This book is the third one in the My Vampires series. If I could give this book more than five stars, I absolutely would! This romance fantasy novel had it all! It came with comedy, wit, lovable characters and was full of adventure! It had a witch, a vampire, forced proximity and unpredictable twists. I felt their emotions and chemistry while reading this.
It is a fast paced read that you will not want to put down! This is where the cover of the book completely matches the story’s vibe! This is a paranormal, magical, uplifting and an enemies to lovers story that I adored beyond words!
Thank you to NetGalley, author Jenna Levine and Berkley Publishing Group for this digital advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my honest review! All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
This book is expected to be published on October 14, 2025!

Road Trip With A Vampire🛣️🧛🏼
3.5⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Pub Date: Oct 14th
Thank you to Berkley Publishing & Netgalley for this e-arc. If you know me, you know I love vampires. I read the previous two books in this series and enjoyed them very much! I was pumped when this got announced, especially with some new faces as our main characters.
This one was so fun to read and I loved the magic elements of it. The FMC is a witch so we got to see some magical elements which added to the story. There was also some “mystery?” Quite a few things were predictable and the writing wasn’t the BEST, but it was still entertaining. The first 50% had me kicking and giggling, the second 50% dragged on too much for me.
Overall this was an entertaining book & will be perfect for the fall when it comes out in october!

Road Trip with a Vampire by Jenna Levine is a delightful blend of humor, heart, and supernatural romance that brings a satisfying close to her My Vampire series. Full disclosure: I’ve been a fan from the start, thoroughly enjoying both My Roommate is a Vampire and My Vampire Plus One. This final installment continues the charm and delivers a fresh, fun love story.
In this book, we meet Grizelda “Zelda” Watson - a once-feared witch who has swapped her magical antics for inner peace - now teaching yoga and living a peaceful life in California. That peace is quickly disrupted when a vampire named Peter Elliott appears in an alley, watching her.
Peter hasn’t come to fight; he’s come for help. Sent by Zelda’s old friend Reggie, Peter is struggling with amnesia and searching for answers, armed only with a cryptic journal and fragments of memory that point to Chicago. As her magic becomes more difficult to control, and their relationship builds, she decides that joining Peter on a cross-country trip to Chicago might allow them to find answers to both of their problems
Even if you're new to the series, Road Trip with a Vampire works well as a standalone. Previous characters make appearances, but the focus stays squarely on Zelda and Peter’s journey, both literal and emotional. As a returning reader, I especially loved learning more about Zelda and her past antics with Reggie.
The romance here simmers at a satisfying pace, with just the right amount of spice. But what really makes this book shine is the witty banter and heartfelt conversations between the leads. Their chemistry feels natural and warm, and the humor adds an extra layer of charm. My only small critique is that the final conflict between them felt a bit drawn out, but it doesn’t take away from the overall enjoyment.
This is a sweet, slightly spicy, and genuinely funny romance with just enough magic to keep things interesting. Highly recommended for fans of paranormal rom-coms or anyone looking for a feel-good, heartwarming read.
The views expressed in my review are my own. Many thanks to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for allowing me to receive this ARC

This was exactly the escape I needed! I knew Levine wouldn't let me down!
I have read all the books in the series and, after feeling only lukewarm about the first one, am so glad that I've chosen to continue with them. I swear they keep getting better! Each has a distinct feel, and I was so excited to see Grizelda getting her moment here. She makes for such a temptingly colorful side character in Reggie's story that I was looking forward to this very much.
The road trip format of the narrative worked great in allowing the author to focus solely on the two main characters for the majority of the book. Let's be real-- that's what we're all in it for. And, despite being a 400 year old witch, Zelda makes for a surprisingly relatable main character. (Don't worry, Zelda, I don't get goat yoga either.) Peter as an amnesiac vampire is pure romance gold because it allows him to be dangerous and vulnerable all at once. That's a hard pairing to pull off under normal circumstances.
My only complaint was the narrative structure. The flashbacks to Peter's past prevented me from experiencing the revelations about his character at the same time as Zelda. Her portions were narrated in first person, and I'd have really liked to experience all the surprises and shocks she encountered in real time, rather than already knowing or guessing at the majority of Peter's backstory. As it was, I felt jarred out of the story periodically, which made the book (which is already long for a romcom) feel longer.
Thank you so much to Berkley and NetGalley for the eARC!

This book was simply a good time. Much like the first two books, it followers a couple interconnected to the first two in the series. In this one we follow Zelda, the witch friend of the vampire Reggie from the second book, and Peter, an amnesiac vampire trying to recover his memories.
The title of the book tells you everything. Zelda and Peter go on a road trip to try and help recover Peter’s memories and for Zelda to experiment with her magic. In typical rom-com fashion we have some of the usual tropes: forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, one bed…but with the mix of the paranormal and the fact that this book doesn’t take itself too seriously, it was a really great time. I found myself laughing at their bickering and teasing and you rooting for them to be together.
With this being the final book in the trilogy, I’m sad for it to end. I really enjoyed all three books and can’t wait to see what Jenna comes up with next!

There is something about Jenna Levine's writing that is so addictive I can never put the book down. I absolutely loved this book and read it in one sitting (which is definitely a big thing for me)!
Road Trip with a Vampire follows a witch named Zelda who has been trying to leave her magic behind after a previous incident and live a more simple life. One day, an amnesic vampire named Peter is sent to her from her friend Reginald so she can help him out. Peter is trying to get his memories back while Zelda's magic has been reaching a breaking point from being held back, and in an effort to mutually help each other they decide to go on a road trip.
I absolutely loved this pair together - Peter was so sweet and Zelda was extremely funny and charming. Their banter and relationship was really fun to watch and I found myself smiling during this entire book.
Thank you Netgalley and Berkeley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review! I had a great time reading this one!

Thank you Berkley romance for giving me this arc!
This was so much fun! Zelda is my absolute favourite character from Jenna’s books! Plus, her friendship with Reggie is amazing!
I feel like I have to mention the cover art because I have read over 800 books and these books stand out to me! They are so vivid and full of life (kind of ironic since vampires lol) but maybe not because Jenna’s vampires are so ALIVE and FULL OF JOY! That’s where her writing differs from other vampire stories and it’s a tasteful spin!
I appreciated how the yoga was not ‘overdone’ aka mentioned every page or Zelda’s only personality trait. I think sometimes characters can feel very similar but I truly felt like all of the characters were uniquely different from each other. Ex Frederick, Reginald and Elliott (Peter) were all very different but especially Cassie, Amelia and Zelda.
I got to say, that I much prefer names like Reginald and Frederick for the love interests because I know three Peters. So in my head his name was Elliott because thinking of him as Peter makes me think of real life = brings me out of the story. Obviously, no fault of the writing but just thought I would mention it.
There was a Timothée Chalamet reference twice that kind of confused me about the fire that took place over a hundred years ago. Then the obvious is that maybe it’s more recent but I thought Reggie and Zelda were out of touch for a decade (Timothée Chalamet hasn’t been famous that long). There’s also a strong possibility that I missed something or got something about this confused. Regardless, I don’t think it was very clear.
Elliott’s backstory once he remembered was so interesting and I loved how it connected to the current plot. My heart grew many sizes when Fredrick and Reggie made their appearance and were giving relationship advice!
Overall, this was a joy to read and this was a road trip that I would love to go on!!!

I adore this series, and this may have been my favorite. Zelda is a witch who wants a normal life, and Peter is a grumpy vampire with amnesia. Plenty of hijinks ensue on their road trip, and we get lots of fun banter, quirky characters, and emotions. I was truly invested in seeing them hopefully reach a happily ever after, and I felt all the feels along the way. Their chemistry was top-notch and they became a wonderful balance for each other. This was such a beautiful combination of humor, heart, and self-discovery. This is a charming paranormal read with plenty of absurd (in the best way) moments that I truly feel anyone would enjoy.

i loved this. this was a fun, angsty and sexy ride. peter was a dream and I adored zelda. my second fave in the series so far. i cant wait for whatever jenna does next!

Final Thoughts 💬
*Road Trip with a Vampireis a wonderfully whimsical ride that is impossible to put down. Jenna Levine delivers an enchanting narrative full of emotion, laughter, and that irresistible charm that makes paranormal romance so enjoyable. Whether you’re a loyal fan of the series or jumping in for the first time, Zelda and Peter’s tale is an irresistible addition to your reading list. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For those who revel in stories of magic, romance, and the joy of finding oneself on a literal and metaphorical journey, this book is a rewarding escape into a world where the unexpected is always around the corner. 📚❤️

Count on Jenna Levine to always give you a wild suprise of the paranormal. A tender, occasionally ridiculous, but romantic story about a Vampire and a Witch.
“Road Trip with a Vampire” is exactly what it says on the tin: a sunshiney human and a grumpy vampire are forced into a cross-country road trip that spirals into reluctant friendship, romance, and undead hijinks. Think “Twilight” but better.
While the plot takes some delightfully absurd turns, I still had an absolute blast with it. And perhaps those absurd moments were the reason I had enjoyed it to the extent that I did. It is an incredibly refreshing story that balances humor with themes of grief, identity, and learning how to live (despite the fact we’re talking about a vampire x witch romance but it fits, ok?)
This is a fang-filled, feel-good rom-com perfect for fans of paranormal romance. A solid 4 stars for charm, character chemistry, and cozy undead chaos. Absolutely need more Jenna Levine!

Thank you so much netgalley for the opportunity to read this book as an arc
I can’t explain how sad it is to have reached the final book in this vampire interconnected series
I’ve had so much fun throughout this series, and this book was t any different. Obviously don’t go into this expecting a masterpiece literature, but if you want something silly to read and have a nice time this is it!

Thank you to Berkley & NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
First of all, Jenna I just wanna talk - what do you mean this is the last one in the Vampire series?! This was such a fantastic close to the series, I think it may even be my favorite! Zelda & Peter's chemistry was so delightful and I truly loved that we got to see more of our fav jokester, Reggie. This book is the true definition of a paranormal Rom Com, I was giggling for most of the book (and then crying because, well, if you read this you know why.) Also the animatronic chickens did NOT disappoint.
If I could rate this 100 stars I would, I cannot wait for all of you to read this & to listen to the audio after it's been published!

ARC review: 5 ⭐️
What was this book about: a road trip with a vampire
Did this book deliver: yes, it delivered a road trip with a vampire
Was it a good road trip with a vampire: f$ck ya it was.
Also- heeyyyy jenna I see you spicing it up a bit 😉
Loved it.

*4.5 Stars*
This book was a beautiful culmination of this series (even if I hope she'll change her mind about this being the last one!). So many excellent tropes: only one bed, amnesia, past becoming present, and some good old-fashioned arson!
TLDR: a witch (Zelda) agrees to go on a road trip with the amnesiac vampire (Peter-- or Petey to Reggie) in the hopes that he figures out who he is, and she can regulate her magic away from prying eyes. There's also goat yoga. And also much angst about why people like goat yoga.
Zelda, while not present in the previous books, was an unseen force in "My Vampire Plus One" (for reasons that are spoilery for those that haven't finished that one). It was really interesting to see how the person Reggie used to know contrasts with the person Zelda is trying so desperately hard to be. "Road Trip with a Vampire" manages to continue the series' trademark sass + existential crises but in a way that felt fresh and heartfelt.
"Road Trip with a Vampire" beautifully illustrates that it's okay to change what you want in life-- and it's okay for your deepest desire to be having a 'boring' life.

Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for this ARC 🫶🏻
I’ve loved this entire series, it’s such a fun vampire romance with a witchy twist! Zelda is a 400 year old witch that has left her magical life behind to run a yoga business. When Peter, a vampire with amnesia, shows up at her door with a note from her friend Reginald, she decides to help him! When they find out who he truly is, they have to decide if their love has a future.
There’s some mystery, magic, a road trip, and romance! Peter was soooo sweet and he was obsessed with Zelda. Everything she did made him in awe of her! Reggie’s cameos always kept me laughing!
If you’re looking for a fun vampire romance with spice, then this one is for you!

Beyond sad to learn this series is coming to an end! I’ve read all three books now and found them to be my comfort reads! This book was no different, Zelda and Peter stole my heart.
I loved the road trip premise and amnesia trope. I had so much fun reading their witty banter and learning about both their backgrounds. I found the book to maybe be a bit long, but I just prefer my rom coms a little shorter so just a preference.
I can’t wait to recommend this book to my audience when it comes out! Can’t wait to see what Jenna writes next!

⭐⭐⭐
.
PUB DATE: October 14th
.
FEATURES:
-Contemporary Romantic Comedy
-Paranormal
-Road Trip
-Vampire and a Witch
.
LIKES:
-Both lead characters were well-developed
-Ending was very cute
-Mystery element with flashbacks and twists was fun
.
DISLIKES:
-Pacing: This book had a really slow start and the pacing was really up and down.
-Less Humor: I wish there had been more of the quirky/wacky humor in this one, like there was in book 1. I felt like this one was more serious than the other 2 books.
-Some of the dialogue was a bit cliché. Some lines were used that have been in many other romcoms.

Yeah, so I love this series. So fun, so romantic, and just an overall good time! I loved each of these down bad vampire mmcs. This book has more of a mystery element than the previous two. It kept me guessing at what was going to happen and it kept me entertained. I'm sad to see the end of this series, but excited to see what Jenna Levine rights next!
Thank you NetGalley and Berkley Publishing for access to this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved how this story didn’t just flirt with familiar paranormal tropes but gave them real emotional weight. It had all the charm of a cozy road trip romance wrapped in magic and mystery. The banter was sharp, the heart was big, and the world felt like a place I never wanted to leave. The romance was soft and strange and so beautifully earned. Every page made me grin or ache in the best way. I absolutely adored it.
