Full disclaimer: I did not read the first book in this series. I don’t typically think that’s necessary with romance series but here I think more background information would have made this a more enjoyable read.

I went in excited. As a former Floridian who loves ghost tours, my expectation for the cuteness of this was pretty high. Ultimately, while I enjoyed the town setting, the main characters lacked chemistry. Some of this is in how little time they spend together. After the first flirtatious meeting, most of their encounters last for five minutes or less until well into the book. I would have loved to have seen more interaction or more pining and less conversing with a (truly lovable) set of locals.

Jen DeLuca never fails to deliver. I didn't think I'd enjoy these new spooky books as much as the Willow Creek Ren Faire crew, but they're really a fantastic escape from reality. This is one of those books that make you feel as if you've just taken a beach vacation without ever leaving your chair. The town of Boneyard Key gives big Stars Hollow vibes- everyone knows everyone else and they genuinely care about their town and each other. Tristan and Sophie are so right for each other, even with all the ups and downs in their relationship. Loved it!

Jen DeLuca's done it again! I think I liked the first Boneyard Key a smidge more (we had a lot of time jumps in this one) BUT I love Sophie and Tristan and it was good to see even more of the town's other regulars since Sophie is more social than Nick. I really wasn't sure how this one would get wrapped up into the HEA but I really loved the solution (and screw Tristan's father!). In this case, I was okay with the communication issues because there was a reasonable twist for Tristan not explaining everything to Sophie and then screwing it up when he did. Epilogue was truly *chef's kiss"

I love this author. I have read a lot by this author and have loved every book I have come across. I was sucked into this book from the first page and wished I had more story to read.

Such a cute book. Loved all the spooky small-town vibes. Who knew competing ghost tours would be so much fun. As a lover of Halloween, I recommend giving this a read.

Sophie, a historian, has lived in Boneyard Key since she was in second grade. Fascinated by the local ghost stories, she created her own ghost tour, honoring the truth behind their tales for the past five years.
Tristan arrives in the small town determined to prove to his father that his business, Ghoul’s Night, can succeed. Unaware of the competition, he invests precious time and resources, leaving him with only one option: to prove who has the best ghost tour.
Filled with spooky fun, Ghost Business is a fantastic read. Both Tristan and Sophie are well-developed and humorous characters. This second standalone book set in Boneyard Key offers a great escape, taking readers through the rivalry between two ghost tours and the ensuing complications. Tristan and Sophie have great chemistry, and their character growth goes beyond a simple rom-com. I can't wait to see what comes out of Boneyard Key next.

You had me at "clashing ghost tours" . In real life I do not do scary or ghost anything but in books, I so love a romance book with spooky vibes. Tristian and Sophie both had so much to offer the story and you could feel the tension just pouring out of every interaction. I liked this one better than book 1

3.5 stars, almost 4. I didn't think this was gonna work - competing ghost tours? but...it worked. I do think making Tristan bisexual wasn't necessary, not that there's anything wrong with that. it just didn't make any difference to the plot, so it felt... performative. I will be looking forward to more Boneyard Key.

I am so in love with Boneyard Key. Small town on the coast with ghosts is just catnip and Jen DeLuca does a fantastic job making this town feel real and lived in. It was great to see Nick and Cassie from the first book as well. I think what I loved about this book is Sophie's big heart. She loves so hard even when it's tough for her. I also love her support network of Cassie and Libby. Can't wait for Libby's story and the chance to be back in Boneyard Key!

Jen DeLuca is one of my all-time favorite romance authors and as a former North Floridian I have especially enjoyed her new Boneyard Key series. i was so excited for Sophie's story and it did not disappoint! Again, as a former North Floridian, I felt very seen reading about hurricane prep. I loved that Sophie's love interest was someone new to Boneyard Key because it was fun seeing him get to know the town and realize it is actually haunted. A series perfect for anyone who's a fan of Gilmore Girls but wish it was set in the south and had more ghosts in it!

I was able to read an ARC of this book thanks to NetGalley.

Jen DeLuca is becoming a favorite comfort read and this book was no exception. The works of Boneyard Key is comforting, cozy and predictable, in the very best way.

If you enjoy easy to read, cozy romances with a hint of paranormal activity, like I do, this series is going to hit all the right notes. An excellent second book in the Boneyard Key series and I cannot wait to read more from Jen DeLuca.

Jen DeLuca is one of the authors that I will drop everything to read her new release, so I was beyond excited to get my hands on her latest. Ghost Business returns to the most haunted town in America, Boneyard Key. Sophie has been leading her historically accurate ghost tours for several years. Tristan arrives in town to set up the latest in his string of ghost tours, known more for the performance than accuracy. But Boneyard Key can only handle one ghost tour, right? I loved this story, especially getting more of Sophie's story. The town gives Stars Hollow vibes in all the best ways. I highly recommend this one!

This book had me grinning, swooning, and cheering the entire time. There’s something magical about stories that blend rivalry with heart, and Jen DeLuca nails that balance so effortlessly. Also, I loved most is how the romance doesn’t undercut their ambitions. Sophie is allowed to be angry and proud and passionate about her business. The tension is warm and genuine, and when things start to get tender and complicated, it’s all the more delicious because of how stubborn they both are. The writing is breezy but smart, with a real emotional core. It’s not just funny or flirty. It actually makes you care, not just about whether they end up together, but about who they become along the way. This author is quickly becoming one of my favourites, and this book is exactly why.
