What a way to start a new series! I always enjoy this author and this book is a great example of why. Great characters, sexy romance, steam, sweetness and humor. And a lot of heart. I was completely invested, not only in this couple, but the side characters as well. I cannot wait for more.

As a new series debut, Breaking His Law catapults the reader into the world of The Billionaire Hart Brothers.

First up is the eldest of these, handsome as sin,  brothers, Nathan.

The story of Nathan and Arianna erupts very quickly into some spicy spicy scenes as they just can't seem to help themselves after their very first meeting.

A workplace almost 'forbidden' relationship develops between Arianna and Nathan. Alongside this is an intriguing cast of supporting characters are introduced who we'll hopefully meet again (I love Jospeh!)

Not only has this novel given us an amazing story, but it's also given us the foundation to which  the other novels in this series will be built upon.

The overarching ethos of this book is love and loyalty, and I don't see this changing over the series.

Breaking His Law is highly readable as well as being traumatic for the main characters, each suffering from personal tragedies and certainly adds to the reader's understanding of the depth of love each are capable of.

An amazing series debut that I can't wait to continue.

Even as an adult, Arianna is still reeling from a car accident that took everything from her. Nathan is a lawyer and the son of the man she believes dealt her a second blow of injustice. Drawn to one another, both find something unexpected together.

I enjoyed the story immensely and flew through it in no time. Both the main characters and the supporting characters are well written and believable, and their back stories add to the complexity of their character.

There is a decent amount of spice in this book so if you are not a fan of that, this may not be the title for you. But I thought it was the perfect amount to set off this compulsively readable story.

I adore all books by this author and this one delivered just like the rest. I found the whole book super easy to read. You are thrown straight into the plot from the beginning and I just loved seeing how it would all pan out. My only niggle I think was how much time seemed to pass without much going on and how easy opinions changed but that's just me. Very good and I look forward to reading the rest in the series.

A work-place romance? Billionaire lawyers? Say less.

Ari & Nathan had such a powerful connection and I loved seeing the undeniable pull they had to one another. Through thick and thin, these two would go to war for each other. Besides the obvious steamy chemistry, their banter was by far my favorite. The verbal jabs had me laughing out loud and seeing Nathan’s reactions to Ari’s wit was always hilarious to me.

The side characters in this book also made this read very enjoyable. Nathan’s brothers truly are amazing and I absolutely loved the found family aspect that the author implemented. Joseph was my favorite of her friends and loved his energy throughout!

Ari’s family story is also very heartbreaking and the author does a wonderful job at pulling you in from the very beginning. I had A LOT of questions that built up over the course of this read 😅 I felt for her and was genuinely rooting for her every step of the way to find the justice and closure she deserved.

Overall, this was a very nice change of pace for me and I enjoyed stepping back into a work-place romance. I recommend this to anyone who loves the forbidden romance, work-place and billionaire tropes with high levels of spice! 🔥

This book was amazing! I literally couldn't stop reading as I started. I read it in one evening in a couple of hours. I loved everything about this book; the characters, the storyline, the chemistry between the MCs, perfection!

We have our FMC, Arianna who's set on avenging the injustice her dead family faced and entered the law firm to look for evidence. Then, she fell in love with the boss, Nathaniel. First off, I felt like Ari was not really prepared for the 'revenge' she was planning, she let her guard down too easily and trusted people easily. But, I admired her tenacity. At the end of the day, she did the right thing. She was a very good paralegal too!

The MMC, Nathan is everything I wished for in a lawyer, someone who uses their skills in the right moral way. I really liked him. I also loved his relationship between his brother, one of the best I've seen in books. Nathan was an amazing person and he was practically perfect.

As I said, the book was amazing and I loved reading it. I can't wait to read more of the books in the series. However, I would have loved an epilogue of the MCs years later with their kids and how well they both managed the firm. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this wonderful book!

The spice level makes you want to fan yourself while reading. This is the perfect book to start out a summer full of spicy reading!

I am a fan of VH Nicolson’s writing (I have followed her from the beginning) and this was up there with my favourites, I honestly think it’s the best book Vicki has written!
Nathan and Ari were just brilliant together, I don’t want to give anything away but the plot was really really good and a few twists and turns made for a compelling story that I literally couldn’t put down! It had banter, romance, spice and the full range of emotions, I can not wait for the next one in the series now. This is an absolute YOU HAVE TO READ IT book 😂🤩

As Nathan may be grumpy and dedicated to his job, but he excels at what he does and fights for those who deserve it. However, Ari has a different perspective and has taken a job at Hart Law to seek revenge on the family and firm that represented the man who shattered her world.

But what she doesn’t anticipate is the connection and chemistry she develops with Nathan, even though he isn’t the most welcoming employer and as they navigate their working relationship, it soon evolves into something deeper. However, the shadow of Ari's grief and her desire for revenge looms large.

And with plenty of push and pull, emotion, spice, and witty banter, Breaking His Law is an engaging read. That is enhanced by the inclusion of great secondary characters, and I truly hope there is more to come because I loved Nathan and his three brothers.

Oh my! I absolutely loved this story. As a long time reader of @vhnicolsonauthor her words never fail to floor me in the best way. Nathan was literal perfection. There is no other word yo describe him. And Ari was his best and most favourite match. I loved seeing how they tried to deny their attraction but their chemistry and tension was amazing! I adored them so much.

This arc read was a classic example of the secretary to CEO pipeline we're always pining for. Remind me again why we haven't broken the glass ceiling yet, because our MFC is RUNNING this corporate scene.

Anyways. We love to hate our boss and this girly took the love part to the next level. Just another reminder to wake up every day and choose to be the exception to the rule 💅

There is something so unbelievably good about these books. Like really goooooood.
The chemistry. The interactions. The clever plot driving the tension further was just on point all the way through. That excited feels you get when two people have such chemistry is right there in this book.
But also the heart in it. The heart and emotional connection and themes in this book was just wow.
Ari comes to this firm with one thing to do. Bring them all down for causing her to lose all.
What she didn't plan was who ran said firm.the man she was falling for.
That man is Nathan. He has his rules. He has all he needs and wants by living by them. But does he. Because one thing caused him to question it all and himself. And that one thing is the woman who's jist started at his firm.
Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Ari had one goal, get revenge on what she thought was a mistrial in the accident where she lost everything, but what she didn’t plan for was falling for the man she wanted to take down, Nathan Hart.

This book has everything you want, angst, chemistry, emotion and so much more.

Without giving any spoilers, we see what has defined Ari’s life in the prologue of this book and it is truly heartbreaking. This sets the tone for what she is out to get when she gets a job at the Hart Law but fate has other ideas.

Nathan has rules that he lives by but when a feisty Ari starts at his family Law firm, he finds himself questioning every single one of them. The back and forth between these two was electric and the spice was off the charts.

If you love billionaire, workplace romance books, you need to read this one.

Their chemistry is instant, fiery, and impossible to ignore. I loved their banter, tension, and how their relationship slowly evolved despite the secrets and complications.

This is my first VH Nicolson book but I definitely won’t be my last. I was in the mood for a quick office romance with a billionaire playboy background and man this did not disappoint!

I loved the banter, the heart behind the main storyline, the smart FMC, and the spice was excellent! Everything you want when you pick up these books! If you’re looking for a quick spicy romance do yourself a favor and pick this one up! Absolutely awesome!

Personally can’t wait to see which brother she writes about next!

Wow, this was hot. I loved the chemistry between Arianna and Nathan from the get-go. Arianna's revenge plot is solid and I like how hard she worked to get into a position to expose the Hart family. Nathan is a stand-up guy and I didn't want him to be a bad guy, so I was relieved to find out he wasn't.

Love this billionaire romance. It has EVERYTHING you want from it, cranky workaholic lawyer and a determined strong minded woman who comes in and shakes up his life.
Ari's motives may have been firmly set but when she does meet Nathan she is shocked by her reaction to him. Their attraction and chemistry ensure plenty of scorching scenes while they hold back from telling each other how they truly feel. But it was the story line that kept me hooked, turning the pages and eager for more. The bond between the brothers was also something special and broke my heart at one point.
A brilliant first book of this new series and I can't wait for more from these brothers.

This is not the book I was sitting down to read last night, but I saw the email with this ARC on it, and in minutes I had the book downloaded and open! I was in the mood for an angsty, spicy romance and that's exactly what I got! It was fun too though! It was just so good and I binged it in one go. It had really good chemistry between the main characters and the Harts were the strong central family that pins the series together. I'll be looking forward to the rest of the books with the other Hart brothers!
