This was an enjoyable read. I thought the story was great. I loved the progression of Logan and Emily’s relationship. In some ways, this book reminded me of the TV show Switched at Birth because of the relationship between a deaf boy and a hearing girl. Logan is a new addition to my book boyfriends list. He was sweet, and lovable. Emily was fierce, yet secretive. However, when they were together they were perfect. The relationship was based on trust and love, and I thought it was well-written. Also, I loved Logan’s brothers. They were funny. Also, Haley was sweet as can be. The ending was a bit abrupt, but I still enjoyed it. I can’t wait to read book 2. Overall, a great read.

First of all the cover and the title of the book drew me attention. The story held my attention from the very beginning to the end.
It was steamy, Logan and (Kit) Emily's chemistry was through the roof. All of the love scenes were great.
It blew me away.
I wanted soo badly to rate this at 5-stars but held back due to the cliffhanger ending that resolves in book 2.

I love this book! Logan and Kit are great together. From the first chapter there is humor and it pulls you right into the story. The characters are unique and each have their own issues they need to overcome to be together, There is a bit of a slow burn to this book. While we know from early on they like each other, they take the time to get to know one another before they become intimate.

There is also a great family dynamic between Logan and his brothers. They all work in their tattoo parlor together and they live together so it was entertaining when they were all together. I know that each of the brothers gets their own book so I know we will get to see more of the family interaction throughout the series.

My main complaint with this book is it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. That didn't take away from my enjoyment of this book but I do wish we didn't have to read book 2 to see how things turn out with Logan and Kit.

Unfortunately this didn't speak to me. I would have to be A LOT younger to enjoy it. Like, my teens. Now in saying that, if I had a teenage daughter I wouldnt like her to read this, as it doesn't set a good example:
"He has never loved another woman", She thinks other girls are "skanks" and she cleans the boys house a lot. WHY would I like to read about cleaning smelly boys houses? This is everything Feminism is not about.

Ill give it to starts because Im sure Tammy Falkner can do better, shes not half bad at stringing together a story. I would recommend her to read some Courtney Summers or Melina Marchetta for inspiration.

Entertaining but I wanted a little more time for the emotions between Logan and Emily to develop. The characters are relatable so it made me want more but I think I would have appreciated it more if it had built up over more days intially.

Loved it the second time!!!

Even though I had already purchased and read this a few years ago, I wanted to take the opportunity to re-read this book again and provide my opinions after reading it for the 2nd time.

I have to say this is still a 5 star read for me. I really enjoyed Logan's character. He's not a rich billionaire that has a Midas touch of gold with money. His character seems real and isn't too far-fetched that he is put on a pedestal. He's been deaf since he was 13 years old and hasn't spoken a word since then until he meets Emily. He is a bit of a man-whore and somewhat cocky, but underneath it all is sweet, sensitive and in tune with how others are feeling especially Emily.

I love Emily! She's independent and has shown gumption by leaving home to find herself in New York. She's also a tough and brave young woman and at the beginning of the story is living on the streets of New York. They meet when Emily comes into the tattoo shop where Logan works wanting a tattoo. Logan puts his usual moves on her, but Emily punches him in the face.

I love Ms. Falkner's words as she takes us through the journey of Logan and Emily's romance. Reading this again for the 2nd time hasn't diminished the story for me and like the first time I devoured every word!

This book earned it’s 4 stars almost entirely because of Logan, the hero, and his brothers. I would’ve read an entire story about nothing but this man and his family. The heroine and the romance were just fringe benefits of reading about Logan. Here’s what I love about Logan:

1. He’s deaf, but his deafness doesn’t really impact his life in a negative way at all. He doesn’t feel sorry for himself, and he does everything he wants to do in life without worrying about his deafness.

2. He doesn’t enjoy talking, but almost immediately talks to Kit, just because it’s easier for her that way. That’s just one example of his selflessness.

3. He didn’t make the best first impression on Kit (he really did deserve that punch in the nose), but after that initial stumble, he was a perfect gentleman (while still managing to be protective, alpha, and all kinds of sexy).

4. He wasn’t just looking for sex. He stuck to his guns when it came to Kit. He said he wouldn’t have sex with her until she trusted him, and he didn’t cave. You gotta love a man with willpower, amiright?

5. He was all-kinds-of-adorable while taking care of his niece. You gotta love a man who’s good with kids, amiright?

It’s not that Kit isn’t a good heroine, because she is. She’s just completely outclassed by Logan as far as I’m concerned. And while I’m being honest, I wasn’t totally buying her reasons for being on the run and maintaining her false identity. It wasn’t like she was in WITSEC or anything. I thought she was maybe being a little melodramatic about the whole no-one-can-know-who-I-am-I-can’t-trust-anyone schtick. I also saw ZERO reason why she had to be separated from Logan at the end for 3 months. Logan had every right to be angry at her and never speak to her again, in my opinion. (But, of course, that’s just not Logan’s style. He’s too awesome to hold a grudge. I totally would have, though. Just sayin’.)

But, long-story-short, this was a good read. It was sexy, fairly low-angst, and interesting/highly entertaining. Logan’s brothers were clearly sequel bait, but I didn’t mind because they were super interesting. I’ll DEFINITELY read Matt’s story. I’d download this one now, folks. (It’s free right now. You never know how long that kind of thing is going to last.)

Full disclosure: We received an ARC from NetGalley, free of charge.

Tall, Tatted and Tempting is a sweet romance set in New York City with fabulous characters created by Tammy Falkner. Logan is one of 5 brothers (please can I be adopted into the Reed family?!) who are very close but poor. These brothers live together and are faced with difficult challenges. "Kit", who is hiding her identity, is a young homeless woman who is trying to survive on the streets by playing her guitar for tips. When Logan first meets Kit, he is struck by both her beauty and her circumstances. While wary, Kit allows Logan to help her when he offers her a place to stay the night. What follows is romance at its best. Their feelings develop over time and trust builds slowly. There are obstacles to be overcome by Logan and Kit, including communication. As Kit and Logan draw closer, they come to realize that love and family are everything, but it is not always possible to have both. A definite 5 star read!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I dislike the cover of the book. Almost made me not want to read it but then the description won me over.

Logan a tattoo artist is the main guy of this book. He's hot and more then a little immature. In the beginning of the book, he's insanely rood to our heroine, Emily. Emily had come to get a special tattoo from the shop that Logan and his brother work at but ended up running away. Emily is a starving artist with a difficult past. She sometimes finds it hard to even buy food or a place to sleep. The tattoo was a birthday gift to herself, a kind of way to help her move on from the past. She also has one hell of a secret.

Logan also doesn't have an easy life. His family has some money issues and he has a family member that sick.

The two eventually meet back up and form a sort of friendship/relationship. She meets his family and feelings become deeper. They have so communication issues as the Hero is deaf and the heroine has difficulty ready.

I won't lie and say there is a happy ever after but the book was a great read and worth the time spent reading. Theres more books after this one and can't wait to read those.

This is book one of two of Emily and Logan's story. There are more in the series but the first two are about Emily and Logan and yes the first book ends on a cliffhanger but lets just say its not an abrupt ending it is actually a nice cliffhanger. This story is about Logan who is deaf and he meets Emily who has reading problems so they find different ways to communicate. Logan is an amazing character, he is so sweet and sexy but has a loving heart not only for Emily but for his family too. I loved how much him and his brothers showed each other just how much they love each other and how close they are to each other. Emily is a bit of an enigma in this story we don't get too much information on her throughout the book. We only know that she is homeless and she has a loving heart so Logan helps her out. I highly recommend this book and series to anyone who loves a great romance story.

Wow!! Man I completely fell in love with this book and the Reed Brothers. I can honestly say they're one of the most accepting people I've read about and I feel like we need more like this.

The Reed Brothers look past physical appearance and disabilities focussing on personality which is an unbelievably sext trait. I fell madly in love with them and trust me once you begin you fall down a deep hole that you can't leave until you've read the entire series and its companion novels.

Would highly recommend this entire series!!

Unexpected Findings and Deep Secrets

Great introduction to a strong family with layers of complexity, and a heap of problems. The feisty foundling they take in doesn't get a lot of backstory, but that makes sense given the plotline. Way more to come in future volumes, so the ending, while not a true cliffhanger, doesn't answer all the questions about this couple. Disability makes an appearance as a central motivator for both characters, and seemed well-done/sensitive.

I really enjoyed this story. I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review and then saw I had bought it in 2014 but hadn't read it. (I have a lot of books like that). I'm so glad I finally read it. I've already bought the next book.
This story was about Emily (a runaway) and Logan (a deaf tattoo artist). He didn't speak to anyone, just signed until Emily. When he realized she couldn't read well, he started speaking again. Emily started staying with Logan and his 4 brothers when he realized she was homeless. She refuses to tell him her real name until the very end (when she knows she has to leave). When a near tragedy touches the family, she sacrifies herself to help them. This story was so good. I highly recommend it
