This is a solid biography of a beloved and influential band. It will appeal most to people who are familiar with the bank's specific music rather than just their hits and overall impact. The narration is smooth though clearly not voiced by a Swedish speaker

I love ABBA, so listening/reading this book was interesting and fun. I loved hearing all the songs in the movie Mama Mia, which I believe had a whole new generation falling in love with their music. Their story was very unique and I enjoyed the journey of what would become ABBA!

To call this "The Story of ABBA" isn't accurate; it could be called "Several Stories and Essays about ABBA". As others have pointed out, it isn't linear, and is more of a collection rather than a narrative. We get bits and pieces about ABBA, the tributes they inspired, professionals they worked with, and their place in a historical context. Great for veteran fans.
