I really liked this book. It took a minute to get into because I was not in the right headspace and when I came back to finish it, I really enjoyed the story. I think it is kind of a cozy mystery, a little psychology, a little small town mystery, and a little magic. The characters are relatable and interesting and the story moves along. While this isn't a short story, it flew by like one. I only wish Paloma had met Auntie Ruby earlier in the book because I thought she was an interesting addition. This was a great way to spend an afternoon.
