the rest of her books!

4.5 stars
I enjoyed this book so much more than I was expecting! Like the previous two books, it was a little bit cheesy and over the top but it was also so fun and Peter had me giggling and kicking my feet the whole time.
From their very first meeting there was definitely a connection between Zelda and Peter. Peter had kind of a sad, lost puppy vibe and Zelda couldn’t resist helping him (even though she really tried).
I love a roadtrip book and this one was so fun. Peter and Zelda set out with almost no plan other than to visit places that Peter had been before and it turns out some of those places were a little ridiculous. I loved all their little side adventures and how grumpy Peter was about them all. It was clear that the only thing he enjoyed was being with Zelda. Their relationship was basically instant connection followed by repressed pining. They had so much chemistry and watching them try to fight it while enduring forced proximity (and only one bed!) was fantastic. Peter was so hot and protective of Zelda and everything he said to her had me swooning. He was so serious and intense but also kind of a goofball.
I really liked how each chapter started with a little flashback of Peter’s life. It was really interesting to piece together his past throughout the book and I could not have predefined what everything built up to. The way Peter’s past tied to the present was so well done and full of twists and turns and I really enjoyed it.
I felt like there were maybe a few ends that didn’t get tied up at the end of the book, like if Zelda kept control of her magic and what was going on with the collective (also possible I just completely forgot lol) but I really didn’t mind. I thought this book was so fun and I really loved how it ended.
Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC!!

I read this ARC as a standalone, this was the first book I’ve read from this author, and I really enjoyed it. It can be read as a standalone with only minimal confusion.
Just little inside jokes between other characters missed (I suspect) everything else happens on page (memory)or is described as happening on page from the previous books.
Super cute, easy to read and fun
Low stakes (only one fight scene)
Amnesia instead of miscommunication trope, which was a fun change.
It was definitely a slow burn, but the romance was worth it
Our guy, Peter is hot and there is chemistry right away, however and Zelda does not trust him and why the hell should she?????
She’s got friends and a yoga studio counting on her, but for some reason, she just can’t help herself when poor puppy dog Peter needs her

This book is the third one in the My Vampires series. If I could give this book more than five stars, I absolutely would! This romance fantasy novel had it all! It came with comedy, wit, lovable characters and was full of adventure! It had a witch, a vampire, forced proximity and unpredictable twists. I felt their emotions and chemistry while reading this.
It is a fast paced read that you will not want to put down! This is where the cover of the book completely matches the story’s vibe! This is a paranormal, magical, uplifting and an enemies to lovers story that I adored beyond words!
Thank you to NetGalley, author Jenna Levine and Berkley Publishing Group for this digital advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my honest review! All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
This book is expected to be published on October 14, 2025!
