This contains four stories.

The Hollow Husband
Really not good, hard work reading this. Totally unbelievable story and characters. Stella is married to David. Who on the surface appears perfect. Men start being murdered somewhat gruesomely. All pointers going straight to David and his twin brother as it transpires there is a family history. This is not a red herring hinted at with subtle clues. This IS the story. Stella somehow becomes a shadow to her retired father's detective friend Alan and takes on the job of the whole police force which is ridiculous in so many ways, not just that she is far from being the brightest of sparks. The whole tale is painfully dire and the reveal at the conclusion only a relief as it was the end to a desperately bad story.
No 2
The Patient
This one is slightly better. It follows James and the in your face obvious situation with his twin sister. He is released for a mental internment where he was held for murder. Of which he has no memory. His twin sister Janet and parents play a large and again, no surprise, role in his situation. Again blindingly obvious. And very slow. It surpasses the first story as it does manage to build some tension with other characters like Brianna, probation officer, before descending again into pure nonsense and cartoon characters.

I Will find You
Maria is married to cardboard cutout Cooper Grace, but she also has a past involving violent men trying to control her and once again the past catches up with her putting her marriage to Cooper under threat. Silly, unbelievable, predictable from the previous stories and very very slow.

The doppleganger
This is like a domestic soap opera that suddenly turns into something else. Emmeline is married to rich Jeffrey and they embark on a holiday to their family owned island resort in an effort to rebuild their frayed marriage. Surprise is that Jeffrey isn't Jeffrey, not a spoiler as Doppelganger is the name of the story. Again incredibly slow and very tediously soapy. When the "thriller" does is thrown in it concluded the ridiculous four set.
These are written to a formula, with one dimensional caricatures and a very basic plot. Barely readable, they really highlight the good authors who can cleverly lead a reader through a well thought out plot while playing with emotions and preconceptions. Not just ticking boxes of a formula.
All of these stories centre on control. One partner, husband, controlling the other, usually woman although it's reversed in two where the female twin wants control. This isn't "me too", and she doesn't go any way to redeem the pathetically lame females. This attitude to women in general is unpleasant and belongs somewhere in the Victorian era. I feel I should point out that not all women are like this and not all men are like depicted. There are far more variations than two.

This was a daunting task reading 4 whole books, but luckily they were all so amazing it wasn’t that hard after all. I’ve never read any books from Cole Baxter, but pretty sure that is going to change after this. I’ve already added several books to my wish list for future purchase. I would recommend reading each of these books separately with some filled in between each one, but a great collection of four books that stand on their own

I underestimated how overwhelming it would be to read 4 books by the same author would be. The book box definitely put me into a slump but i do think it has more to do with bit cutting up the book box with other books.
Overall the 4 books were good. I enjoyed the hollow husband the best but that may have been because it was the first book.
I would definitely suggesting cutting up the stories with other books but overall i enjoyed the experience.

Another great read by Cole Baxter, this book had many plots twist, suspense, and it was a dark read. I enjoyed this book a lot! It was an intense read, and I could not put it down. The book also featured a little entertainment, and this will make a great book for a mood reader to get them out of the reading slump!
Thank you NetGalley and Inkubator books for this advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review!!

I found this box set interesting to reread, as I had read the singles.
They have good characters well defined and good plots with twists and turns.
I recommend this box set by the author as well as the other books the author
has written. Thanks to Net Galley and Inkubator for my arc

I enjoyed this set. They were both great storylines and twisty… just how I like it. I would recommend to anyone looking for a thriller that keeps them on the end of their seat!

Psychological Thriller Box Set II by Cole Baxter is a gripping collection that delivers hours of suspense, twists, and dark intrigue. As a first-time reader of Baxter’s work, I was impressed by how unpredictable each story was—I never saw the endings coming. While some plot points require a suspension of disbelief, that only adds to the escapist fun. Each book is well-paced, with layers of the mystery unfolding piece by piece until everything clicks into place. If you’re in the mood for something intense, entertaining, and a little bit over-the-top, this box set is a great pick.
Special thanks to NetGalley and Inkubator books for this advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review!!

The Hollow Husband: Filled with twists and turns to keep even the most experienced thriller reader intrigued, this series will not leave you disappointed. If you are looking for a read that leaves you on the edge of your seat, you have found it. Has Stella married the man of her dreams or a vicious/malicious serial killer? Why is her husband acting so suspicious lately? So controlling? Has she found herself pregnant with a serial killer's child? These are the questions you will want the answers to and you won't be able to turn he pages fast enough.
Trigger warning: The details of the murders can be a bit graphic to some readers.
The Patient: Is James going insane again or are the hallucinations, nightmares and memories real? This book will keep you guessing until the very end! The representation and awareness of mental health issues was beautifully done in this thriller and with respect. Please note the trigger warning of mental health issues and abuse. I felt like I wanted more from the characters though. Mental health is such a detail oriented and in depth illness, so much more could have been done with the character's Overall though, great book and highly recommended.
I Will Find You: Trigger Warning: Abuse/Blackmail. This read was underwhelming for me. I felt like the characters never grew into "more." I was able to guess the twists and turns that were coming. Maybe it was from a very relatable personal experience, but the plot was just very mundane for me. On a positive note, the chapters are short and it was a quick read for me. This one was my least favorite of the box set.
Lastly, The Doppelganger: What can I say but "WOW?!" This was my favorite of the box set. Jeffrey is my favorite character and Emmeline had me wanting to scream. After a huge fight between Jeffrey and Emmeline one night, Jeffrey shows back up unharmed, but seemingly different. Emmeline has her suspicions. Is this really her husband? This is a dark read but one I really enjoyed. Great plot and great twist.
Overall, I enjoy the creativity of Cole Baxter and look forward to what he comes up with next!

I thought that this was a good collection of books by this author. It was my first time reading anything from Cole Baxter and I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't guess the twists in any of the books. You did have to suspend reality a bit, but these books were good for escapism so if you enjoy something that is a bit unrealistic, very gripping and surtprising, then this the box set for you.

I had a hard time getting through these books due to the repetitive dialogue and storyline. I felt like they all could be considerably shorter without the endless round and round of the same thoughts and scenarios for the characters. There is definite potential with the author and the storylines, but I had a hard time keeping my interest held in each book due to the way it was written.

There were lots of twists and turns throughout and well developed character. It’s a great collection of psychological thrillers. Would recommend
Thank you to Cole Baxter, NetGalley and Inkubator Books for the arc of this book.
