I found this to be a very interesting and timely read. Superhero movies, tv shows, and comic are all the rage right now and many are still stuck in plot lines and personality traits of when they first started over half a century ago. I liked how Stevens used Captain America as a jumping point for the discussion of masculinity and violence throughout America's recent history.
