Is this a new case for our top FBI agent Nikki Hunt? Technically, no—but since the gruesome discovery was made by a friend of hers, she decides to go to the scene anyway. She doesn’t get much time to dig into it, as the disappearance of a teenager demands her full attention.

The book starts off promisingly, with a part that takes us back in time, immediately sparking my inner detective.

Many questions swirled in my mind. Are these two separate cases that Nikki and her team have to deal with, or could there be a connection between the recent disappearance and previous incidents? Or perhaps the cold case and the missing boy are linked?

Nikki is a strong woman who has already endured traumatic experiences and doesn’t let herself be easily shaken. If you want to intimidate her, you’ll have to wake up early—because nothing and no one will stop her from doing what she does best: bringing justice.

Once again, it becomes clear that people are often very good at hiding their true nature, and that someone who is seen as a god by the outside world can turn into a real devil behind closed doors.

I once again thoroughly enjoyed this thrilling installment of an amazing series. I'm ready for Nikki's next adventure. 5 stars.

Nikki Hunt is on the case again. Skeletons are found in an old apartment. What happened? Who were these people. This story will keep you guessing, with all sorts of twists and turns. One came completely out of the blue. As usual with this author you can count on a good story that will keep you turning the pages. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Little Child Gone is so good! I cannot wait for more in this series. I also would love to see more of Nikki's daughter, Lacey; she is so fun to read about with her spirited personality. The twists and turns in the story are expertly woven, keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout. The characters are richly developed, and their emotional depth adds a layer of complexity that elevates the narrative.

The plot centers around a seemingly ordinary disappearance, but the layers of intrigue and the unraveling secrets make for a compelling read. The author’s ability to create suspense is impressive, as each chapter reveals just enough to keep you guessing and craving more. What stood out most to me was the emotional resonance of the story; it’s not just a thriller but also a poignant exploration of loss, family, and the lengths one will go to for loved ones. I found myself very sad at times in the circumstances of the characters and even cried at the end.

You just have to keep on reading each book with such great storylines and characters! You did it again Stacy Green ! Another great book that had me reading it in one day! I couldn't put it down!
