Noah’s dating habits are infamous at Evergreen High. Every two weeks, he dates someone new, treating love like an experiment and leaving a trail of broken hearts behind. Skyler has been watching this pattern unfold and finally decides it’s time to teach him a lesson. But what begins as revenge may just lead somewhere no one expected.

I really love the premise of this story. It’s such a fun setup with lots of potential for humor, growth, and heart. While I personally struggled to connect fully with the characters, I can absolutely see how younger readers (especially those closer in age to the MCs) will find their impulsiveness and whirlwind decisions relatable. The drama unfolds quickly, which makes for a fast-paced, easy read, and younger audiences may enjoy that immediacy.

For me, it would have been even more engaging if a few of the conflicts had more time to develop and resolve. That said, the “two-week dating rule” built into the plot does keep things moving at a brisk clip, which suits the concept well.

I think this book will be a great fit for teen readers looking for a light, fast-paced romance that captures the intensity and drama of high school relationships.

I forgot to write I review on this, but I read it a while ago. I thought it was cute but like a little cheesy. Definitely fast paced. I think reading this after a a long high stakes fantasy for like a cleanser would be perfect!

I have fallen in love with this sweet young adult romance. Skyler loves to solve a good mystery and finds herself intrigued with the boy who every girl at school wants to date. Noah Archer is infamous for breaking up with his girlfriends when they hit the 2-week mark. And yet, none of the girls talk bad about him. It's actually the opposite they all say that he has changed their life. When he breaks up with her best friend, Skyler wants to have a chance to give him a taste of his own medicine. She asks him out with the intention of making him fall in love with her just to break his heart. Is it too much? Maybe. But these characters are in for a wild ride of charming dates, heartfelt chats, and adorable teen angst. ⁣

Just thinking about Skyler and Noah brings a smile to my face. If you love a young adult romance, you will definitely enjoy this one!!

Two Weeks to Fall in Love
By Kat Featherly
Publisher: Wattpad Books

Publisher’s Blurb:
For fans of contemporary, humorous, clean teen romance by Beth Reekles, Sarah Dessen, and Jenny Han comes a debut novel about uncovering secrets, challenging first impressions, and discovering that love—and people—are far more complicated than they seem.

Noah Archer dates girls for two weeks and then moves on—but none of his exes seem to mind. Skyler Fox can’t figure it out. When her best friend becomes Noah’s latest “victim,” Sky decides it’s time to expose him. Her plan? Be the next girl he dates.

Charming and confident, Noah accepts Sky’s unexpected dating proposal. Beneath his reputation, Noah is searching for something real, driven by a secret. Each short-lived relationship is his way of chasing a connection before it’s too late.

Sky sets out to expose Noah, but the closer she gets, the more she starts to question her motives… and her heart. As their two weeks unfold and Noah’s secrets begin to surface, Sky is forced to confront the one question she never expected: can she be the one to break his two-week streak?

My Thoughts:
Yes, this is another YA novel about a girl with a nearly single-minded focus on a goal. Unlike many, it does not ruin her friendships. In fact, at the end, she finds that she may have more friends than she realized.

The idea of Noah having found a list of questions to ask a prospective romantic partner—and a two-week deadline for determining whether it’s love—is an interesting premise. Despite herself, Sky discovers that Noah is not just a player; he has a lot of depth, and it encourages her to think more deeply about herself and the world as well. She allows herself, sometimes against her better judgement, to get to know and like Noah for the person that he is.

In fact (slight but probably inconsequential spoiler), Sky realizes just how unkind her motives were in dating Noah, and she breaks up with him before the two-week deadline. And is miserable because of it.

However, she finally allows herself to talk to her mother, and their sometimes distant relationship is strengthened because of it. I love that this books allows relationships to deepen, not break apart.

There were some errors that I hope are fixed by publication: first Sky says she and Noah have second period together; later she says their first class together is fifth period. I also question how long the passing periods are in their school. They seem to get an awful lot done during passing time!

Possible objectionable material:
Serial dating, kissing, past death of a parent. LGBTQ+ representation. Cursing, including a couple of f-words. There is an underage party where teens smoke and drink. Sky’s mother talks to her about contraception and safe sex, though not in any specific terms.

Who might like this book:
If you like stories where characters think about their own lives and selves and learn to become better people, this is a good one.

I found the story arc for the Skyler and Noah interesting and I kept reading purely to find out how the story would end. I also appreciated the emotional character building for the two main characters.

That being said, I can't personally recommend this book, especially for teenagers, as it has a lot of language (mild to explicit) and a couple of side characters who are choosing an LGBTQ+ lifestyle. My values simply don't align with this type of content.

Thanks to Netgalley and Wattpad for the advanced copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Content to Consider: Language (mild to explicit), LGBTQ+ characters, cheating (one of the MCs parents), sexual harassment (nothing explicit happens), death of a grandparent (previously), sick/dying parent (mentioned)

Falling in love can be dangerous when your relationship comes with an expiration date.
This was a fun little YA romance with an interesting plot!

Noah is known around school for dating a new girl every two weeks, but nobody really knows why. All they know is after one of his breakups- girls rush to be the next one to try and win his heart.
Skylar wants nothing to do with Noah. She is not attracted to him and had never felt the urge to wait in line for him, but things change once he breaks the heart of one of her close friends.
Now, it’s revenge time. Skylar is determined to be the next girl he dates, because she wants to discover his secrets and take him down.
What she doesn’t expect is to develop an admiration toward him. Will she be the first girl to make it past the two-week limit? Or will she end up heartbroken like the rest?

I liked the premise of this.
Who doesn’t love a revenge scheme turned accidental romance?

The characters were developed nicely. Noah is a quite a bit deeper than expected and isn’t really the guy you would expect him to be.
I thought his reasoning for why he does what he does what interesting, even if it is childish and silly.
His liking of Skylar came from a good place, as he appreciated her being the first girl that was being true to herself.
Bonus points for side character development. Petition for another book dedicated to Melissa and Tara! I am rooting for Melissa to get her happy ending!

The writing is good, very easy to read and perfect for a young adult story.
I think it had good pacing as well.

I personally did not end up finishing this book, because the writing wasn't really my style and I had a hard time really getting into the story. The fmc seemed very stereotypical, although I didn't finish the book so there was probably some character growth that happens later in the story. I also don't prefer novels with lgbtq relationships. This is a personal preference, and I don't mind as much if it's a briefly mentioned situation with characters that aren't a main part of the story, but when I realize that there is a relationship of that kind within the main circle of friends/ characters in a book, I usually am less interested in the novel.
One thing I did like about the bit of this book I did read was the dynamic between the main character and her best friend who was wronged by the mmc. I liked that even though the best friend defended him, the fmc didn't fold and stayed mad at him. I think this adds a very real element to the story, and I liked the girl to girl support represented here.
All this being said, there is nothing inherently wrong with the plot or characters of this story, it just isn't my cup of tea. I'm sure this will be someone's favorite book someday! Thank you to the publisher for the opportunity to read this arc, and I hope to be considered in future reviews as well!

1.5/5, rounded up to 2
Okay, please don’t hate me. I really was not a fan of this book. The characters, the plot, the “secret” reveal… none of it really landed right for me.
I found the main character, Skylar, to be extremely irritating. She is abrasive, judgmental, hostile, and unpleasant to just about everyone in her life. I don’t understand why Noah agreed to go out with her in the first place. And Noah… what a boring character. Noah is so perfect and wonderful that the girls he breaks up with are never mad with him and just appreciate the time they spent together. Universally! Across the board! This guy has not a single bad breakup. Even the nicest people I know have bad breakups. I just can’t suspend my disbelief enough to take that in stride.
I just can’t understand why every girl in school seems to jump at dating Noah even though he only dates someone for two weeks. Sure, some of them would be all over it, but this guy breaks up with someone and the next day! A girl asks him out in class. Is Noah just made of human catnip??
And then, the reveal of his big, bad secret… his dad cheated on his mom. Sure, as a teen that would be devastating, and I can understand the friend being angry at Noah. Teens aren’t always logical and it’s easier to be mad at a friend than your mom. But for Noah to assume that people are going to care that his dad is a piece of crap? It’s just odd.
I also just… wasn’t that moved by the reveal that Noah is doing this all because his mom has terminal cancer. It tragic that she’s dying, but how does that translate to “I’m gonna date someone for two weeks and if we don’t have a perfect, awesome relationship, I’ll dump them.”? And the “deep” relationship questions. I wish they were actually deep or insightful. They felt like bad icebreakers rather than relationship-defining questions.
I think maybe I’m just not the target audience (which, granted, I’m not a teen). But I need to connect more with the characters than I did here. This was not my cup of tea.

I just finished Two Weeks to Fall in Love and I couldn’t put it down. It was the kind of romance that sneaks up on you—sweet, frustrating, and completely addictive. The story moved fast without feeling rushed, and the emotional buildup between the characters had me hooked from the start. There were moments that made me laugh out loud and others that hit a little too close to home. It’s the kind of book that makes you believe love can happen when you least expect it—and that sometimes, two weeks is all it really takes.

solid, fun, and pretty cute romance that definitely feels vaguely wattpad-y but definitely has a lot of strengths in and of itself. 4 stars. tysm for the arc.

Overall, this was not the book for me. I had trouble getting into the vibe of the premise (like that all these girls were just falling all over this guy, desperate for the opportunity to have their hearts broken--maybe I have been out of high school too long!). Also, I found some of the dialogue unrealistic. However, I did find myself getting into the story as it went on--there were some nice twists and thoughtful plot direction in the second half that left me glad I stuck with it.

When I found out this book was originally a Wattpad story all I wanted to do was read the comments whenever something crazy happened 😭. I actually really liked this story more than I expected. Noah became such a lovable character, and after all the cringey parts passed, I couldn't put the book down.

Noah Archer is known for dating girls for two weeks and then breaking up with them if he doesn't fall in love and nobody seems to hate him for it. Except for Skyler Fox, of course. When her best friend, Lily, is dumped by Noah, Skyler creates a plan to date Noah for two weeks, figure out his secrets, and expose him. However, once the two start dating, Skyler realizes there is more to Noah than she realized and begins to wonder if her plan is such a good idea after all.

LOVED✦ˑ ִֶ 𓂃⊹
• This entire book, the plot, the characters, their actions, etc.. is so cringey it's enjoyable. I found myself so entertained throughout all of it. Yes, there were many moments that I had to put my kindle down or convince myself to keep reading after an embarrassing moment but it's okay! I didn't pick up this book so I could have complex characters and amazing word building, so I actually adored almost everything about it.
NOT QUITE LOVED✦ˑ ִֶ 𓂃⊹
• At the start of the book, you're thrown right into the plot. That might be a good thing for some people, but it left me pretty confused. I was trying to figure out where the story was going while also getting used to the author's writing and learning who the characters were.

Overall, I definitely recommend this books if you're looking for a simple, cute romcom book that doesn't require much brain power. I had such a fun time reading this! (Also I would like to mention the fact that his last name is Archer and her's is Fox.. ouabh reference 🤭???)

Loved this book so much, I finished it in one sitting! I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. I didn't think I would fall for Sky and Noah from how the story starts out, but here I am.... hoping for more.

It's almost an enemies to lovers trope. Sky has it out to seek revenge on Noah for breaking her best friend's heart. Noah is one of the popular guys in school that has been dating a new girl every two weeks in an effort to find his person and fall in love. All his exes don't have anything bad to say about him, which intrigues Sky even more. She decides to be his next victim to try find out his secrets and break his heart before he breaks any more hearts.

Noah is charming and so smooth - he even had me swooning off the bat. I wanted to dislike him too. But like all the other girls before, I also fell prey. I love the banter between our two leads. I love all the questions he asks and how thoughtful and logical the answers are from both of them. The emotional maturity they both have both stems from a traumatic time in their lives.

I'm so happy this is my first book from NetGalley! I've been on a Romantasy binge lately and didn't think a teenage romance could get me out of it... but here I am. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a good light read and getting the warm and fuzzies from first loves.

Two Weeks to Fall in Love is a charming and heartfelt teen romance that turns a revenge plot into a story about vulnerability, unexpected connection, and seeing beyond the surface. Perfect for fans of Jenny Han and Sarah Dessen, it’s equal parts swoon, wit, and emotional depth.

*3.5 stars - SPOILERS IN REVIEW*

You can definitely tell that this was originally a Wattpad story. Did that make it bad? No. I enjoyed most of the book! There were a few words or phrases that were overly repetitive, but overall, I thought the banter between Skyler and Noah was cute and there were a bunch of things that kept me interested and wanting to read more. Personally, the third act breakup is one of my least favorite tropes, especially when it is because one person thinks they don’t deserve to be with the other and are doing it for the other person’s own good. I think because of Skyler’s anxiety throughout the book this one didn’t feel as forced as they often do, but it still wasn’t what I was hoping for at the end of this book. The conversations surrounding what love meant to them and what love should be were compelling though! It made the last few sentences wrap up really nicely. Overall a pretty quick and interesting read!

I was so excited to read this book when I saw it was clean, but instantly let down on the second chapter. I guess I tricked myself into thinking that because it was a clean romance, it would have some Christian values to it but the two best friends were very gay for each other and I couldn’t read a book like that because it is against my values. It looked cute and I’m sad I couldn’t read it, but i’m not going to go against my beliefs <3

I don’t even know where to start with this book. It was devastatingly beautiful! I am at a loss for words on how to describe it. But I will say there was a couple major parts that I couldn’t ignore, and one is the beginning. I felt it was almost too fast. Lily is such an important character in this book for her to be introduced and then just, poof, gone. I felt like I was missing key details. The other con is the ending was a little rushed too. I feel like if the beginning and ending were both just a few pages longer this book would’ve been darn close to perfection.
This book is the story of Skylar going into a relationship with cruel intentions and the infamous Noah Archer and his two week dating experiment, that will ultimately lead to a rare bond. I loved how we see Noah’s experiment through Skylar’s perspective but then, when she slowly becomes more fond of him, we then unravel the true meaning. And let me just say wow! This books is deep, it’s real, it’s sad, but it is truly magnificent. I loved seeing both MC’s points of view on the questions and how they are so contrasting but comparative at the same time. Those parts were truly well done

Oh gosh golly gee this was adorable.
Noah only dates girls for 2 weeks. Girls know this but they still date him but enough is enough for Skyler after he makes her best friend cry. She asks him out, even though she hates him. And friends, it's as cute and complicated as it sounds like it will be.

If you like YA, dating, questions, the beach, food, high school, and cute conversations with a side of grand ish gestures, read this one!
