An inspirational memoir detailing Steve's journey founding Master Wall amid firings, financial crises, and industry challenges. Rooted in faith, perseverance, and integrity, the book shares lessons from sports, self-talk, "near-death" experiences and the 2008 recession. Steve emphasizes quality service, ethical decisions, and glorifying God. Authentic and motivational, it's ideal for entrepreneurs valuing resilience over quick success, though faith-heavy for secular readers. A grounded guide to thriving through adversity.

I got a digital galley copy of this book via NetGalley.

Here is what I liked about the book:
1. The story of the author and his business is told in a compelling way.
2. Language is simple and prose easy to follow.
3. It covers all the important things that an entrepreneur needs to do to be successful.

This is a good autobiographical book about the author, his journey and all the peaks and valleys in the same. I didn’t see any new insights about either leadership or anything else. I know since this is autobiographical, the author could only write what actually happened & not some new insights, which is fair.

So, all in all, a decent book if you want to enjoy the journey of the author in building his business and can relate to it.

A title with three words separated by commas is an apt way to start this book! It's a book about one company's success. It's a book about the personal leadership philosophy of the founder of that company. It's a book about coaching others. And most importantly it is a book about living out your faith and commitments. Whether you are in business, leadership, or just want to be a more productive human being, this is a great book to read. I highly encourage you to do so. You will find yourself somewhere on the pages, and more importantly, find a suggestion for how to get to a better place from the words on the pages.

An inspiring and practical guide to finding hope, purpose, and success as a leader in today’s business world. Every chapter offered quotes worth highlighting and words that resonated with my own professional journey.

While a few sections moved a bit slowly, I consistently found myself returning to the book, consistently drawn in by its authenticity and encouragement.

This is a great read for anyone feeling uncertain in their career, navigating professional obstacles, or questioning what’s next. Steve Smithwick shares his story with honesty and heart, offering a blend of business insight, life lessons, and spiritual grounding. He reflects on both success and failure while remaining rooted in his values and faith in God.

For anyone facing personal or professional challenges, this book delivers the right balance of motivation and real-world wisdom.
