This supernatural rom-com hit all the right notes! A vampire with amnesia, a reformed bad witch, and a quirky road trip — what’s not to love? Peter and Zelda’s journey was a fun mix of mystery, humor, and heart. I loved watching them grow closer with each strange pit stop. Sad to see the series end, but eager to see what comes next!

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.
I devoured this book! There is something about the way Jenna Levine writes cozy vampire romances that just hits the spot for me. The cuteness of the couple, the spice, and the story all read as a cozy spicy romantasy.
I read this is the last book in the trilogy, and I wish she would keep writing in this universe! I think there are so many areas for her to explore. There are more questions I have. Even an epilogue novella would be nice to finish up all three of the stories so we know how their happily ever afters look like.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for and ARC of this funny rom com with a twist of paranormal. I love reading Jenna Levine. Zelda and Peter are hilarious together. Their cross country adventures will make you laugh and melt your heart. While I am sad this is the last book in the My Vampire series, I am excited to see what is next!

Summary in Brief
Zelda is just a normal girl who owns a yoga studio… not. She’s actually a powerful witch who’s been trying to keep a low profile while reforming her ways. And Peter? He’s just a normal guy who prefers night shifts and has a taste for blood… and also has amnesia. These two embark on a wild road trip to help him recover his memories.
Genre + Plot
Tropes: Paranormal/Monster Romance, Forced Proximity, Amnesia, Strangers to Lovers, Third-Act Breakup
I'm a big Jenna Levine fan and absolutely loved her first book in this series, *My Roommate Is a Vampire*. I recommend reading the series in order. Some things might not make sense otherwise, and you may miss certain relationships and references. That said, it’s not a strict requirement. I love that Jenna Levine writes smart, witty, strong women and quirky, not-from-this-century men. It makes for great writing and an entertaining reading experience.
Our FMC, Zelda, used to be a badass witch (honestly still is?) who wreaked havoc and pulled pranks for centuries, until one of her pranks went too far and people got hurt. Since then, she’s been hiding out in California, running a yoga studio and trying not to use her magic. I love that her character has such a complex past. When you're reading her thoughts, you wouldn’t immediately guess she had a darker side, but hey, people change, right? At the beginning of each chapter, there’s usually a little “newspaper clipping” about a story from her past, which is a fun and clever touch.
Our MMC, Peter, is a vampire with amnesia. He shows up one day and bumps into Zelda, who he’s instantly drawn to, but he has no idea who he is or why he’s in California. He and Zelda then embark on a road trip to revisit places he’s been in hopes of jogging his memory. I really liked Peter. He’s described as tall, dark, and handsome, but also has a sweet side—he’s a total cinnamon roll when it comes to Zelda.
Right from the start, even though they’re total strangers, there’s a palpable tension and attraction between them that they can’t deny. I appreciated how Zelda opened up to Peter about her past, and how he listened without judgment. She’d been carrying a lot of guilt and self-doubt, and he really helps her begin to heal. The way they come together feels very natural and organic. I also loved all the nuggets with the previous book characters too.
As the story progressed, it was pretty easy to predict where things were headed and what the major conflict would be that causes the third-act breakup. I was hoping it wouldn’t happen—but alas. That said, even though there’s a breakup, they genuinely listen to each other’s explanations, hear each other out, and there’s a fair amount of groveling involved (which never hurts). It had a very satisfying ending!
Final Thoughts
Overall, another favorite by Jenna Levine! This book is quick, witty, down-to-earth, and an overall cozy romance read that I loved.

"I will never be worthy of you after what I've done. But you are the first good thing to happen to me in longer than I can remember. I will spend the rest of my existence trying to make it up to you."
Jenna Levine did it again! This book was so much fun and had me enjoying every minute of it.
Who doesn't love road trips? Add in a vampire, a witch, and a dash of mystery, and it's the makings of a perfect rom-com.
Peter is a vampire with amnesia, and Zelda is a reformed bad witch. She's willing to go on a road trip in hopes of helping Peter remember who he is. They visit some of the strangest places, which also makes for the most fun.
I loved seeing their journey and watching them grow closer! This was definitely another feel-good supernatural rom-com, and I'm sad to see this series come to an end. However, I'm excited to see what she comes up with next!

3.5 stars, rounded up.
This is a fun romance between a witch doing everything she can to escape her past and a vampire with amnesia who has no memory of his past.
Grizelda "Zelda" Watson, formerly known as "Grizelda the Terrible," is a witch-turned-yoga-instructor who has sworn off using her magic and has chosen to live a quiet, normal life after decades of getting into trouble. When Peter, an amnesiac vampire, shows up at her yoga studio, Zelda offers to help him. Soon, Peter gets a threatening message that has him and Zelda embarking on a cross-country road trip looking for clues about his past.
I enjoyed this book and thought it had an interesting premise, but I had a hard time connecting with the characters or getting into the story. I would still recommend this book, especially for fans of the first two books in the series!
This book features:
- witch x vampire
- road trip
- amnesia
- only one bed
- grumpy/sunshine
Thank you so much to Berkley Publishing Group for the free ebook in exchange for my honest review!

Ughhh, I really wanted to love this one—and I’m so bummed to say it just didn’t work for me.
The premise? Super fun: a vampire with amnesia and a witch go on a road trip together. I was ready for something magical, quirky, and a little chaotic… but honestly, it fell kind of flat. I found myself getting bored around the halfway point and just waiting for the story to wrap up.
I struggled to connect with the characters—especially the FMC. Her reason for avoiding magic felt underwhelming (like girl, really? THAT’S why?). And the romance? Waaay too rushed for my taste. There just wasn’t enough development or emotional payoff to keep me invested.
I adored My Roommate Is a Vampire, so I definitely went into this one with high hopes. While this wasn’t a total miss, it just didn’t bring the charm or depth I was hoping for.
Huge thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

I love the my vampires series so much and really enjoyed this conclusion! Zelda is a really fun character and I liked getting to meet her. I also enjoyed getting a bit more background on Reggie and his past exploits. It felt very fitting that Reggie was the catalyst to the events in this story as well as the other two. I think at this point the series could be renamed Reggie causes issues and people fall in love.
The mystery of Peter's past was interesting to unravel. I really enjoyed watching him and Zelda visit the places he had been. Watching Zelda needle Peter was fun and I liked that they connected on their feelings about their past. This story explored what it means to be immortal in a way that I thought was really interesting. I did wish that the third act breakup had been handled a bit differently but the HEA made up for it.
If you have enjoyed this series or like a paranormal romcom this one is for you. These vampires will make you laugh and question the basis of goat yoga. I am sad this series is ending but excited to see what Jenna Levine writes next.

This book is such a fun read and Great last book to series. A which and vampire yall who doesnt love it. I do I couldnt stop reading it so I could figure out what was gonna happen.

Maybe a 3.5?
Not 100% sure how I feel about this book. I enjoyed it, but some moments felt kind of bleh. I think I enjoyed the other books in the series a little better. I honestly just don't know what to say.
Thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group.

i loved this!! I'm so sad that this vampire series is coming to an end, but i think this was the perfect sendoff to these characters and this world, and I'm so excited for what the author will write next.

I just want to start off by saying how much I loved this adorable, yet hilarious romance series. I am truly sad that it is actually over😭 I’m low key hoping that there will be a novella in the future possibly? I would love to see all the couples come together and see how their lives are since they left off kind of unknown in the books.
Even though this is a series, they don’t necessarily need to be read in order or all together. I do recommend it because you do meet the other characters in this series and the last one as well. When we were introduced Zelda in the previous book I was definitely intrigued by her back story. When you hear “Grizelda the terrible” you think of someone as someone to is obviously terrible, but Zelda was the complete opposite. I mean who can be terrible running a yoga studio? When you read her back story and learn why she got that name and how she never uses her powers you definitely feel for her.
The fact that Peter and Zelda meet in the first few chapters without it feeling rushed was a plus for me. I loved their story, I loved how they both had a backstory and how they had an immediate connection from the start. And Peter, ugh poor Peter. I knew he was a walking red flag but I didn’t care, he was perfect in my eyes. I usually don’t like the second act breakup trope but this was done so well that I honestly didn’t care. And the spice?! Chefs kiss🤌🏻😏
If you like the more lighthearted romances with a bit of fantasy then this is definitely for you. It was fast paced, had great banter, a plot that made sense and great spice. This series definitely got me out of my reading slump with how much I laughed while reading it! The only downside? I wish this wasn’t the final book😭😂

I have read the other books in the my vampire series, I sadly did not enjoy this one as much as I have the other ones. I felt no chemistry between the two main characters.. and once the romance did start it kinda happened out of nowhere ? It was very rushed and just awkward honestly. They went from 0-100 in a chapter. I will say the climax of the story was pretty interesting.. the climax in all of the books in this series are fun and lighthearted this one was a little more serious.
The whole tone of this book was a little heavier. The female MC was annoying and having the whole " poor me " persona was exhausting. Other than that it was an ok read, very easy to get through.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for providing this book, with my honest review below.
Roadtrip with a Vampire is the wrap up of the My Vampires series, which follows paranormal characters (like vampires and [now] witches) as they live in human society hiding their identities… and falling in love.
In the final book we follow Zelda, a witch who has shut out the paranormal world in an effort to keep to herself - and keep her secrets under wraps. She doesn’t need a mysterious man who doesn’t really know anything about his past saddled to her but that’s what she gets when Reginald, who she owes a favor to, asks her to help. And while she and Peter are not the same (not least which drinking diet soda doesn’t get her drunk) she soon finds she needs Peter as much as he needs her.
I loved the eccentric characters and the road trip setting may be a trope but it’s one that really works here (including all the accompanying tropes that come with it). A killer ending to a really fun series, this is incredibly entertaining.

“A vampire who can’t remember his past and a witch with secrets of her own hit the road in this zany, cross-country romantic comedy from beloved author Jenna Levine.”
This is hands down the best book in the series.
I am so happy to get to experience this book! Everyone should read this and go back to read the other books if they have not. I highly recommend them. This book is an amazing end to this vampire rom-com humor series. If you're in a reading slump, you will devour this book in 24 hours like I did. It was so bingeable and easy to sink into!
I am so sad that there won’t be anymore books in this series, #myvampire, but hopefully, Jenna will write more books.

While I loved the characters, the pacing was really slow on this one. So much so that I DNF’d at 70 percent.
I love this author though and think this was a one off situation

Exactly what it says on the cover! A witch and an amnesiac vampire go on a rollicking romp from California to the Midwest, learning more about each other and themselves along the way. Zelda's knowledge of vampires means that she figures out Peter's eccentricity pretty quickly, so the conflict arises as they delve into the shady corners of his recent past. And of course, there are a couple deliciously bite-y romance scenes.

I had my hesitations going into this book because I felt as though the late introduction of Zelda felt forced, but this may be my favorite book in the series. I love a road trip story, I love a story with only one bed, and I love a story where a witch grows into herself. This book was so fun, and definitely kept me turning the pages trying to get to the next chapter.

*Road Trip with a Vampire* is a delightfully quirky and fun romantic comedy that mixes supernatural mystery with heartfelt moments. Jenna Levine delivers a breezy, entertaining story featuring Grizelda “Zelda” Watson, a reformed bad witch trying to leave her chaotic past behind, and Peter Elliott, a charming vampire with amnesia. Their cross-country journey is filled with witty banter, quirky magical mishaps, and a slow-burning romance that feels both fresh and engaging. The blend of humor, supernatural lore, and road trip vibes keeps the pages turning, while the deeper themes of identity and trust add emotional weight. Perfect for readers who enjoy lighthearted paranormal romance with plenty of charm and sass.

4.25 stars ARC book review
I love a good road trip story and Road Trip with a Vampire really hit the mark for me. In this third installment in the My Vampires series we get to know Zelda, a witch with a long and sorted history, and Peter, a vampire with amnesia. They set off together on a cross-country road trip, each with their own problems to solve.
Having read and loved the first two books, I was excited to continue the series. I thought Zelda and Peter had great chemistry and absolutely loved their road trip adventures and mishaps. The music references had me giggling. I also loved that we see the witch and her journey, how she deals with immortality and her powers.
