Special Agent Nikki Hunt was called to the old abandoned farm by Matt, the man who had just purchased it. He'd found something terrible and wanted her help. The bones of two victims was in one of the rooms, hidden away. When the history of the house came to light, Nikki wondered if the bones belonged to any of the family who had gone missing ten years prior. As she began digging into the case, she was called to a home nearby. The fourteen year old son, Taylor Hall, had gone missing. With two other cases of missing teens, one who'd been found dead, one still missing, Nikki wondered if they were connected. Her blood ran cold.
While Nikki and Sheriff Miller investigated both cases, they could see there were secrets in the Hall household. Christy was a drinker; Jared was a caring family man and a surgeon at the local hospital. Both parents loved their children although Taylor and his mother often clashed. Amelia, Caleb and Penny had a close bond with Taylor and were distraught he was missing. As Nikki came closer to the answers she sought, she was concerned the results wouldn't be good...
Little Child Gone is the 10th in the Nikki Hunt series by Stacy Green and another spectacular episode in the series. She always manages to ramp the tension up, and this one was no different. Fast paced with an electric atmosphere, it is set in the freezing, snow and ice filled terrain of mountains and woods, which sets the suspense and anticipation on high! I'm already looking forward to #11. Highly recommended.
With thanks to NetGalley & Bookouture for my digital ARC to read and review.

This is a typical police procedural, with investigations and some action afterwards. The characters are great, and the plot is very good. The storytelling is also good, except the chapters going back in time, as this would not be known to the investigators.

My thoughts:
Another fast paced and addictive read from author Stacy Green. I look forward to each book in the Nikki Hunt series.
I was hooked right away with the plot in Little Child Gone.
✅Cold case
✅Missing teens
✅Dead bodies in a wall
I was definitely kept guessing as to what was going on!
Highly recommended series for crime mystery thriller fans. It would be best to read the series in order so you get the background story about each character.
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Little Child Gone by Stacy Green
Holy. This was intense from the first line. This story was dark and twisted. It was extremely fast-paced and contained so many secrets and lies.
When I was approved for this book, I didn’t realize it was book 10. So, I spent the past few weeks reading the previous books, and I am so happy with this series. The writing, plot, characters, and action are so well done.
I love Nikki and her team. These characters have become so special to me. Their bond and chemistry are beautiful. I’ve enjoyed the development and growth.
This book was heavy but well written. I love how Stacy curates a story and maintains so much tact while dealing with heavy topics.
This series has been so good. This book was everything we have come to expect from this author. A dynamic story and engaging plot keep the reader captivated. I am already looking forward to the next adventures with FBI agent Nikki Hunt.

FBI Agent Nikki Hunt returns in a blockbuster of a story. That sees her called to a friends house when his renovations uncover bones and a story of a missing house keeper and her three children who mysteriously disappeared.
But just as Nikki and forensics start to uncover just who these bones belong too and what happened to the housekeeper known only as Ms Smith. A teenager called Taylor Hall disappears and a desperate hunt ensues to find him.
However, when Nikki and the sheriff head to the high school to interview staff and friends Nikki discovers a link to the recently discovered bodies. Which leaves Nikki questioning everything and then a phone call blows the whole case wide open.
And with big twists, tension and an edge-of-your-seat conclusion. This was another cracking addition to the series and I would thoroughly recommend it to all.

Nikki Hunt is an intelligent woman, caring mother and hardworking agent. She’s usually working the most difficult cases, however her case load slowed up. She was asked to look at something in an abandoned extension off an old home being renovated. It wasn’t pleasant but that’s her job and she does it well. Aside from this cold case she is also working a possible kidnapping case that just doesn’t sit right with Nikki. Despite all the trauma in her world Nikki is highly respected by peers and civilians, while there are a few on the side of dislike. The entire series is wonderful with the kind of suspense you enjoy reading but hope won’t ever happen. The books are connected but only through Nikki’s personal life, as each book has a new mystery. I was fortunate to read an early copy so I wrote my review voluntarily.

I really missed Nikki Hunt so I was exciiiiited to read this!
The connection between an old case and ongoing cases was fantastically made. Everything made sense and it wasn't too woven.
This time we didn't get much insight in Nikki's private life nor did we see much of the FBI squad which was the only change to the other books. This is not at all a critique, it's just different than the other ones.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was actual quite sad when it did end.

I was so excited for another Nikki Hunt book! This wasn't my absolute favorite in the series but I still really enjoyed it! I would have liked more of Nikki's personal life in this book, but the mystery was still fun to read and interesting to solve. I really enjoy this author's fast-paced writing and pace. I will definitely continue to read this series and am already looking forward to the next book! I received a free copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Yet another fantastic book in the Nikki Hunt detective series. Nikki and her team are called out by one of their friends after they found a body in the house they had just bought to do up. This soon turned into two bodies which by the look of them had been there quite a while. The hunt began to find out who they were and what happened to them.
A fast paced book throughout. Highly recommend.

In the end, a really good hunt!👦❄
It wasn't until the second half that I really got taken up in this Nikki Hunt case of missing kids and a bizarre cache of bones in the closet of a large house recently purchased for reno. Once a fresh investigation with a teenager who had just diasappeared kicked in, I felt Nikki's case became more urgent and easier to follow. There were some good twists in the end that I had never expected and, as always, I loved the dramatic climax.
The story provides flashbacks to a family who went missing on an August night without explanation. Not too often, but the glimpses of them had a good note of suspense and dread.
This is a series I've followed for a while and I always look for the next release. This one confused and disappointed me a bit because it includes too many different law enforcement branches and agencies, particularly in the beginning when it focuses on some older cases still to be resolved.
Not a miss for me but certainly not my favorite in the series.
Thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

Nikki Hunt Book 10.
Nikki is at home with her family when she receives a call from an old friend. He has found something and needs Nikki's help. What he shows her is beyond anything she had imagined.
Working to discover what happened she gets a call about a missing 14yo boy. Is it connected to other similar cases nearby? Nikki and the team must work flat out to discover the truth.
I was totally hooked from that prologue and flew through this book in 2 sittings. I love this series and can't wait to read more.

This is the latest read in the ever improving series of FBI agent Nikki Hunt. The characterisation is always good, especially young Lacey, and this is an easy read with a clever plot. A good bit of suspense and a bit of a ride as Nikki tries to figure out a cold case as well as investigating a missing teenager. The pacing is steady, with a few twists and I really liked the ending. Thanks to Net Galley for my ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review Little Child Gone.
FBI Agent Nikki Hunt is back in this tenth book in the series, and we the readers are glad of it.
There are so many threads to this one, that it takes most of the book to knit them altogether (I know, mixed metaphor, but I don't care) and bring the story to a close.
A young boy has gone missing and it appears that another one is gone - and NIkki and her team are brought in by the local sheriff for their profiling and investigatory expertise.
At the same time, a friend of Nikki discovers a horrible secret in the walls of a home that he's just bought to rehab - two long-dead persons.
The investigations seem to be separate; after all, the bodies are probably decades old and the missing boys are current. But as Nikki and her team begin to sift through evidence, and interview all of those involved, there seem to be connections heretofore unseen.
As with all of the previous Nikki Hunt books, this one is intriguing from start to finish.
Recommended - can be read as a standalone, but the whole series is worth a read.

This book is a bit of wow read.
I loved the suspense and how the author really made me feel the chills.
It is a good story with a well developed plot and for me this was a one sit read.
It is pacy and thrilling and when i finally reached the end I was amazed. I did not guess the outcome. it is just so brilliant.

Another nail biting installment for Nikki and her team. They have a cold case and a current case of missing children that’s keeping them all busy. This one will keep you guessing the whole way though. Stacy Green is one of my automatic go-to authors! Never disappoints and I highly recommend this series!

From the moment I turned the first page of Little Child Gone, I was completely hooked. Special Agent Nikki Hunt is a character I connected with immediately—fierce, intelligent, and deeply human. The atmosphere was chilling: the storm, the abandoned farmhouse, the hidden room behind a wardrobe—Lisa Regan paints each scene so vividly that I felt like I was standing right there beside Nikki, holding my breath as the secrets of the past started to surface.
The story weaves two haunting mysteries into one unrelenting narrative: the cold case of a missing housekeeper and her children, and the urgent search for a boy who’s just disappeared. I found myself racing through the pages, desperate to uncover how these seemingly separate threads might be connected. Every twist and clue had me second-guessing what I thought I knew.
But what truly struck me was the emotional depth. Behind the chilling discoveries and pulse-pounding suspense are real human stories—loss, trauma, survival, and resilience. Nikki’s determination to find the truth, no matter how painful, is both inspiring and heartbreaking. The stakes felt incredibly real, and I found myself rooting not just for justice, but for healing too.
If you're a fan of crime thrillers with heart, Little Child Gone is an absolute must-read. It's tense, beautifully written, and left me thinking about the characters long after I closed the book. I can’t wait to see where Nikki’s journey takes her next.

Nikki is immersed in more than one case and it makes for a page-turner! I read this in one sitting. It's fast paced and full of surprises. We don't see much of the family this go around, this story is very focused on the mysteries. I was stunned at each revelation. This author never fails to deliver!

Little Child Gone, Nikki Hunt book 10, by Stacy Green
I love this series and this was a fantastic, fast paced read. We've got some old bones in this one and some fuzzy gray lines are crossed. Past and present collide thanks to one inquisitive kid. Everyone is not always who they seem in this one. Great book with lots of twists and turns. Loved it.

First I would like to thank Netgalley and Bookouture for this arc. This is the 10th book in the Nikki Hunt series by Stacy Green. I love this series and each book is better than the last. Nikki is called to an old farmhouse that bones of two people were found in a closed off closet. They are believed to be related to a missing persons report from ten years ago of a mother and her three children. While her and her team are trying to figure out this case, she gets a call about another missing teen. Soon she is beginning to think the two cases are related but how. I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down.

Who is killing all the teens? Then bodies are found in an old family apartment. Are they connected? Will the cops figure it out before another teen is killed? Takes a teen to actually figure the killer.
