“Mom's” Review:
Wouldn’t you know it, “Dad” and I have been enjoying Alien: Earth on TV lately so having a similar story but at a kiddos’ level has been a fun parallel. The smaller illustrations on the pages add some fun additional mystery to the story and the overall “paths” you can select from are fun! “A” had a tiny bit of trouble with some of the newer words but overall she did great reading this on her own.

My first ending was a little boring [because she managed to pick the quickest conclusion!} but the next two times I made different choices and it was so fun to make the story different! I can't wait to read the story again in a new way! This was my first "pick your own adventure book" and I loved it!

Omigoodness! This was so silly! So many funny aliens! I love that I can make the story can change.

I couldn’t believe the path “A” selected the first time we read it! She figured out one of the “nearly-everyone-survives” options really quickly! “C” on the other hand, our little chaos incarnate, naturally figured out the absolute opposite path.
Thank you to Tim Collins, Simon And Schuster Children’s Publishing, Aladdin, & NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book!

NOTES:
° = Our Plot/Lesson rating is how well the kiddos picked up on the morals/lessons learned or well received the facts were.
^ = A, Reading at a 2-3rd grade level, voracious reader
* = C, knows her letters, and memorizes stories well!
**There might be a few little plot reveals edited to a [generic description in brackets] to keep the surprise. :)
“Quotes” - I paraphrase the kids’ opinions 90% of the time, but will call out their direct quotes.

Thank you so much to netgalley and the publisher for the arc of this one in exchange for an honest review!
This is a sci-fi pick your own adventure book full of puzzles where you have to survive and catch aliens.
This book was so fun and I think a lot of kids will enjoy this one! I really liked the pick your own adventure and the puzzles. The puzzles will get kids more involved and interested in reading. The puzzles were hard enough to be a challenge but I don't think kids will have too much trouble with them.
The book was easy enough to read and follow along with as well.
I will say that this was a hard book to read on kindle because of the flipping back and forth. I would recommend finding the physical copy of this one.

Really cool story. Very interesting. I just dont think a chose your own adventure was good as an arc. My Kindle would not let me just got to the previous pages at the bottom like your supposed to. And it can kicking me out of the book sating error. At least four times. Its was funny had to read the book like a normal book not a chose your own adventure. I loved the art work. I think the final book would be better to read and not an arc.

This is SO FUN! I think kids will love this book and enjoy the choose your own adventure aspect. I want to recommend this to my school librarian to purchase,
My only issue is that it is hard to do these kinds of books as ebooks without hyperlinks!
